The Real Us (Private)

He smiled as he spoke about the club making him happy. "Well... that is good." The club makes everyone happy and it even made Haruhi happy. He could tell that she actually enjoyed being in the club. "I didn't say they weren't real... I just want to get to know you better. There's no crime in that is there? I want to be closer to you than the ones in the club are..."

Kyouya just nodded, sliding his hands though his hair, letting his guard drop a bit, part of the punishment and refinement falling away. He raised an eyebrow. "Well... it certainly didn't sound like it but I'll take your word for it." He told him shrugging. "No crime I suppose." He agreed after a second, "Though why I have no idea." he shrugged.

"I haven't figured out why either... but just... can you accept that I want to? Can't you try?" He stood up and came closer to him, getting on his knees in front of him. Putting his hands on his knees. "It all is really strange I know, but..." He looked off to the side and chuckled nervously. "Guess what it means to be a real friend... I think.."

Kyouya watched him, frowning as he scooted towards him. "I can try..." He sighed, watching him for a moment. "Though I've never really had people so curious... except for Tamaki of course, though you're strangely quite a bit less annoying than he was..." He muttered, the last part more to himself. He nodded a bit, leaning back in his chair, still trying to figure why he was actually kneeling in front of him.

He sat back with a sigh and a smile, nodding to him. "Good! I promise you I won't really force you into doing things. Friends are just meant to listen and be there for one another..." He looked out the window feeling really embarrassed that he was even talking about this sort of stuff to him. He didn't even mention this kind of stuff to his brother at home.

Kyouya raised an eyebrow. "Force me?" He repeated in disbelief. "Kaoru... you can't force me to do anything." He told him with a small sigh, nodding as he spoke though.. "I suppose that is what they do... does sound a bit mundane when you say it aloud though..." He sighed, shrugging. "But anyway... maybe we should grab something to eat, you hungry?" He asked.

"Sure... I know that. I wouldn't be able to force you into anything." He waved his hand lazily with a smile before looking up at him. He stood up on his feet when he mentioned food and nodded his head.. "I could go for something to eat. What did you have in mind?"

Kyouya smiled a bit and nodded, "Good, because I'd have out private police arrest you before you could try." he told him with a smile before standing up, brushing his uniform up. He shrugged at the question. "There's usually something in the kitchen that they cooks can make quick." he told him, leading him back down stairs.

He blinked at the thought of Kyouya giving the command to arrest him and it sent shivers down his spine. He didn't want something like that. He watched him brush himself off as if there was dirt on him. He made a face, but quickly followed after him. As he followed him, he found himself looking at Kyuoya's figure and he admired it. He really did have a nice figure. With a blush he looked away. "Yeah, let's see what they got ready to cook then."

Kyouya smiled a bit as he saw him shiver. It was a small success, nit he always liked winning. He nodded as they headed downstairs and to the kitchen. While the cooks started preparing a snack he turned back to Kaoru. "So..." He sighed, looking around. "What do people normally do next at people's houses?"

He looked around the house avoiding eye contact with any part of Kyouya's body. When he spoke to him though, he looked at him and his eyes wandered downward and then back up. He turned so that he could look out the window. "I'm not entirely sure... Remember it was always my brother and I alone... I've never really hung out with anyone other than Hikaru."

Kyouya raised an eyebrow, watching him for a minute. "Well... That's more than I usually do so you have one up." He pointed out, walking over to the table and sitting down, waiting for the food to be finished.

He sat at the table with him, but avoided looking at him. "Can't say that is much. All we really did was play our video games together... Other than that we just watched people all the time." He leaned his head on his hand. "So it really isn't a one up..."

Kyouya watched him, shrugging a bit. "I see..." he thought aloud. "Still... between that and sitting on the computer..." he shrugged, nodding as the cooks set the food down and starting to eat. "Hmm... well..." He looked around in thought.

He looked at the food and picked at it for a long moment before finally picking up his fork and eating his food. He glanced over at him, "Aren't you worried? Aren't you afraid that what few of us who don't find someone will be left behind.." He looked back down at his food and moved it around a bit. "I am..."

Kyouya looked back as Kaoru as he spoke again. He thought over his answer as he took a bit and chewed. "It's always a possibility..." He admitted quietly. What would he do once the host club disbanded? He'd always assumed he'd continue what he always did but... "But if you're concerned why don't you just find someone? You have dozens of admirers..." He pointed out. "Because in truth that's most likely what will happen..."

"Well that would be a little hard, since I'm interested in none of the ladies." He picked at the food some more before eating more of it. The more he thought about it, the more figured out he wasn't interested in ladies at all. That didn't really mean he was interested guys instead, but that meant he would be left behind either way.

Kyouya glanced over at him, "Well... that's always a danger when you spend so much time seeing dozens of ladies..." He sighed, to be honest he didn't have much preference for any of them either but... then again he'd never been known to have any romantic interests. "I'm sure you could find someone interested in you, that you find interesting." He pointed out in thought. He'd always figured he'd get married eventually, in what situation though he had never been sure.

"Not exactly. It would probably end up taking far to long. We'd probably end up going all our separate ways before that could end up happening." He finished his food before pushing the plate away from him. "Yeah, we do see a lot of ladies everyday, but I can certainly say they are only interested in Hikaru and I's forbidden love routine."

Kyouya watched him for a minute and sighed a bit. "I suppose it's possible, there's no timeline for your club." He sighed, watching him as he took another small bite. "Well... the woman we entertain we do so without a deeper intention, it's just that, entertainment." He pointed out with a small shrug.

"Yeah, that is true... but you can only get so much enjoyment by pretending..." He sighed and pushed the rest of his food away. He suddenly had no appetite to eat anything. "I don't you are full understanding what I am trying to say Kyouya-senpai... I'm not interested in women at all. They don't appeal to me. They never have..." He really would have thought that he would have gotten that by now.

Kyouya watched him, smiling a bit. "Yes... I'm aware." he sighed, listening to him as he spoke again. He sat back, chewing over the information. "To be honest... I had my suspicions but I wasn't going to make an assumptions." He told him, leaning back, folding his arms over his chest to watch him, "There's nothing wrong with that." he told him with a sigh.

He glared at him for a moment before looking away. "So you figured, but felt it would be best not to say something... Thanks...." He didn't think Kyouya would be that considerate, but then again Kyouya wouldn't really have anything to gain by exploiting his sexual orientation. At least that was what he thought. "There isn't really... except for the fact that you watch your friends leave you behind while they find love and you have to sit back and watch."

Kyouya watched him for a second, "If I'd known you'd wanted me to announce I would of told the whole school." He rolled his eyes. It was more to make a point though that he probably didn't actually want him to make a big deal of it. He sighed, leaning back, folding his hands over his lap. "Do don't have to sit back and watch because of that... are you sure you're not the one holding yourself back?" he asked with a small sigh.

"Why would I hold myself back? That sounds pretty stupid to me... It's just a little harder for someone who's into guys that finds a guy that is the same. A smaller pool of fish out there, you know?" He glanced at him again and sat up. "You're the one holding yourself back, Kyouya-senpai... You're letting your Dad govern your hole entire life. How are you supposed to get anyway if you are always following the shadows of your father and brothers?"
