The Real Us (Private)

Kyouya looked up, almost smirking... Almost. "No." He told him simply. "It's my job to notice, someone has to." He told him simply. Not everyone watched people for romantic reasons, the world is that simple." He told him, shaking his head and returning to the computer.

He huffed and shook his head. "Well aren't you a sourpus. Everyone is at some point looking to be romantic with someone. It's human nature, Kyouya-senpai. You can't tell me you have never felt romantic feelings towards anyone.." Leaning his elbow on his knee as he sat, he rested his chin in his hand and looked out the nearby window.

Kyouya smiled a bit at his comment. "Do people?" He sighed, stopping to lean back, folding his arms over his chest. "I can and I am... I've never really thought about it... I have enough to worry about without that. I suppose as some point it might happen." He shrugged, just seemed like a Luxury he didn't have with everything else.

"Haven't thought about it huh..." He sighed and shook his head continuing to look out the window. "Haven't you noticed that this little family that Tamaki-senpai has made up... Some of us are falling for each other..." He glanced towards Haruhi, Hikaru, and Tamaki. He smiled and sat up, leaning back in his chair.

Kyouya raised an eyebrow, "Of course I've noticed." He said simply, glancing at his computer. "It's unfortunate but, when you think about it... unavoidable." He sighed, He'd always expected someday the club would break apart. He supposed he just hadn't wanted to think about it, and that was saying something, not that he was saying it. "But there's nothing you can do to change it so we adjust." He shrugged.

"Doesn't mean we all have to like it either. Especially when there is a few of us being left behind..." He continued to watch Haruhi and Hikaru. Closing his eyes, he sighed softly. He knew it was eventually going to happen, but the whole time he was hoping that it would happen later rather than sooner. Though it appeared that wasn't going to be the case.

Kyouya glanced over at Kaoru. This was getting far to personal for his tastes. "Perhaps not, but it's going to happen so you may as well plan for it." He said, sitting up and starting to type away. He would probably never admit it, maybe even to himself but he had put a lot of himself into the club. Of course he'd planned ahead, thought about what would happen. He was realistic but... he pushed the thoughts away, typing again.

"Oh yeah..." Kaoru glared at him for a long moment and frowned. He was to have an outburst like his brother had back when they visited Haruhi during vacation. She was working at a small hotel and they had all come to visit her. That was when he first started noticing Hikaru's feelings for Haruhi. He stood up quickly and walked out of the room so that he wouldn't do the same. He didn't know why he was so angry at Kyouya, but him barely paying any mind to his words was really getting to him.

Kyouya paused only briefly to watch him walk away before continuing. He sighed, shaking it off as he finished, packing up his stuff. The others were still there, messing around as Haruhi continued to try and leave only to be stopped by someone else. He walked over, joinging them, but more watching for the time being, he wasn't in a huge rush.

He stood outside of the room, leaning against the wall just beside the music room doors. He stared up at the cieling as he listened to all the ruckus inside the room, but he didn't go and join in like he usually did. He glanced at the door as he heard his brother's woods echo in the room. He smiled before slowly coming back in. He gradually joined his brother in teasing Tamaki, but it was all half hearted because his mind was somewhere else.

Kyouya watched, his black folder tucked under his arm. He let in a bit of his own advice when they talked to him until they finally got tired out and everyone started disbanding to head home. He grabbed his stuff, tossing his bag over his shoulder, making sure everything was taken care of before leaving. Finally... he was about to go home, to his peace and quiet, to sleep and not have to listen to the constant pestering. It was alright, even a bit fun... in proportion.

Kaoru was reluctant to go anywhere else but follow Kyouya and yet again he couldn't understand why. He had stayed back when they bothered him with all sorts of questions. He shook his head and waited by the door for his brother, watching Kyouya walk by. He was so very tempted to follow him, but he turned away watching his brother again.

Kyouua glanced back at Kaoru as they made their way down the hall to leave. "Is there something else?" He asked him, glancing back at him as a car pulled up to drive him home. "Still curious about my secrets?" He raised an eyebrow.

Perking up a little bit, he looked at Kyouya with a half smile. "I've always..." He paused for a moment to think of how that would sound and shut his mouth. He thought for a bit longer before grinning. "Yeah, I'm still curious about those secrets." He crossed his arms and glanced over at Hikaru who wasn't paying attention at the moment.

Kyouya watched him, smirking a bit as he fell silent. He sighed? Glancing at the sky for a moment as he thought over what he was considering. "Tomorrow, if you want maybe you could come over for a bit." He offered. His family would be gone so he would have to worry about making a scene in front of them. Why? He wasn't even entirely sure, maybe he was just feeling in a giving mood... Or something like that.

Kaoru was excited for the offer at least for the most part. He wasn't happy about having to wait another day to go over to Kyouya's house, but at least he had offered and he wasn't going to pass up that chance. He nodded quickly as he glanced towards his brother. "I could definitely come over. I won't bring my brother. I'll have him go and visit Haruhi or something."

Kyouya sighed and nodded. This was probably a bad idea, there's a reason he didn't bring people over, but what's the worst that could happen? He didn't intend to actually let him find anything anyway. "Alright then." He nodded before sliding into the car and headed home.

Once Kyouya was out of site and in the car, he turned back to his brother with a grin. He came jogging over and latched onto his brother, bringing him to their car. "Come on. You'll get to play with Haruhi some more tomorrow. Let's get home. We got stuff to do!" He chuckled as his brother glared at him and followed his lead.

Kyouya made his way home. He quickly finished homework before working on other things, mostly the club budget. He went to bed late... Or maybe early before he woke up. He groaned, crawling out of bed and getting dressed, he was rather in filtered before he got to school in the morning.

Kaoru found it very hard to sleep, what with all the thoughts going through his head at the moment. When he was finally able to get some sleep, it was already too late. They both had to get up and go to school. Of course Hikaru was unphased, but he did note that his brother was tired. As they went to school, he got a little more sleep, but as he was walking into the music room, he was yawning.

Kyouya was already on the music room, put together and composed. "Morning." He smiled before going back to the computer. Tamaki was already bouncing happily around the room making no sense... As usual.

Kaoru looked around the room, yawning once more before noting that Haruhi hadn't arrived yet. Of course, just he thought about her, she came through the door and his brother was over at her in an instant along with Tamaki. Kaoru didn't mind though. He just walked over to the couch and sat down. "So what brilliant plan for today was set up?"

Kyouya looked up as the rest of the club filed in. He stood up, folder in hand. He shrugged a bit, glancing at Kaoru. "You mean besides setting up for a European Renaissance theme? Not much." He told him, he liked to spread the themes out so this would be the last in about a weak, but it was one Tamaki had been obsessed with for weeks.

"This should be fun. Do all of the ideas come from Tamaki-senpai or is you who's influencing his choices on the themes?" He glanced over at Kyouya as he spoke to him. It didn't really matter who came with the ideas, but he was curious either way. Today he would spend the day with his brother so that he wouldn't get so upset when he went over to Kyouya's by himself.

Kyouya nodded a bit, smirked a bit at the question. "Mostly? They come from me... every not and then Tamaki gets an idea in his head he can't shake so we go with it but no... I usually help him." He told him simply with a shall shrug, looking up as the props started coming in.
