Lol, with a 12, I'd say that if someone is really interested in giving an insight check, they can find out that he's full of shit and only in it for the money, otherwise, sure, he's here to help people, though, even with that, it's obvious the helping isn't coming from the kindness of his heart lol

I wish D&D had passive insight just like perception. It always made sense to me that people could detect blatant lies without having to actively guard themselves.

Anyways, last week was incredibly busy. Worked a lot of late shifts (so much so that my supe gave me a free day off this week) and was air crew for an AWACS mission last Thursday. I'll get a post up tonight.

I'm sad to hear what's going on with your family Atraxaisbae . I know how hectic these things can be. Hopefully things are calming down now for you and your family.

Actually, I think I will have passive insight... it'll be calculated the same as passive perception... it'll be used for situations like this, where someone does a charisma roll of some sort, if the roll is lower than the passive insight, depending on how low the roll, will determine how much the person picks up, and then they can roll insight for more detail

It's definitely the character background quest that I have the most developed idea for, but I'm definitely going to bring the other character backstory quests up to par with it so that Praela doesn't seem like the "main character" of the group were we looking at this from a novel perspective lol
