The Prince and the Peasant

"Real mother's? So, you don't live with your birth mother?" Michael asked curiously.

"So, your brother is ill and your sister likes dresses?" Michael asked confirming that he understood what she had meant before.

"I see." Michael thought for a moment before he heard Freud.

"Michael." Feud called, Michael rolled his eye.

"Damn it." he snapped, before turning o find Freud was already to close for him to do anything.

"What do you think you are doing?" Freud snapped.

"I was thinking I had escaped you."

"You have missed half a days lessons and your parents departure. As prince, you should take more care in your studies then sneaking off."

"I just want time to myself, is that so hard to ask for?"

"As the next king, yes." Freud snapped.

Celia's eyes widened and she dipped into a clumsy curtsy. "F-f-forgive m-me, Your H-Highness," Celia stuttered nervously.

Michael looked at Celia, "Now see what you've done."he snapped at Freud, before placing his hand on Celia's shoulder, "Please don't do that. My parents keep me locked in that castle and everyone not knowing my face is the only good thing about that."

Michael smiled, "Please stop calling me that. I like when you call me Mike. And technically I didn't mention it to you, so it wasn't your ignorance." he looked down at her with an honest grin, "I would like if you could keep this our little secret."

Michael smiled, "I have to go." he regretted that fact, before turning to Freud, "I bough all these for dinner, can you at least make sure they get to the kitchen while I'm stuck inside."

Freud raised his eyebrow slightly looking from Michael to Celia, "As you wish." he stated.

Michael smiled back at Celia, leaning in slightly to whisper, "I'll see you ago, don't forget. You can't tell anyone I'm the prince and you can't bow to me again."

Michael smiled, "I meant it when I said it was good bread." she told her, before letting her shoulder go, as he went to follow Freud. Freud motioned a pair of guards to take the bread as Michael and Freud walked to the carriage.

Michael sighed, as class ended and he was expected to eat with Freud in the garden where he would be lectured.

Celia went home and made dinner for her brother, sister, and herself. Her sister was out, probably stay out for some time. Celia expected a scolding from her sister for not making the food later.

Michael rolled his eyes, as he ate, listening to Freud's proper prince speech for the hundredth time and wishing that he could sneak out and see Celia rather then stay here with Freud,

Celia sat by her brother's side when she heard her sister get home. As expected, she got a scolding. Her sister dragged her out of the room, so her brother wouldn't be able to stop them.
