SITUATION AS IS
As we are right now, the situation has reached a bit of stability. A plateau of activity as it were.
As for the Syndicate, they have acquired defined territory and can respond worldwide. They have also initiated testing on anomalous materials, and are starting to gain a basic understanding of the world around them. They currently hold Areas 1-4, various locations around the United States to meet the various needs of the Syndicate.
Area 1- Primary research and processing. Here, new materials are brought and assessed, if something needs to be moved to more specialized storage or more intense testing, they are sent to one of the other Areas.
Area 2- Temporal Research. This is where things that break time and or space are kept and tested. The location of this Area seems to lend itself to stricter time space maintenance. Time just seems more stubborn there.
Area 3- Humanoid Housing and Research. This is where humans possessing or possessed by supernatural phenomenon. Security here is more strict, as subjects tend to not take to imprisonment well.
Area 4- Inert Objects Storage. Here, things that are not dangerous unless manipulated or interacted with are kept. There are plenty of inert objects at Area 1, however the effects of the objects are harmless and/or beneficial to the Syndicate.
CHAOS has become widespread enough to itself have some stability and range of operation. Though each cell operates independently without any rigid rank or command structure, they do meet regularly and share information. Their favorite meeting place is McDonald's, as they are everywhere in the US and free WiFi and cheap food are good for a tight budget. Their militant branch has acquired enough arms and munitions to arm it's members to the point where they are all armed, albeit not to a standard and not always what they choose. Their hackers have just set up a social media movement the "Is That Real?" meme, photographing Syndicate members and operations with the caption Is That Real?. The memes are usually promptly taken down, but in such a volume that some are seen by random internet users. These operations are not as costly as their Engineering branch which Jua Kali's enclosures and makeshift reserves for their liberated friends. You Dig?
