Realistic or Modern The New Teen Titans!

Jace took the lead box and placed it in his utility belt. He looked up at Damien and just nodded. He'd proven something just now but he wasn't sure what it was. Was it his selflessness as he tried to save Conner? Was it his preparedness for having the kryptonite? Or was it something different? Jace couldn't tell but he knew he'd know the answer soon enough. Jace looked at Conner and saw how he was walking and he draped Conner's arm over his shoulder helping Conner stand better.

"Are you ok?" Jace asked. It was a stupid question but Jace felt it was the question Conner cared about.

Vincent ran over to them. He winked at Jace and shout whispered,"You where brave out there." Sparrow didn't have direct eye contact with either Jace or Conner so Jace wasn't quite sure if Vincent was talking to him or the wounded boy. He didn't respond and hoped that Conner would.

Omega woke up to the feeling of the relaxing glow of huntress suit. It was the only thing keeping him awake with the heavy repairs his nanobots were preforming. "Omega was not reckless, I just didn't know about his spear." When he looked up Robin, Nightwing, Superman, Superwoman, and teen lantern was gone.

He turn to ravager who was having a good old time but his attention was most on huntress she has been by his side the most and has helped him the most.

Ravager had a huge smile on her face. She really enjoyed that fight. But she was also proud at robin and Huntress for helping their teammates.

The remaining kids left was ink spectrum and sonic

Ink never came down from the roof, Sonic was still feeling emotional

Lastly it was getting late

"If any of you want to spar each other now or somebody tomarrow just let me know. But it's getting late so i am going to turn everyone over to Nightwing and Supergurl"

Then she jumped down and explain what she said to them both.

As he was making his way out of the room, to his surprise Robin had showed and up and helped him once more. Robin's assistant helped Connor balance himself and walk much easier since he had someone to lean on. His hazel gaze still focused on the floor, his mind aloof as his body was exploding in bit of pain. His head felt heavy and he was sure that the gash on his head had opened more. Are you okay? What a stupid question, he thought bitterly, do I look okay! Biting his tongue he decided best not to answer or even say a word in case he retorted out of anger. He sealed his much tighter in Sparrow came up to them. He ignored him too and kept walking with Robins help until he was out of the room.

Ari followed Robin and Connor. Believe it or not, she is a kind soul. She wanted to help in any way she could. She placed his other arm around her neck, his hand brushing the feathers that plated her wings. She continued walking. "We should find somewhere he can rest safely." She said, looking around. She hadn't the foggiest clue where to go.

Kisii shook her head a light laugh escaping her. With her unoccupied hand she reached up to push her hat back. She had been partially paying attention to the match going on and realized that there were actually quite a few ferocious fighters on the team. In retrospect Teen Lantern and Superman would make a good team. With a bit more honing the willpower the Lantern exhibited as well as his creativeness would prove useful and when paired with the new Man of Steel's strength if he could keep his temper in check, they would make one formidable combination. Tactical mindset working she realized that perhaps there had been some usefulness to this whole sparring situation other than getting the team to blow off steam. If they were thinking quickly enough and paying enough attention they would be able to better figure out the dynamics of who would work best with who to the maximum benefit. But that was for later right now there were more important things at hand.

"Never underestimate an opponents arsenal... But your replication skills are very good..."

She patted the top of his head fondly before standing. She unclasped her cloak, pulling it down as the fabric began to glow a faint golden hue. She draped it around Omega so that UMBRAs repair protocols could work over his entire body. Besides there was one more thing she wanted to do before leaving the training room. She exited the back room and moved into the training room walking up behind Ravager and the other three mentors. She cleared her throat to get their attention waiting until Ravager turned to speak.

"I want another match tomorrow...but this time with Superman... It'll give me a chance to give UMBRA a real work out..."

Without waiting for a response she turned holding her hand up in an absent wave. Exiting the training room she returned to Omega. It was getting late and both would need to rest, the android especially since he had a lot more repairing to do. Not feeling up to the bother of assisting the boy at a slow limp to wherever they would be going to rest she simply knelt and picked him up. Heading out of the training room she glanced at him.

"Don't think this is gonna keep happening kid..."

Omega smile, "After your fight with superman... Omega will carry you."

Her cloak's healing was strong enough for him to override his nanobots.

*Replicate*

He summoned sparrows dagger

"This device that almost did me in"

Once they were out of the room and into the hallway, his hazel gaze glanced at an open door way which lead into a type of living room area. He made his way to that room with the aid of both Robin and Sonic, good thing they are helping me... I probably would have fallen by now... My head hurts way too much. Connor let himself plop onto the soft couch, letting out a sigh of relief. In a small gleam of green light his uniform disappeared, revealing his normal clothes.

"Thanks guys," he muttered softly as he looked away from them and toward the great glass window that made up one of the walls of the room.

"No Jon! You guys are no experiment, You the next generation of heroes and you need to learn how to be one!" She used her X-ray vision to find Conner. She then pointed a finger with her pointer finger. "Use X-ray vision Jon...Look how bad you hurt him." She then faced Jon. "He is only a recruit in the green lantern corps. He is a cake walk for you Dammit. He may have hurt you but that's a team mate. Under stand that we are all powerful, When Luther would say Clark was a god...He was being honest, We could destroy this building easy. If that rage would ever consume you Jon..." She adverted her head not wanting to say it. "You must never let it take over or you will be put down, Possibly permanently."

Jace sat next to Conner and rubbed his back. He saw the horrible gash on the back of Conner's head. Jace removed his green glove and he touched it. The blood there was sticky and starting to dry. It had started to clot. Thank god. He looked at Sparrow.

"Vincent go find me a first aid kit. We have to bandage this. I also need some rubbing alcohol. We don't want this to get infected," Jace said. worried about his partner's well being. Sparrow knelt next to Conner and pulled his hood off and looked at the gash.

"You sure he doesn't need stitches? That Gash is pretty deep," Vincent replied looking over at Jace.

"Field first aid isn't really my thing Vincent. I have no idea," Jace replied. He patted Conner's back and got up and whispered in Conner's ear,"I'm gonna go get Nightwing." And with that Jace was out the door and looking for Damien.

Connor flinched slightly as Jace brushed against his gash on the back of his head, if anything his head was where the majority of the pain stemmed from. There was a sharp annoying pitch in his left ear that kept ringing, making it much harder to hear and pay attention. As his teammates moved around him, Connor remained quiet, he just really wanted to sleep, but he didn't want to bother moving. He had pains all over now restricting his movements, he was sure he at least injured a rib or something.

Ari looked at the cut. 'This is simple for my people." She said. "But it seems it is very deep. Let me help." She said, picking up the rubbing alcohol. "We need to clean it first, then stich it, then bandage it." She said, gathering the materials. She had to learn how to patch herself up because going to a hospital would land her in a testing facility.

"Connor I know you hurt. Believe it or not I've been through worse scraps. Mostly metahuman street crime and drug dealer," Sparrow said noticing that Conner was started to nod off.

"Whoa dude! You can't sleep with a concussion," Sparrow blurted out turning Conner's body towards his,"You might never wake up. You can't sleep. Not yet. You have to wait till we figure out all your injuries."

Ari looked up at him. "I can fix the cut. Ribs will take time. As I gather, a long time for you humans." She said, looking at Conner. "You will have to bare with the pain, you will not want to sleep though this." She said. She picked up a damp paper towel and began cleaning the surrounding area. She then rubbed rubbing alcohol on it to keep it from getting infected.

Wincing at the application of the burning alcohol, Connor bit his lower lip. The pain didn't stop since Sparrow suddenly shook him wide awake, "I wasn't going to fall asleep..." He muttered. Turning to face Sonic he replied, "Don't worry about my ribs, they'll be fine in no time. Its not the first time I fractured one, its just everything else included..."

Ari smiled. "Call me Ari. It rolls off the tongue easier." She said. "And for me, broken ribs took thirty minutes." She said, threading the needle. She began stitching the large gash. She grimaced. It must have hurt for a human. She finished as quickly as possible. When she finished she quickly wrapped the bandages around his head.

"Thanks." He said with a sigh as his gaze flickered to his ring. Next time I'll just have to try harder... "I guess we all can't be fast healers," he chimed in as awkwardly sat. This was one bad first day, being beaten to a pulp was not how he imagined it especially being beat by a teammate. Connor wondered how long it would take until he was fully healed, probably not long but he could manage well enough after his dam head stopped aching. Wonder how Jon is doing.

(Gosh, you guys have no idea how busy I've been... SUPER sorry I haven't been here, but I was doing so many things I couldn't even get online to warn you... I'm back now, though, and hopefully I won't be going anywhere for awhile ^^ Also, I'm not 100% sure what's going on exactly...)

Inkhearst had been roaming the halls of the Tower, curious as to what exactly each room was for. She stopped, however, when she spotted an open door. Inside, Connor lay, obviously injured, with Ari and Sparrow attending his wounds. Ink walked up to the doorway, and said "Um.. hello..? Do you need help? Er... is this a bad time...?"

Ari smiled. "Your welcome. I got used to patching stupid injuries after... well I would not want to burden you." She said, looking away. She spotted Ink at the door. "No. I just finished stitching him up." She said. She looked out the window. She sighed. "The weight of memories never leaves you...." She muttered.

"Don't talk about me like I'm a sick animal, alright." I said not even bothering to look through my xray vision, Because I knew how badly I had hurt him "I lost my cool in there, I understand that. But don't say I didn't warn you when this whole project backfires on you three." With that, I finished cleaning my cuts, slipped my shirt back on and walked off towards the exit of the tower.

Connor slowly rose to his feet, he did not want to just mope around. Grimacing slightly as pain pierced through him like a needle due to his injured rib, he steadied himself and managed to keep balance. "Thanks again Ari," he said once more with a light smile. Shifting his direction, he noticed that Robin hadn't returned yet, he had to seriously thank him for saving his ass. He spotted Ink entering the room, I wonder where she was? He questioned lightly before slowly walking forward to the window, a hint of pain with each step.

"Well now you know about it so nexxt time you'll be more prepared... I suppose there is no better way to gauge someone else's potential then to experience it first hand..."

She studied the dagger in Omega's hand for a moment. He really did have rather excellent replication skills and with a bit more practice on his methods could prove to be quite a bit more formidable. A small smile played on her lips bothh at her own statement and his. She was intending to take her own advice and that was why she had requested the match with Superman. She wanted to see just how good he was and the best way to do that was up close and personal. Just the thought of the match-up excited her, she wouldn't dream of powering UMBRA down for that one. She carried Omega in to what she supposed was a common area sitting him down still wrapped in her cloak, on a couch.

"If you have to carry me after the match I'll consider us more than even..."

Kisii chuckled, shaking her head as she moved towards the window.

His white eye glowed, *Copied* "Optimal carrying method recognized," he joked.

He looked at his body... If only he had not been damaged before the fight, he would be fine right now. The only thing that was keeping him down was the blood lost he did not know that. Something like that took time. He made attempts to get up but his body was not responded. After a few more attempts gave up.

He though about her words though:

She said if i carry her after her match tomorrow and she even jumped down to talk to Ravager. Who did she want to fight. Not to mention she did all of this after the fight between Teen Lantern and Superman... When he woke up the whole team was caring for Him. OH NO DX

He wiggled around one more time but his body still wouldn't move. "Huntress," he called out, "Your not fighting Superman tomorrow are you? I did not see it but my analysis show he is very powerful... and he can really hurt you."

"Yes I am..and yes I know..."

She turned a smile on her face. She walked back across the room and sat down on the couch behind him. She leaned back on the couch crossing her legs as she tilted her head to look at him. She was well aware of the damage that Superman could do to an opponent. She had seen the Teen Latern after the match. But she'd seen worse, her hand absently moved up to her cheek trailing her thumb across the puckered scar. Her golden eyes flashed briefly. Besides since she had melded fully to UMBRA she hadn't been able to try out exactly what her limits were. She reached up and chuckled running her hand up to run her fingers around the brim of her hat.

"But what fun is there in life without a little danger...?"

Omega heard Mother and his friend state that last line all the time. So he did not know how to respond. All he knew was fear. The fear of losing another friend, another person close to him. So much time has past since his injury and the sparing. To Omega, it seemed like days. He cycled through his head think of ways to get her to back down but nothing came to mind. All that came to mind was death. Her death to be exact.

This body was mostly finished with the repairs. He could feel less of the nanobots painful presences. He turned away from huntress and thought up a lie remembering Sparrow's words, "If he hurts you... Omega will terminate him." Then he tossed the blade with enough force for to piece the ground and stand up.

Omega was an expert at scare tactics. His ability to use his opponents strength against them, his lineage, and weaponry was a powerful kit could easily overwhelm opponents, but it was his words that held the most powers. They where emotionless and cold. The kind of words you would only hear from someone who lacked value for human life. This time was different. Omega heart was beating fast, his right eye glowed purple. As those last 3 words rolled off his tongue, his bluffed... became his promise.

Kismet raised an eyebrow. It was an unusual occurrence for anyone to feel so vehemently about her well being. Even she didn't feel that way. It was not that she did not value her own life. She was not willing to die for no real reason. It was more so that she thought differently about her own death than most. She didn't regard her own demise with fear or trepidation, only as an inevitability of a life lived on the battlefield. She would do what was in her power to live on, but if the day came when her best was not enough then that would be the end of that. She stood crouching to grab the dagger from where it was sunken into the floor. A smooth tug sufficed to remove the blade and she stood, flipping it lightly in her hand.

Walking over to Omega she smiled patting the boys head comfortingly. She was not upset. She was pleased to see that he cared enough for a person he had recently made friends with to be willing to terminate a person for hurting them. She handed over the dagger chuckling softly as she smiled at him.

"If he hurts me I'll make sure to hurt him just as badly... If he kills me...then you can terminate him... But until then have faith in me eh...? I'm a lot tougher than I look..."
