Realistic or Modern The New Teen Titans!

Sparrow and Jace where preoccupied making out in one of the many long hallways in the tower. Sparrow had pinned Jace up against the wall and they'd been feverishly going at it since they ran into each other on the way to the combat room.

"You're so hot," Sparrow whispered into Jace's ear taking a playful nibble on his ear lobe. Jace smiled and kissed sparrow's neck.

"We should get going...I bet we're the only ones not at the assembly," Jace whispered snickering a little.

"Why are you such a goody two shoes now? Falcon was so willing to break the rules. What happened?" Sparrow asked planting a kiss on the side of Jace's neck.

"I became a Robin," Jace whispered into sparrows ear,"Now you have to be the one corrupt me again and I know you can do it."

"Like this," Sparrow whispered loudly grabbing Jace's crotch and giving it a playful squeeze.

"Hold your horses bronco...let's not do this right now in a hallway. We need to get going or we're gonna late. We'll have time to do this later. My room midnight. Be there. I'll keep the door unlocked."

"Naughty, naughty," Sparrow said kissing Jace's lips,"Guess I'm already corrupting you."

And with that the boys stopped fooling around in the hallways and headed to the Combat room, late I might add. Everyone was already there.

"Oops," Jace said leaning against the back wall. He planned on observing all of his teammates and not just the fights.

Ari drew the sound to her hands. First she sent a blast Ink's way, the sound defining the room. She smiled looking at the teal balls of energy that were now hurtling towards Ink. She took this opportunity to jump into the air. She felt the power surge in her as she jumped up into the sky. She was prepared to land on Ink when she recovered from the two blast from earlier.

When her ink had been shattered, it was no longer mobile, and was spilt to the ground, staining the floors. Though dazed from the sound, Inkhearst "pulled" the ink from the ground and turned it into a black mace, however not fully hardening the points so that swinging it towards Ari wouldn't kill her. Ink's head was pounding from the noise, but she was able to give her a good whack to the side, as she turned the ink into a liquid once more, preparing to change her weapon if necessary.

Ari got whacked t.o the side, but flipped and landed on her feet, sending a blast Ink's way. She stood her ground and sucked in a breath, screaming her lungs out as the energy ball was sent toward Ink. She had natural protectors on her ears, but she could hear the dull sound of her scream as she aimed at Ink.

The blast had knocked Ink to the ground, leaving her deaf for a few minutes, as she decided to try an attack that honestly she really hated doing. She turned her entire body into a black inky blob as she seeped in the ground, appearing as only a black spot on the floor. From here, she was able to sneak up behind Sonic and grab her from behind. From there, she seeped into her clothing, contemplating a plan.

Sonic looked at her clothing as it turned black. She could feel the unknown body of fluid inside the fabric. Ink had been absorbed inside her clothing. Ink could probably feel the power from her skin. It vibrated like a computer when the energy was running though her. She had curved lines running down her sides. They represented that she was gifted with the power of song. Everyone was given marks at the age of 5. There mark was revealed at the full moon on the 6th moth. That was the last time she saw her family. Now every time she looked in the mirror, she wanted to chuck a rock at it. She inhaled, the energy buzzing to such high levels that it was producing mass amounts of heat and a distinct whining sound.

Ink could feel Ari's clothing and body producing heat, though it gave her an idea as she pretended to boil and melt away from the clothes and onto the floor. She planned on faking her out, and then coming back with a counter attack.

Ari felt her dripping out of her clothing as the energy cooled down. She immediately jumped off the floor and to the other side of the arena. She wasn't going to get anywhere close to that stuff. She knew that it could do something to her, but she wasn't exactly sure what it was, but her voice could break it. She waited, wanting to see what she would do.

From here, she split herself apart into three different blobs; the middle turned into Inkhearst herself, as she lifted the other two with each hand, each blob forming a sword. She hurled them towards Ari, one hitting her left arm, and one hitting her right leg.

Connor partially watched the match that was going on, his mind elsewhere. Though when he was focused on the spar, the teen lantern was surprised to see how well Ink was holding off against Ari, he expected less since there powers didn't mix well in theory. His hazel gaze flickered from the arena to the door, noticing Robin and Sparrow entering late, of course they'd be late. Shifting his attention back to the match, he watched and waited to see who would make the next move.

Ari dodged the slices, jumping into the air. She landed gracefully on her feet on the other side. She looked across the arena at Ink. She was strong but relatively passive against her. She smiled and hit the ground, the energy pulsing though the ground and causing a large ripple like effect. She could use her surroundings to her advantage and keep jumping in the air.

Damian watched the match tell he grew tired off the two fighting, There were evenly match. He turned on the loud speaker and said "Match Complete, Tie." Damian then walked from out of the control room and meet up with them all. "Okay Gang, Today is your first mission." He said with no facial expression.

"ORACAL, She them the mission layout on the monitor." He ordered.

"Understood." The ORACAL program said. The monitor then turned on a showed a there first mission.

"This is the target or I should say Targets. Two of them are being shipped in 3 days to a local king pin. My resources had told me that there is a 80% chance these are blank models. Meaning they will not already have preset powers. As far as I know they will pop up at these two Warehouses. They seem to be kept separated encase there shipment is interfered which it will."
Damian told them. "Okay, Team, You have 3 days to prep, On Monday the 20th, Your mission will be a go. Be awake by 7:15 Am. You will go this alone. Since it is a only a Android lethal force is allowed." He then turned off monitor. "Any questions?"

  • Amazo ,Professor Ivo's Amazing Android, A creation by the late Professor Ivo. These Androids special ability is to replicate the special abilities of various superheroes and supervillains it comes into contact with. The Amazo Android has permanently replicated the powers and abilities of the original Justice League member making him a very powerful adversary. These member include Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter. Amazo has also demonstrated using the abilities of Atom and Elongated Man and Black Canary. This Android has even been able to replicate items as well such as Wonder Woman's lasso and a Green Lantern power ring. Professor Ivo's Amazo androids uses "absorption cells" to duplicate the powers of super powered beings making this all possible. All versions have been show to retain the base abilities of the five super-powered members of the Justice League that it first encountered.

    Threat Level: High

Omega stared at Nightwing with a blank stare. The idea of fighting an android with the same power as him felt almost like an insult. To add insult to injury, his name was Amazo. Really...

Omega pretend to laugh, "Nightwing sir, Omega means no harm but... how come Omega has never heard of such technology." He did not believe the mission, and felt the idea was just insulting. He knew he had brothers and sisters who had similar powers build by Mother, but he was not aware of other scientist building a android to such a level.

He started walking out the room, "Omega wishes to finish his room set up, call Omega when we are being serious."

"Uh...yeah no offence, Mr Nightwing, sir" I said with a slight hint of sarcasm as I stood up "But you so called 'Mentors' haven't taught us jack shit yet and you already want us to go on a mission? What a god damn waste of time."

"I wouldn't be surprised if some of us die... And not fighting that Amazo thing or whatever..."

Kisii shook her head, running her fingers around the brim of her hat. The whole thing seemed insane. To have a team that barely got along with each other go on a mission to kill some random replicating android with the replicated powers of this planets Justice League. If that thing didn't kill of some of them they would surely do it themselves with fighting between them or bad decisions. They had no formal training as a team, no set form of leadership, and only three days to prepare. Now she remembered why she worked alone. Far less stupid shit happened. Rubbing the back of her head she she paced the length of the back room.

"I'm going to go train unless there is something of actual importance happening here..."

Ari stood up, brushing a lock of hair out of the way. She listened to the words he said. She smiled. "Well he hasn't copied my power yet so this should be interesting." She mumbled, thinking about the situation. She sighed and looked around at the room. The floor was a bit damaged from that last attack she had thrown, but it was pretty intact. She stepped out of the ring, her muscles relaxing. She stretched, doing a few flips before walking to the door. "I would go take a rest to let everything sink in." She said, calmly.

Nightwing smiled as the seemingly cocking children talk this fearsome android down like it wasn't a threat. "Omega you never heard of such of tech because you were to caught up in your little world thinking you were...What the word I'm looking for, Original." He said with a smug smirk. "I am but if you weren't created to handle such a thing it's fine by me. Amazo might have turned you to scraps anyway." He then turn to Superman.

"Superboy, Do you think i don't know what I'm doing. I fought this thing with a team before and there was 6 of us...But we were fighting one of them but still we did it and it wasn't a blank model (80%) like the ones I told you about so just don't use a power you don't want him to have...Like flight, Super strength or Heat vision."
He said with a chuckle.

He did agree with Shadow's comment but that was the reason he 'Found' this mission. "I agree, This will help each team bond. I promise you this. I think you kids don't even trust me, Is that true?" He asked not really caring if they did. If they find out what would happen, They would most likely hate him.

"You guys talk like this isn't important, If these things get to there destination they will be sicked on some poor meta human kids and mimic there powers and kill them. Then they shall go and gain more power and then this city will be ruled by a damn crime boss. Then they will blame you guys for this screw up. I don't care what they say about me for letting this happen, Half of them think I'm a dick anyway."
He then smiled as Ari. "Only Sonic seems to be walking this suicide mission...Mean regular mission." He sad jokingly.

He then turned to the rest of the team. "You guys still up for this." He also looked a ravager to see how she felt about it. He gave her a wink to let her know he has a plan.

@Liir Ko

Connor was suprised that Nightwing was giving them such a grand mission for their first mission. Amazo? And this android copies superpowers, great. Connor didn't say anything, he didn't feel like arguing with his mentor. He had to have some reason for giving them this suicide mission. Rising from his seat, Teen Lantern walked over to lean on a wall closer to Nightwing to hear anymore instructions he might have. At least the mission was a couple days away; more time for him to heal properly.

Kisii stopped in the doorway turning back to face Nightwing. Her bored expression developing slightly into something else, in to an expression that resembled shock. She stood with on hand on the doorway and the other over her heart. Her eyes were slightly wide as she stared first at the floor then at the absolute nothingness of the wall. It seemed as if she was confused as if she was trying to figure something out. When she spoke it was in a hushed almost confused to tone.

"I think... I think I might be... Is it possible... Am I actually giving a care... Nope... Just a momentary irregularity in my heartbeat... Well if nothing happens in the next three days I look forward to seeing how this goes..."

Her voice had morphed from confusion to her usual languid tone, her expression returning to it's steady neutrality. Still a small smile curved her lips as she passed through the door on her way to the roof. Yawning slightly she headed down the hall. She actually didn't care one way or another. If anything this mission would just add another opportunity for her to gather information on the team.

Ravager was debating the mission in her head. Amazo was not a tool to be underestimated. Although she never fought him herself, but the fight between Omega and Sparrow showed an good example of what would happen when someone underestimates a mimic. There is danger in not knowing what and how an enemy can use your own tactics against you. With it being a blank model though, It should be beatable by these teens if they work together. As she was thinking Nightwing wink at her, she new it was safe.

"Nightwing, i think these kids are just too scared to be heroes and want to cry back to their parents when the going gets tough," she smiled as she walked up to the middle of the room, "I'm sure they do not wish to die over something petty, and if they do then that is their life." She did not really mean that. She too was betrayed by her teammates. Her hope was to get them provoke them to want to take the mission.

Omega Stopped behind the wall as Nightwing made his comment about him. The word original took his attention. Mother created him as her best invention, he had every pro of all his 23 brothers and sisters. There was no other creation like him. He was not a robot but a human. He had his own mind. He had his own will. This android Amazo could not be better than him, even if he did come first. His mind filled with the thought of something being better than Mother. Then he walked away from the room.

He waited till Huntress left the room and walked up to her. "Huntress, Omega thinks we can beat this wanna be on our own. Lets team up and terminate him tonight." His right eye glowed purple, and replicated a small drill over his hand.

Michael got up from the wall and put his hands in pocket. He looked at all the member of the new Titans and sniggered. Hmm... Amazo. Sounds like a difficult challenge. I like it. It is something different. When Michael first became Spectrum, he fought thugs and petty thieves. He had only a hand full of instances where he fought any top name villians. This would be a change of pace. He proceeded to walk up to Nightwing and say,"I'm in. I'll fight Amazo. "

Seeing that Nightwing was basically done briefing them on their mission to come, Connor decided to leave the infamous combat room, he had three days to kill doing absolutely nothing. His dull hazel gaze spotted Omega and Huntress a bit down the hall, Wonder what they are up to? Shrugging it off, Teen Lantern walked passed them heading to elevator.

"Might as well stay in my room," he muttered with a light yawn escaping his mouth. "I could use more sleep." Connor disappeared behind the closing elevator doors and tapped onto his room floor. Smoothly, the doors opened and he made his way through the hall before finally entering his room.

Ari saw Connor enter his room. She sighed and looked back in front of her and entered her own room. She sighed and shut the door. She grabbed some t-shirt and some pants. She went to shower. She looked at the bathroom. There were a couple different handles. She tried a few things before getting it right. She took a shower and changed out of her suit. She sighed and hung her uniform back up. She put on the pendant again, looking at the pale gem.

Jace rolled his eyes behind his mask. Ever since he'd shown up and seen how hotheaded some of these teens were pissed him off. Sure he was hotheaded at the beginning but he always kinda had a temper. If he was irritated or pissed at you he had no problem showing it. The only two people besides him and Vincent that seemed to show the mentors any respect were Ari and Conner. He liked them, they both seemed nice and both had a level heads and listened. Omega was all over the place with his emotions. Shadow Huntress was a B-I-T-C-H who thought she was entitled to everything because she came from some secret dimension, big whoop. Then there was the new Superman who we all know is just still a fearful boy attempting to fill un-fillable shoes and throwing temper tantrums when he couldn't do it. Then there was ink. She was shy and pretty powerful. Jace wasn't sure how he felt about her yet. Jace squeezed Vincent's hand tightly and the two of them left the room.

I sighed, and walked out not saying anything more to Nightwing. There was no point in arguing with someone who clearly thought that he had everything figured out, that nothing could go wrong. I was not so optimistic. I walked back to probably my favorite place in the tower, the edge, near the top where you could look out over the city. I sat with my legs dangling over the side precariously and observed what was happening below.
