Realistic or Modern The New Teen Titans!

Ari got up and walked inside. She sat down next to Michael. "Hey." She said. folding her arms over her knees and pacing her head on her hands. She grumbled as she thought of Robin. She sighed. She hated that selfish bastard and was ready to see him get his butt handed to him. She wished she could be in there to bend him over backwards and show him what it was like to be able to do that without hurting yourself. Of course, he would probably break his back.

"Hey" Michael said as he looked at her. " You alright?" He crossed his arm. He could see that she looked agitated like someone pissed her. If that is true, it was probably one of those recruits that went off on there own.

"I would be if our stupid asshole of a leader would have been generous enough to not make me want to send him to the moon." Ari said, glaring at the fighting arena. She hated that stupid, stuck up, prick with all her might. She wanted to make him into an ant and squish him under her shoe, then vaporize him.

Michael looked at the arena and looked at Robin. "That guy is our leader? I thought it would have been Shadow Huntress." He looked back at her again. "Don't worry about him. If he is a asshole, He won't be the leader for long. "

Ari laughed for a second. "Yeah. But he caused me to yell out something very personal that he is probably going to wave in my face now." Ari said. She grumbled, looking at the arena again. "He is just so, irritating. He thinks he is better than all of us without giving us a chance." Ari said. She hated that guy.

"If tries to use your personal life against you, I will be right by your side backing you up." Michael said with a grid. "He is not going to bully comrade."

Ari smiled. "Thanks." She said, calmly looking at him. He was nice at the least. Everyone else had bushed her aside and moved on. It wasn't her fault that her planet hated her. It wasn't her fault that she had to leave her family behind. It wasn't her fault that she could never see them again. As she though about her home, tears began to pool up in her eyes. She rested her head back on her knees, softly crying into her arms.

"No problem." Michael said.

Michael had joined the Teen Titan to help pay for his crimes. He thought it would be like joining the army but, it wasn't at least not let. It felt more like a reality show with people in costumes. It was sort of weird but, he doesn't regret joining. He met a new ally. Plus being on this team will help him make a bigger difference on this world.

"Hm?" He notice that Ari emotion had changed. " Is there something else that is wrong?

Ari didn't say anything. Memories flooded thought her head, making it hard to breathe, let alone speak. She took in a shaky breath, her tears still flowing. She sobbed softly into her arms, missing her home. They all had there things, but she was forced to leave her friends who always supported her, her siblings that looked up to her, and her parents that thought that she was now dead, for a life with an asshole. She continued crying, her tears not stopping.

I saw the one girl, Ari I think she said her name was, start to....cry it seemed. I was about to go over and ask her what exactly the problem was, when I noticed the other guy sitting beside her. "I'm sure he can handle it" I thought as I turned my attention back to the fight.

Ari stayed there. She seemed to have rendered him speechless. She continued to cry. She tried to dry her eyes, but the tears kept falling. She continued trying to rub the tears away with no prevail. She tried to make no noise as the fight went on. She felt totally useless now. She was trying to be as inconspicuous as possible, but it wasn't working very well.

Eventually I could see the guy next to Ari clearly wasn't handling the situation very well. I went over to her and sat next to her. All I said was "I'm listening" hoping she realized I was simply giving her a chance to say it out loud to somebody. It being whatever was bothering her.

Ari blinked away some of her tears. "W-w-well it's mostly my home planet." She said, her tears starting to flow again. She missed everyone, but she could never go back to her. She hated that. Her entire planet hated her. She began to cry again. Stupid memories. She put her head back on her arms, hiding her face.

"Keep going" I said with gentle encouragement "Sometimes holding it all in is when it gets to you, when it starts to eat away at you from the inside. You need to let it out." I gave her a small smile to try and make her feel a little more comfortable.

"I had to leave everyone behind. My friends, family, just because of my stupid powers." Ari said though her tears. She hated the way she was looked at. Sure it seemed cool to have powers, but when everyone hates you for it, it's not as fun. Her tears kept falling as she wiped away the ones on her cheeks. She hated this.

Robin wasn't surprised that Ravager had said that he and shadow huntress would be the fight to spar the combat room. He wasn't nervous one bit. He'd fought men who used lethal guns before and he new that every form of armor had a weak spot.

He self taught himself combat at Falcon but he wasn't Falcon anymore. He was Robin, trained by the world's greatest detective. He knew what he he was doing and he was 99.9% positive he was going to win.

His suit was a lightweight shock absorbent bullet proof Kevlar. He had his utility belt with his, batons, his tasers, his smoke bombs, and his grapples. He also had his wit, his acrobatics, and his martial arts knowledge. Shadow Huntress was going down.

Robin cracked his neck and his knuckled and did a back handspring into the ring.

Omega walked into the room as robin leaped into the arena. He felt bad because all of this started because of him. Never the less he was curious about this sparing idea of Ravager. His abilities rely on coping others. which was way easier when he was not in combat. He walked to the edge on the room only to hit a window. He rubbed his noise and pushed against the window. His copy abilities only work if he see the the person or device without anything in between. He turn to Ravager but she was already ready to respond.

"No Omega you may not leave this room, at least until its your turn to fight. I'm sure your other teammates would not like their abilities being copied with there permission," she respond effortlessly. Then she turned to Ahri, "Sonic your situation is indeed bad but everyone here has had it rough. I don't think anyone does not wish to go back home to see their friends and family. A lot of have lost or even killed our love ones because of our powers. Never the less, If you want to be a Titan you have to remain strong." Then she patted her on the head, "Your teammates are gonna need you to be there rock, and your enemies are gonna use anything to hurt you."

Then she turn to Boy of Steel, "I'm glad you have a heart, but I thought you where worried about Robin and Huntress killing each other"

Omega backed away from the window and sat away from everyone in the room in the corner of the room. He changed his left eye red to see if he could detect any energy being release from huntress. Despite his irritation with Robin he was still worried if he could take on the Shadow warrior.

Ravager turn back to the window, "This is not a place for the weakest of heart, so promise me we will not have this problem again Sonic. The past is the past and it cannot changed. All we can do is look forward to the future."

"Ready to play little bird... Show me what you got...maybe I'll respect you afterwards..."

She smiled her eyes glowing slightly. One hand fell to her left hip resting over the hilt of the sword. She lifted a hand tipping her hat back slightly. She seemed to be sizing the Boy Wonder up. A hint of amusement lingered in golden hued eyes and the slightly curved lips. She walked forward closing the space between them even more but making no move to attack. Instead she began walking, counter clockwise about him. She was simply studying him, analyzing her opponent and strategizing. He may not have powers but he was what this planet considered a superhero, so she expected more from him then just common parlor tricks. She was almost excited, almost.

Jace felt Shadow Huntress watching him as she passed around him in a circle. Jace was excited. He didn't know what her strength level was but he didn't feel like he was at a disadvantage. His suit was a new form of tech similar to the one that Nightwing now wore. It wasn't just light weight body armor. Built into his suit where bionic strength enhancers that boosted the strength of his punches and kicks ten fold.

He also knew not to make the first move. Batman taught him to always let your opponent do it so you could preform a block and find your opponents weak spot and attack.

Kisii finished her pacing her brief analysis complete. The kid had some nice tech, that much was to be certain. It almost made her wish that she hadn't had to power UMBRA down, the suits AI would just have to settle for observations at the moment. She ran her fingers around the brim of her hat as she pondered her first attack. After a moment she settled on simply testing the waters. She wanted to see just a little bit of what he was capable of. Canting her head to the side she shifted her right leg slightly back. A swift motion unclasped the cloak and swung it around her frame, tossing the cloak directly into his line of sight. Almost simultaneously she shifted her body the right. Typically in this case the cloak would serve as a distraction for an attack coming in from the side. However this would not be the case.

.

Her slight feint to the left would be followed by two small steps in the same direction, far enough to be glimpsed by her opponent. A swift movement would draw the sword, which had shifted shape to be blunted at the edges so it wouldn't be lethal but would most definitely sting if it hit. Spinning the blade into and underhanded grip she lunged forward bringing her blade hand up and around in a blow that would slash at a slant from his shoulder to his core. However at the last moment she would release the sword, trajectory sending it to her waiting other hand which slid it back into the sheathe. A pivot of her body would send her former sword hand to grab, rewrap, and fasten her cloak in the same fluid motion that she would drop to the ground right leg coming out to sweep his legs from behind.

Of course she used her cape to try and distract him. He'd done the same plenty of times before in combat. He grabbed three smoke pellets from his belt and threw them down falling into a crouching position on all fours. The smoke had activated the thermal vision in his mask. He saw the heat signature of shadow huntress to his left through the fabric of the cape as it flew over his head and landed behind him.

Robin pulled his taser from his belt and pulled the trigger at the figure as she was drawing her sword. Robin rolled out of the way of her sword slash as the two prongs from the taser pierced Shadow Huntress on the side right under her left breast. A huge jolt of electricity was sent to the prongs ensuring that her muscles would tense up and she would be incapacitated for a moment enough for Robin to pin her down and lock the bat-cuffs on her.

(Since people clearly aren't reading correctly I'm just gonna work with this...)

Kisii was already in her crouch by the time she sensed the charged taser sweep past where she had been only moments before. She was almost in awe that such a display was even possible. She was pleased that he had avoided her leg sweep but less so when she realized it was only as a result of a hasty response to what was expected to be a sword slash. Rolling forward her hand went to her hip, drawing one of her pistols. She fired three EMP rounds. The electrical interference made a soft sound. All three were of a medium level but when combined would prove to be enough to put any electronics on him out of commission at least for a while. She reholstered her gun, aware of the brief flicker of her own armor as UMBRA instinctively protected itself against the interference of it's own electrical systems, not that it had much to worry about since most of it's energy it gathered directly from her body.

"Urgh!" Robin grunted as the three bullet's hit his uniform in the left peck, his right collarbone, and his right side. Robin fell onto his back as a burst of sparks shot from the right side of his utility belt and and from the R emblem on his peck. Jace was not expecting that. He'd been shot before but they never hurt this bad and they never made his suit malfunction either.

He laid on his back and waited for Shadow Huntress to make the next the move. He pulled his batons from his belt and he hid them behind his forearms unextended. He could extend them in an instant and take a swing at Shadow Huntress then.

Sparrow watched from the sidelines. He pulled his hood over his head. He gripped his mace even tighter. He wanted to help Jace but he new he couldn't interfere. Seeing Robin's uniform spark like that scared him.

She had good aim, her shots had all been well placed working to shut down the suits electronic aspects at least for a short while. Still she hadn't expected him to go down like that since the EMPs went of long before the projectiles made contact so at the most he should have just gotten a bit of a sting if the suit had Kevlar backing. Either way it wouldn't matter he was down and there was nothing she could do to change that, though her was taking a rather long time to get back up. Her hand went once again to the hilt of her sword as she moved in closer. She stopped with about two feet of space between them. Canting her head to one side her hip cocked she cast a glance down at him.

"I don't attack opponents when they're already down... So either give up or get up..."

Robin rolled himself swiftly to his feet and he cracked his neck. Robin gripped his his batons tightly in his hands and hopped that the emp's had just shut down the electronics in his suit and not all of his gadgets too. With his suit down his strength enhancers were also down. He didn't expect Shadow Huntress to be this good. Dare he say it she might have been smarter than him in combat. No. She couldn't be better than him because he refused to quit a quit a fight until every bone in his body was broken or his organs had exploded. As long as he could still deliver a punch he wouldn't stop. He shifted his weight to his right foot and slid his left back slightly squaring his body with his opponent. He twirled his batons and spit on the ground between Shadow Huntress's feet.

"You just gonna stand there or are we gonna spar?" Jace asked as adrenalin started flowing through his body.
