Realistic or Modern The New Teen Titans!

"So says the glorified pigeon who didn't show up until all was said and done to be less than useful..."

Kisii laughed lightly as she gave a flick of her wrist clicking the barrel of her gun back into place. The sound was light and airy. She hooked the weapon back in the holster and with a movement of her hand called the shadows behind her up and into a more tangible form so she could lean back. A small smile curved her lips and golden eyes dared Sparrow to challenge her to challenge her. She wasn't exactly one to go around poking at bees nest but she didn't like the young heroes disrespect for his teammates. Between him and Robin they seemed to be of the opinion that they were better than anyone there, an opinion she couldn't wait to see proved wrong.

Robin glared at the arrogant girl before him.

"I've fought beside Sparrow before you dumb bitch. He's a great fighter AND partner. You think just cause you've got those guns you're a big shot, huh? I used to use guns before I was Robin and I was a pretty damn good shot too. But those guns got me in nothing but trouble. All you are is some hot headed teen vigilante who thinks she rules the world. You don't. Nobody does. Now lay off you pms-ing shadow girl or whatever the hell you are," Jace argued with the girl.

He was calm and wanted to play with her emotions to properly see what she was capable of. Everything he had just said was true. As Falcon Jace had used dual glocks. He loaded one with live rounds and in the other he used rubber riot bullets.

"Birds of a feather... Don't presume you know me... It's not the guns that make me feel like I can do my JOB with skill... I can do it without them... So before you try lecturing anyone like some holier than thou little boy check your facts... Because last time I saw the two of you it was getting ready to attempt to neutralize your own wounded teammate... I'd love to see you two watching my back...just waiting for the bullet to go in it..."

She sounded a combination of amused and also mildly bored as she replied to the young Robin. She was not so naive as to have her emotions toyed with, nor so vain as to be effected by the words of a kid who had yet to show her anything to deem him worthy of anything faintly resembling her respect. She yawned pulling the brim of her hat down over her eyes. She made a soft amused scoff crossed her arms and proceeded to ignore his existence.

"You saw him. You where there cowgirl...you where on a fucking hover board. You saw him use a fucking missile to try and neutralize a human threat. I was worried that he'd killed the assailant. You also saw how he went on the fritz and just flew out of here. I had no idea if he was going to be hostile or not so I had to take precautions to protect myself. When I observed the scene as a whole I realized there was no threat and I put away my weapon. Plus you where told to stay put by our leaders and you didn't listen. If you hadn't gone after your little robot buddy sparrow and I wouldn't have followed. Do you understand me? You may not think I deserve your respect but I do. Everyone on this team deserves respect. Now show some," Jace ordered aggravated.

Omega turned to robin, sparrow, and shadow who where going at it with there words. Omega ran between the two sides and turned to Robin.

"Your analysis skills are malfunctioning, I had complete control over the situation without the use of such destructive weaponry as a missile," he shouted as he jumped into Robins face.

"That explosion was a Miscalculation on my Landing," Then he his blue eye turned purple showing his anger, "Had I not being shot, Omega could have landed more efficiently."

"Omega is not a robot, nor a killing machine," Then his wings summon and he grabbed Robin flying him into the air, "BUT IF ROBIN WISH TO OBSERVER REAL DANGER." his voice became robotic. He then acted as if he was gonna slam Robin into the ground and dived full speed into the ground. But he stopped a few feet from the ground and just dropped him instead of crushing him.

"Call Omega a robot again."

"See...and this is why you get no respect... You think you know everything...see everything... You think you can simply command respect... Respect is earned not given out like some cheap toy... I'd respect Omega before I showed you any respect... After all you're just one in a long line of heroes passing down a title that has lost it's respectability more times than the slowest rat gets lost in a maze..."

Kismet sighed sitting up before slowly rising to her feet. She tipped her hat all the way back on her head, sending brown locks falling into her face. The scar on her cheek shifted as she gave him a crooked half smile. She walked over to Omega, patting the boy on the head in a manner meant to be soothing. She indicated with a motion of her head that for now it would be best for them to move away as there was no point in further indulging the argument. She turned on her heel and headed of towards the edge of the tower where she would be able to finally get some peace and look out on the water. As she walked she spoke one last time.

"And I left because there was a crime being committed which, as heroes, it is our job to stop... I'd rather do my job than waste my time with long drawn out introductions... "

"Omega." Ari said, placing a hand on his shoulder, "Please don't make me use my voice again." She pleaded. She hated placing someone under control. It was like watching a zombie do her work. She didn't like looking at that. But it worked. She sighed. "And Robin, COOL YOUR JETS." She screamed, blowing him off the roof.

Robin took a nose dive off the top of the tower and started laughing to himself the whole time he was falling. He was having a great time the whole time he was falling. He was doing crazy flips, summersaults, and corkscrews in the air.

He'd done this for fun plenty if times as Falcon and during his training as Robin When he was in the danger zone of hitting the ground he pulled his grabbing gun from his belt and fired the coil of wire at the roof. The hook at the end of the wire grabbed onto the edge of the roof and and Robin was pulled back up to the top of the Tower. He hopped down from the ledge and smirked at Ari.

"You're gonna have to try harder than that if you want to kill me," Robin said sitting cross legged on the ground like a little brat.

"Wasn't trying to kill you. Want me to make you deaf, I can do that." Ari said. She smirked at him and grabbed his collar. "Watch your mouth hot shot." She said, shoving his chest. She smiled. "If you would like I can make you a zombie." Ari said, crossing her arms. She didn't like this guy. He acted like the ruler of the world. "I suggest you get off you high pedestal and change your ways because if your are leader, I don't follow scum like you." She said, walking back to Omega.

"Guys lets all just relax" I said watching as they leapt off the roof "For gods sakes how the hell are we meant to be a so called 'team' when we can't even stay in the same room together for 5 minutes."

"Scum?! I am not scum. I've been at this way longer than you and most of the people on this new team. Sorry not sorry I'm cocky but I have the experience and know how to figure out what to do and when to do it," Robin retaliated as Ari walked away.

God these heroes where all jerks. He'd never received this much disrespect from fellow heroes before. Even when he shot Sparrow with a live round from his Glock as Falcon when they first met he hadn't been this disrespected.

"AT THE LEAST YOU WERN'T ISOLATED FROM YOUR OWN HOME!" Ari yelled at him. She glared his way before spreading her wings and taking off. She felt so disrespected. A guy like that could never be a leader, let alone someone she would respect. She flew off over the water and to a small cliff by the sea. She sat down and started singing, her voice carrying though the wind.

I turned to the three mentors and sighed. "So what now, huh?" I asked frustrated "this was a great idea in theory, but its just not working. There's way too much ego in one room, and its clashing. You guys need a new game plan."

"Guys you all need to calm down," Connor intervened after spending a good amount of time listening to their arguments from a far. "Starting today we are supposed to be a team, we will never be a team if all of you keep fighting!" He replied with narrowing hazel eyes.

"And people wonder why I usually work alone," Sparrow said watching the winged girl fly off in an angry rage. She had a temper. Sure Robin had aggravated her but he did have more experience and he knew Robin didn't give respect unless he received it. It was something he learned early on in their partnership when Jace was Falcon.

Sparrow walked over to Robin and whispered in his ear, "You're such a little asshole."

"You said that when I shot you," Robin whisperer back.

"I know. Should we go after her?" Sparrow asked the newest boy wonder referring to Ari.

"No. Let her cool off on her own. If she comes back she comes back. If she doesn't she doesn't. It's ultimately her choice," Jace said coming to a rational decision.

(imma play ravager until other get gets back OOC)

Omega watched as Robin fell off the roof, from Ahri Voice. Despite being pissed off, he felt worried about his safety, being the only member with out superpowers. Then he swung back only having a bigger ego them before. He became even more pissed off wondering why he even worried about his safety. He walked away from the group and sat on the other end of the tower.

"How I wish I had some popcorn right now because you brats are putting on a show. Nightwing if you ask me I think they have too much energy to spare. How about we let them do some sparing exercises. This way they can release some fumes and we can see how good they think they are." Shouted ravager. Unlike Nightwing she was not phase by the amount of disrespect being dropped. Like Robin said respect is earned.

"CADETS LINE UP.

We are gonna break you girls up into pairs of 2. Superman you sit back and help critic your teammates. Everyone follow me."

Ravager guided the titans into the combat room.

This is the combat room, any and all fighting will be done in here, Here are the rules.

All fights are to monitored by a mentor at All times.

If a mentor deems a fight over, then its over

If a mentor is in the combat room, then all parties are to stop fighting

All fighters are to wear this watch which will act as your communicator and vital monitors,

Lastly All fights are to be clean, any dirty fighting will be instant disqualification

Lets watch our first match up, between the biggest hot heads i seen all week.

Robin vs Shadow Huntress"

Then ravager guided everyone else into a back room.

Ari sighed and jumped off the cliff, freefalling for a few seconds before extending her wings and soaring into the air. She frowned and flew towards the large building. She landed on the roof and sat next to Omega. She sighed and set her head in her hands. "Egotistical, hotshot...." She muttered under her breath.

Damian sat back and watched the New Teen....The New recruits fight and argue. They made a few good points like how the introductions are a waste of time. Sure it was used to know who you were dealing with but he saw why they could understand that. He could have gave them Wayne Tech Data files and had them read up on the info he put on them.

Kara was going to break them up but Damian stopped her. "Let them get it out, Not good to bottle it up. Most of the time it helps."

Kara laid back with Damian and Rose and let them argue. "Nightwing, Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yes, Just let them work it out."

'

As they let the arguing go on Sonic used a Sound blast on Robin. Someone that may have been getting on every bodies bad side. Reminded Damian of his first run with the Titans. He left them and when he became older he joined them once more tell it's end. As Damian gasped as Robin was knocked of he quickly regain his calm as he saw Robin pull himself back up. He was train be Grayson, What to expect.

Damian was about to take action but then Rose, Ravager took action before him. "Yes they do, How should we handle this?"

This landed the group in the Combat room. He was excited. "Good Idea Ravager."

Damian finally spoke. "As Ravager said, Fair play...But on the streets of Gotham and from the League of Assassins. I learn things aren't fair but lethal use of weapons will not be permitted." He stated as he looked at Kismet.

Kara,Superwoman was the only one worried about the match up. She turned to Rose and Damian. "Come on Guys." She whispered softly. "Shadow Huntress Vs Robin, She has power armor on. Plus all we know about her is she's from a different dimension that we still can't trace, She is a unknown."

Damian chuckled. "Jace is a Robin...He can hold his own." Nightwing responded as he waited for the two to square off.

"Are you guys fucking crazy?? *" I shouted at the mentors "you can't just let them kill each other. Jesus christ!!" I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Did they really think a good way of doing this was to put each other in fights like rats in a cage?

Ravager chuckled at Superman's complaint. This new man of steel was not smart, as if they would let them kill each other. "I guess that will be your job then boy of steel, since you want to volunteer. As a team you need to know what your partners can and cannot do. Watch carefully and get to know your brothers and sisters of justice. Then she turn to him and winked, "And next time you catch them fighting. Be sure not to let us catch it." Then she turn to the rest of the group, "Any other whiners wish to complain?"

I was about to say something sarcastic or snide back to Ravager but thought better of it and shut my mouth. I watched the other two with interest. "I'm not even sure I'm cut out for this" I thought "If this is what goes on"

"Any weapon is a lethal one... But if you mean I can't use lethal rounds...then fine... I'm looking forward to this..."

Kismet grinned as she stood in the middle of the combat room. She ran a finger around the brim of her hat. This was definitely more her style. She wasn't one to fond of talking as she preferred the physical method. She was inclined to believe that ones skills spoke more fittingly for them then words. With such a cocky opponent she was more than willing to see just how well his bite could back up his bark. Plus it would almost be like being back at the Academy. It was an almost unspoken rule between the Shadowguard that any dispute could be solved with a simple sparring match. Moving to what would be her starting point she rotated her neck slightly cracking it and loosening her muscles.

"UMBRA activate protocol S... Neutral status, no lethals..."

The armor responded almost immediately, the metal softening and relaxing form until it was the same fabric type status as her cape. UMBRA's neutral form was just that, neutral, with all the usual augmentations off. She wanted to do this without the bit of extra boost the shadowsteel armor gave her. She still had both pistols, now in soft holsters on her hips and her sword. Between those and her hand to hand skills she was more than ready.

Ravager turned to the the other kids, "This will be the first time i get to really see your abilities in action." Then she watched as Shadows armor morphed around and changing material type. Ravager didnt know much about alien tech, but she knew enough about armor to tell how much protection it would give. "I can't tell who is the bigger hotshot right now lol. Cupcake I hope you dont treat all Earth heros with such arrogance. The ones without superpowers can be the most dangerous ones."

Ravager chuckled a little. Robin might had been a hothead too, but he was trained by batman, the most deadly and dangerous person in the world. Even she had to respect that factor.

"It's not arrogance... It's a rule... Shadowguards do not spar in their armor... I can't take mine off so this is the best I can do..."

She shrugged stretching her body as she gave out a lazy yawn. It really was sad that they new so little about her, but then again her home world was not only galaxies but dimensions away. It was just a sign that they were doing their job well, hunting down the worst of the worst in every dimension without giving themselves away to much. Of course there was her father, who had stayed in this dimension long enough to sire her, but what could one do. Interdimensional officer or no, it wasn't against the rules to fall in love. She shook her head slightly freeing herself of such whimsical notions. They had no bearing on the present and she wasn't here for something as passing as emotion. She was here because she had a job to do so long as she was in this dimension and joining this team seemed the most effective way to do it.

"Note to self, lack of intel is a real thing..."

Michael followed Ravager to the combat room. He thought her idea was pretty good having them fight. All these potential heroes arguing, they need to let off some steam.

Once they made it to the combat room, he leaned against the wall and watched the first match up.
