Fantasy The New Earth

Mitcha licked Ocean's finger as she reached over to pet them. Jack looked back at the two sisters that had just arrived. Turning his attention to Rose's question he said, "I think it's called a helicopter. They use it to fly around."

 

[Spotine]

"Interesting." Rose muttered as she examined the burnt controls. "You know, this thing looks dangerous. Are you sure we should be in here since it was just on fire a few minutes ago?" She asked. Rose hopped over one of the crates and dusted off her dress.

 

[Dxni]

Staying silent for a moment she looks over what she could briefly recall as a helicopter from one of those old books she's found on the shore, "Well, whatever happened they took what was in those boxes." Ocean stated turning slightly pointing to the ripped open boxing with a nothing in them, "Y-yeah...I'm pretty sure it's a helicopter."


 
Realizing she had no idea what any of these people names were she returned her focus to the group,"So what are all of your names?" She asks moving her gaze to each person

 

[Aero]

April walked closer to the helicopter with Anna. They looked at the girl both with smiles. "Hiya, I'm April Lapis." April said waving. "And I'm Anna Lapis, the younger sister." Anna said.

 

[Spotine]

Rose was moving towards the exit to the helicopter. She could feel something warm on her arm. When she looked down, Rose saw smoke coming from the bottom of the door. She could see a hint of orange flame underneath the helicopter. "Guys it's on fire!" Rose shouted, looking at everyone with a scared look on her face. Rose then looked at Ocean. "I'm Rose, and I'm trying to save your life. Get out of the helicopter!" She shouted. Rose then hopped out and ran away from the helicopter, scared it would explode.

 

[Aero]

April eyes widen and ran off behind Rose. "So much for nice settle introductions!" She said sighing. Anna flew off and hovered above everyone away from the helicopter. "It's just surprise after surprise." Anna said looking at the helicopter from a safe distance. She landed down next to April, she didn't want her wings to spread the fire and more than where it is.

 

[Dxni]

Sliding out right after Anna and April she laughs slightly at April comment. Turning her head towards the Helicopter she makes sure she grabbed her knapsack. Standing a farther distance from the helicopter Ocean coughs from the smoked she inhaled when leaving.

 

[Spotine]

Rose looked at the helicopter, watching the smoke start to envelope it. "3... 2... 1... Get down!" She shouted suddenly. Rose fell to her knees and covered her head. Just as she did this there was a loud boom and the helicopter exploded. Ash and debris flew through the air, raining down on the group and around them.

 

[Dxni]

(Let's hope Jack's wolves got out)


Right when the helicopter exploded Ocean turned around blocking her face. Feeling ash and debris fall in her hair and hit past her she waits until she doesn't feel anything. "Is everyone alright?" Ocean asks turning back around her blonde hair darkened by the dirt.

 

[Spotine]

Rose looked up. She was covered in ash and dirt, which undoubtedly stained her white dress. "I'm fine. Are you?" She asked before starting to cough. After coughing for a while, Rose covered her mouth and nose with her hand. "Does anyone see Jack?" She asked, trying to look through the cloud of ash.

Jack's eyes widened in dread. "SCRAM!" He yelled at Tatchi and Mitcha. The wolves didn't wait a split second longer to dash from the helicopter. Jack disappeared and turned to run but the helicopter had already exploded. Jack launched backwards and landed hard on the ground. From the perspective of someone else, they'd see floating flames. Jack reappeared, desperately taking off his shirt, throwing it on the ground and trying to stamp out the flames with his shoes.

 

[Aero]

Anna ducked down a second before the explosion, April's sisterly instinct kicked in and she covered Anna. When the explosion was through April coughed a bit before saying. "We're good." She coughed some more and stood up. Anna nodded and stood up, not much ash got on her since April covered her. April looked around until she saw a flame shoot across. "Is that Jack!?" She exclaimed and ran over to him, Anna not far behind. When the girls saw him stomping his shirt they sighed in relief. "Where are your wolf pals?" Anna asked.

 

[Spotine]

Rose coughed again. "Jack! Jack are you there?!" She called out in a hoarse voice. Rose could see Tatchi and Mitcha emerge from the smoke. "Thank god their okay." She thought. Rose stood and looked around. She spotted a small flicker of flames a few feet away. "Jack...?" She murmured before rushing over and seeing him trying to stomp out a fire. Rose sighed in relief and threw her arms around him. "Oh thank god Jack you're alright." She said in a relieved tone. She blushed and rubbed the back of her head. "Hehe..."

 

[Dxni]

Ocean eyes widen as she watched Jack take off his shirt and start stomping out the fire on it. Looking around she prices the two wolves are alright also. "We should all probably go before anything else bad happens." She groaned out her voice slightly hoarse, coughing slightly she continues speaking in a more clear voice, "I did see a tiger paw earlier so it might still be around."

 

[Aero]

April giggled a bit watching Rose hug Jack relieved he was alright. Anna coughed. "I'm sick of the smoke." She said and sprouted eagle wings. She flew into a space with no smoke and started flapping trying to get rid of the smoke. April held her ground and her bookbag tightly. "What a breeze!" She said. Once the smoke was clear Anna landed back down when Ocean mentioned a tiger paw print. "That tiger may have something to do with everyone in the copter dead." Anna said nodding.

 

[Spotine]

"Good point." Rose said to Ocean. She turned back to Jack, glancing shortly at his shirtless torso. She cleared her throat and then dusted some ash and dirt off of her dress. She looked like a mess. "I'm glad Willow didn't come." Rose thought. When Anna started to make the smoke clear, Rose tried to stand her ground against the wind Anna was causing. "Dang Anna since when could you do that?" Rose asked, smirking. Because of the wind Anna had caused most of the debris was now off of Rose's hair and her dress.

Jack let out a sigh of relief as the fire was finally put out. Suddenly, Rose pulled him into a hug. At first he was surprised but he smiled. "Are you ok?" He said, his body still smoking slightly from the heat of the blast. Jack spotted Tatchi and Mitcha nearby, sitting side by side. Tatchi tilted his head slightly at the sight of Rose and Jack hugging. Then the wolves turned to each and began licking each other. A universal dog sign for... "Aye... stop that," he said, flushing a deep red. But the dogs paid no mind to his attention.

 

[Dxni]

At the powerful wind of Anna's wings she grins feeling the blast of air blowing her hair all over. "Yeah it was definitely involved in this, but the lightning it was somebody, a settler or somebody just new to the area." Ocean responded glancing at Rose and Jack and then to the wolves she laughed slightly.

 

[Spotine]

Rose blushed and rubbed the back of her head. "I agree with y'all... We should probably get out of here if that tiger is here." She said. She coughed again. "All that ash can't be good for my lungs." Rose thought. She started to walk back towards her house.

 

[Aero]

Anna rubbed the back of her head. "It was suppose to be a simple wind current. Guess I don't know my own strength." She said chuckling. April saw the wolves from the corner of her eye and chuckled. She may have been away from Earth but not long enough to not know what that meant. Anna flew up in the air and followed Rose back to her house. April simply walked behind Rose her arms waving back and forth by her sides.

Jack nodded. He whistled and the wolves jogged over. Jack made his way back to Rose's house, Tatchi and Mitcha close behind.

 

[Spotine]

Rose made it to her house in no time. She climbed up the ladder and Willow came running to her. "What happened?! Why are you covered in dirt? Where you attacked? Are you okay?" She asked, romping around crazily. "Calm down Willow." Rose said, petting the deer. "Yeah we're fine. But this thing called a helicopter exploded and we got covered in debris." She said. Willow looked up at Rose worriedly. "Are you sure you're okay?" She asked. "Yes Willow we're all fine!" Rose said, giggling. "But I think I need to get this ash off of me." She said, straightening her composure and looking at her ash-covered hair.

 

[Dxni]

Watching everyone going in the same direction she stands there unsure of what to do. Deciding to follow them at a distance she walks quietly a few yards behind Jack wanting to know where they are all going.

 

[Aero]

Anna saw Ocean falling behind and flew down next to her. "Hey Ocean why are you all the way back here?" She asked hovering around the girl. @Dxni


April walked in after Rose and nodded. "I agree it's making me wanna-" April said and sneezed into her arm. "Sneeze."

 

[Spotine]

Rose giggled at April's sneeze. "I'm going to head to the river to get some water to clean up." She said. She grabbed a large bucket and slung it over her shoulder. "Anyone want to come?" Rose asked. Willow started to jump up and down. "Me! I want to come!" She said excitedly. Rose patted Willow's head. "Of course you're coming Willow. I was asking them." She said, gesturing to April, Anna, Ocean, and Jack.
