Fantasy The New Earth

[Uasal]

Lightning hit another tree splinting, it sending splinters through the area. in the distance a man (settler) could be heard screaming but he was cut off by the roaring thunder. The lightning arced through the clouds giving an eerie lighting to the area briefly.

 

[Church Burning]

"Sorry. Severusé..." She whistled and the anaconda stopped and slithered back to Anubis. He slithered up her leg and onto her shoulder, dropping like a scarf. Anubis and her snakes both hissed in fear when they heard the Lightning. Anubis crouched down, knife in hand and hissed at the sky

 

[Aero]

Anna looked at Severusé coming toward her. She wasn't all about violence but if the anaconda attacks her she is not afraid to beat it with a stick. Anna watched him slither back to his owner. Anna nodded and gave out a little huff.


April chuckled. "I was hoping not." She said smilng. Her smile turned into a frown when she heard the thunder and the lightning getting too close for comfort. "Um should we go inside or something?" April asked looking at the sky.

 

[Spotine]

Rose shielded her face as the lightning struck another tree, causing splinters to fly everywhere. She heard a scream and Willow looked up at Rose fearfully. "What is happening?" Willow asked, her voice fearful. To everyone else it just sounded like a lot of sniffing from Willow, but Rose could talk to animals. Rose looked at the dark sky with the lightning causing an eerie glow over everything. She knelt beside Willow. "I don't know. But I think we should get out of here." She muttered. "April, Anna, Anubis, Jack, I have a feeling that we should leave as soon as possible." Rose said in a firm tone.

 

[Church Burning]

"Just this once...follow me. I know a place where Lightning can't reach..." She said, struggling because it was in her territory. Sol tightened on her waist and Severusé tightened around her shoulders, hissing and hiding under her hair.

The wolves continued growling at Anubis. "Tatchi!" Jack called, as he immediately turned to look at him. "Fetch my bow! Mitcha, get my quiver," he commanded them and the two wolves, swiftly turned and sprinted at top speed into the forest. "Explain why I should follow you?" Jack asked the snake lady, suspiciously.

 

[Dxni]

Ocean opened her aquatic blue eyes a smile gradually appearing more on her face, air bubbles pushing past her lips and rising to the surface, she laughed in glee. Swimming with Finn, a baby seal, she rose to the top of the water. Waving and bidding a goodbye to Finn, Ocean swims back up onto the shore.


After being in the water all morning she comes out in a tightly woven sea weed two piece. Squeezing her tangled blond hair for excess water she enters the forest trying to remember where she put her sack. Hearing thunder and lightning Ocean jumps, "I guess I better go find a cave to sit in..." She mumbles walking briskly around the trees, Ocean finally retrieved her sack. Turning deeper in the forest she searches for a cave or shelter to hide from the Lightning.

 

[Church Burning]

"Why would I want to harm you? I barely know you but this storm...it's not normal. I have no quarrel with you nor is there anything I want from you!" She said, before running away. (Gtg)

 

[Spotine]

Rose looked from Jack to the snake girl. "Well that happened." She mumbled. The sky continued to grow darker and thunder pounded again. "How about you guys come to my house." Rose suggested, petting Willow's head to soothe her.

Jack raised his eyebrow as Anubis suddenly darted from them. He didn't trust the serpent enough to follow her yet but he looked at the others. Then at Rose. "Sure," he said. Jack wasn't worried about Tatchi and Mitcha. They could easily pick up his scent and follow him to wherever he was

Looking up into the sky Ocean searches for a bird to ask directions from. Becoming anxious after another lightning bolt strikes Ocean breathes harder, seeing a bird fly by Ocean calls out, "Hey! Can you help me?"

 

[Uasal]

The helicopter from before began taking off the engines warming up and the propellers beginning to spin. the sound of bullets echoing in the distance once again being cut off by thunder. the lightning arched again as the thunder roared, when the thunder clap passed the engine and gunshots were silenced.

 

[Spotine]

Rose started walking towards her house, jumping slightly as she heard more thunder. She paused when she heard gunshots. "What is happening?!" Rose thought angrily. Willow ran forward towards the house, scared and wanting to be safe at home. "Willow!" Rose called after the deer, then ran after her.

Jack's eyes widened as he heard gunshots. Now he was slightly concerned with his wolves. Not sure what to do, he ran after Rose. He was confident and trusted that his wolves could handle themselves.

Rose reached her house just in time to see Willow clambering up the steps to reach her bedroom. "Sorry." Rose said to Jack, out of breath. She walked up the steps as well to see Willow cowering in fear in the corner. "Hey were are your wolves?" Rose asked Jack as she bent over and tried to calm Willow.

Jack took a moment to catch his breath once he reached the house. "My wolves? They headed back to fetch my bow and quiver. They should be back soon," he said. And by soon he meant in a few minutes... maybe even sooner

 

[Spotine]

Rose nodded. "Alright." She looked out her window at the sky, which was still dark and stormy. "It's never like this. Do you think this has something to do with the settlers?" Rose asked, looking at Jack and tilting her head to the side slightly. The tilt of her head caused some of her silky hair to fall over her eyes.

 

[Dxni]

At the sound of gunshots Ocean stands still, "What in the blazes is going on?" She questions, unsure if she should go towards the sound or away from it. Deciding against the idea she begins to walk farther away from the noises searching for some type of shelter.

 

[Aero]

Anna and April followed Rose and Jack toward Rose's house. April and Anna shivered when hearing the gunshot. April felt awkward when they started to talk about that the settlers may be part of the storm problem. "It has to be someone doing this, the storm is unnatural." Anna said. "Also, why thunder and lightning but no rain?" Anna finished her statement looking at the two.

 

[Spotine]

Rose looked at April. "Sorry, I'm not saying it's your fault. I'm just saying it might have something to do with another person from space testing their powers on Earth or something." She said.

 

[Aero]

April nodded. "It's okay I got what you were saying." She said giving them a small smile. Anna patted her sisters back reassuringly.

 

[Uasal]

the storm began to dissipate slowly with a final clap of thunder and strike of lightning. Smoke rose from the landing zone of the helicopter . the supplies from the helicopter were missing and big paw prints were left in the soft earth.
