Dante Worthington was an arsticroate, the son of a noble, an Earl. His father was an outspoken man that constantly went against the King of England's desire to invade France. Not only would it be costly in terms of Money, but in manpower as well. This angered the King, but there were others that also voiced their concerns. But that soon came to an end. The King branded his father a Tratior to the Crown, conspiring with France against England. All trumped up charges but never the less he was arrested along with the entire family, except Dante. He had been out drinking and fighting. What else was he suppose to do. He hated the King of England and had done what he could for the people of his fathers lands. He robbed from the rich and gave to his people so they could pay their taxes and still have money left over. When he heard of his father's arrest and that there was a warrant for his arrest as well, he went back to the castle he lived in, was able to sneak past the Royal Guards and raid his father's treasury and the armory.

He selected a fine sword with great balance. It had a beautiful crafted basket hilt and was made of the finest steel. He took what he could as well as clothes and made for the coast where he found a fishing boat that would take him across the channel to France. He had no love for his King and if it came to fighting against his own country he would do so. So it was that he made it to France and then to Paris. He spoke the language quite well and even managed to leave the accent behind when he really concentrated. He had been there a few days, getting a place that was not in the best part of the city but it was neither in the worst.

He was riding outside of the city near some ruins when he saw two figures. One was an elderly man, holding someone up against one of the ruins walls. As he got closer he saw that the one pinned was a woman. He slipped from his horse and moved up behind the elderly man and tapped the man on the shoulder with the tip of his sword. "Unhand her sir, or face my blade."

Anne looked up as a man with a sword rode up. He sounded English. She struggles to get away more. The English really were after her. The Man holding her sighed. "She and I have some un finished business. No need for a citizen to get involved this is my sister." He says. Anne shook her head. He slammed her back into the wall. Anne closed her eyes and frowned. Her head was killing her, she opened her eyes and watched the stranger. The man dropped her and she breathed.

Anne hit her heads on the ground and glared up at him."Look no trouble the girl is the trouble. "He said backing up. His hands up. He looked at Anne and sighed,"fine have the whore she isn't worth it."He said and turned to run away, he left Anne laying where she was. Anne looked up at the man who had saved her a horrible fate. She couldn't hold on much longer, her head was killing her. She blacked out as she saw the man kneeling down to see her.

Anne woke in a warm room lit by a fire. She sat up and scrambled back looking around. She breathed in and looked around her head was pounding. She put a hand to her head felt a mark that had been cleaned up. She cursed in French and started feeling her head. She spoke mostly French, so when she saw him she spoke only in French." Who are you? Why did you help me?"she asked him. If he understood French, she really wouldn't trust him.

Death to all Betrayers

Dante was cooking up some food. On the table was some bread and cheese and a couple apples. In the pot was some beef and vegtables. He heard his guest stir and then speak to him. He tasted the stew and nodded at the taste, then dished up two bowls of it and placed the bowls on the table. "Well now I see that you are awake. Would you care for something to eat? he asked her in French. There was no accent. He smiled and chuckled. "It seemed to be the proper thing to do at the time. You can call me Dante." The place was one large room with a fire place. For furniture he had a table with four chairs, a bed, a wardrobe for clothes, his bed which Anne was laying on and some cabinents for storing the cook ware and dishes and bowls. On the floor by the bed was a large rug, that was worn but still useable. It was clean and comfortable to him.

He brought out a bottle of wine and poured two glasses full and sat the bottle on the table. "Think you are able to join me for some supper? You have been out of it for some time now." He sat down at the table and broke of some bread and cut a piece of cheese and put those on a place and began eating, as he watched her. Hung on the bed post was her sword belt with her sword and dagger, her cloak was folded up on a chair by the bed. On the table by his plate was the wanted poster for her. "You know they just don't do justice to a persons face on these things. Unless the person that is drawing them has seen the one they are drawing there is many details left out." he grinned at her. "Nice reward. Was the gentleman earlier trying to collect on this?"

Anne frowned at his accent."you speak french, not bad I guess but terrible accent. "She replied.Anne sighed and tryed English."Food would be nice Thank you. "She said she struggled with English, she horrible at it. Anne slowly got up.She spoke quickly in French again. "How long have I been out and proper thing? Since when dies an English man do the proper thing?"She asked skeptical of him. She looked around at the room. It had everything you could ever need in a room. Simple yet elegant. She thought.

Whwn He asked her to join she nods."Oui Merci beaucoup." She said and went to sit at the table.Anne watched him with a close look as she sat down at the table. She saw her things hanging or folded. Her eye's landed in the poster and she wwnt rigid. She spoke again."are you turning me in."She asks."It is a heavy price, for such a little crime but then again anything against the Cardinal and His Captain Rochefort is treason. You dont agree then your hung."She said and nods to the paper."That doesn't cover half my crimes, those are only the ones I have done portrayed as a woman. The Man you saw was not trying to get me to confess or turn me in for those crimes but these." She pulled out another one for a male figure and said the crimes on the bottom."So turning me in I just gave you everything you need."She said.

Dante laughed. "Turn you in? No." he said. "Even thought the reward would be nice, I doubt that I would receive it from what I have heard of the Cardinal." He pushed the bread and cheese towards her. "Eat up. So why do you do what you have been doing?" he asked. He placed a chunk of cheese in his mouth and chewed on it as he looked across the table at her. Since arriving in Paris he had heard nothing but bad things about what was going on. The disbanding of the King's Musketeers and the Cardinals Guard taking over for them to protect the King. Why that had happened was not clear but it seemed that the Cardinal had convinced the King it was for his safety. The King was young as was his queen. Impresionable perhaps and naive perhaps. If it had been the King of England he would have had the Cardinal arrested and put in the Tower. But that was England and not France. What she said about the Cardinal was interesting.

He was also apraising her appearance. Not bad looking from what he could see. From the posters it seemed she was well versed in the use of a sword which was indeed rare for a woman. It was a mans world and women were not expected to nor given the chance to do what men did. She intrested him. He was in France and an Englishman. His french was enough to get him by without to much suspicion. So far his life there was boring and he wanted to spice it up a bit. Perhaps she could help with that.

Anne looked suprised at him." Not turning me in that is very kind of you." She said."The Cardinal pay out, especially for someone at the top of his Treason list. You Just have to watch out for Captain Rochefort. Man use to be a Musketeer then went bad."She said. She ate the stew slowly and thought about how to answer his question. "Because I am loyal to my King and Queen. No one out there is doing anything and I have the heart of a Musketeer. I rather be caught for treason against the Cardinal aka the king and his wife, then just sit at home waiting for some guy to claim me."She says. "How do you know how to speak French are you not English.?"She asked him finally. She was curious. She hated most men for they only saw her as a woman. He saw her as his meal ticket into trouble.

Anne looked him over. He was young and good looking. He had a sword and had used it on the man who had her pinned to the wall. She was supprised at his actions and how he spoke to her. She sighed and watched him her Brown hair hung around her shoulders. Her bright green eyes seemed to have a mischievous look to them. She Leaned back. She thought for a minute. "Most men take the money and turn me in. You must have a price on your head as well only explanation as to why you won't turn me in. Or your just better then most men."She said

Death to all betrayers

"A price on my head, yes, but not here. In England I probably have a nice bounty on my head. Here though I am not known and thanks to one of my instructors growing up, I learned French. He said one day it could come in handy." He shugged his shoulders. "Well he was right about that. He continued to eat. "So you think the Cardinal is up to something? A man of the cloth plotting and scheming to take control of France? " Well he was after all a man and when one got as high as he had in the Church, he could see how he would have ambitions. The only thing higher then a cardinal was the Pope, and he seemed to have a number of years left in him. "What of the King and Queen, don't they suspect him of anything." It was strange that they didn't, unless the cardinal had them totally fooled.

He could see that. Royalty usualy could be blindsided by their egos. Constant praise and complements would turn their heads from the obvious and spell doom for those that knew the truth. The people would beleive anything the Cardinal would say, he was after all their spiritual leader and would not lie to them. He was a spokesman of god after all. He finished his meal and then picked up an apple and cut it up and began eating it. He put his booted feet up on the table and leaned back in his chair.

Anne sighed and watched him. She nods."so you know all about a price being on your head."She said."oh you were taught French. You speak it pretty well. Just missing the accent. "She said and smiles gently. She ate slowly and sighed at his question. "Of course the rat bastard is up to something he disbanded the kings guard. Saying all he needed was his men. The Cardinal is no holy man. He tortures many and makes us watch his punishments. I do not trust the Clergy. "She said. "They are young they just think he is doing what is best for them. When I am sure all he wants is the crown."Anne said."this is where I get my treason charges from."She said

"I would never commit treason. I work for my King and Queen. I will always do so."She said. She sighed and leaned back."all I do is in there name not the Cardinals. "She said. She watched him."so why did you save a poor fugitive French girl such as myself. Most men look at us a a prize to be had."She said. She made a face at his boots on the table. He was still a man. He had the same tendencies just with a bit more manners.

Death to all betrayers

"But you have no real proof that he is trying to take the throne for himself" he asked her and saw the look she gave him when he put his booted feet up on the table. "My place my rules." he grinned and sipped some wine. "So the famed Musketeers have been disbanded. Pity. I heard that some were quite good with the sword. I would loved to have challanged a couple of them. It is the only way I can hone my skills with the blade." He looked over at her above the rim of the glass of wine. "Now where did you learn to use a blade? I don't think you just carry it around for show."

"What do you mean she got away?" A ruggedly handsome older man asked of the one that had roughed up Anne. "There was a man that got the drop on me. A stranger, I thought it best that I didn't fight him with all those about that could call the Cardinal's Guard."

"She has been causing enough trouble for us as it is. Pretending to be a musketeer and taking on the Cardinals men." the man said.

Another in the back said with a seemed to be a slightly drunk or perhaps a nonshalant voice, "Well she is doing something. We surely are not." this man had longish black hair tied back with a blue bandana. His beard and mustach was a bit unkept. The other had a sandy brown hair that was neatly combed and trimmed, but had a rugged look to him.

"I know." the Sandy haired man said. "That is what really bothers me. But we can do nothing. We know the Cardinal is up to something but with out proof we can not go to the King." he shook his head and dismissed the one man.

( Athos Aremis and Pathos :) just watched them only time I thought all those men were sexy as hell.)

Anne sighed."No, just what I have heard come from the Cardinals Guards and the Captain Rochefort."She said. She sighed and rolled her eye's. "Great I find that beyond gross."She said and drank some wine."yes disbanded by the Cardinal his men are protecting the king. They were very good many of them were taken in because they didn't show up at the retiring of the Musketeers."She said. She sighed at his question."no it isn't show I promise you. I learned from my father. My mother couldn't give him a son. So I was his next best choice. He was killed and I plan to avenge him."She said.

(Sorry short :( )

Death to all betrayers

"Well you stay here for now. I need to go pick up a few things. He moved his feet from the table and stood up. "Lock the door after me and do not open it till I return." he told her. He was wanting to find out a bit more of what was going on. The only way he could do that was to go into the brothels and talk with the lovely ladies of the night. They would have taken care of the needs of the Cardinal's guards and some of them, the more influencial or high ranking ones would have some sort of knowledge. Whether it was by overhearing something or being told to do something.

He went to the door a grin on his face. This would be the fun part of getting information. The women would have it all and he would just have to pay for it by spending some fun time with them. At the door he turned and pointed a finger at her. "Don't go out and get into trouble. Rest a bit more so that you will be ready for what ever comes. When I come back I might have something for you."

He went out and closed the door behind him. Soon he was out on the street walking towards where the ladies of the night would be. He side stepped a an on coming rider and bumped into a man with sandy hair and beard, dressed in fairly nice clothing. "Watch where you are going you olf." the man said.

"Olf? You dare call me an olf you old windbag." Dante replied.

"A sharp toung, is your blade is as sharp?"

Dante grinned, "That it is, By the old ruins to the west of the city, tomorrow at noon." he said.

"I'll be there." the elderly man said.

As he continued on his way he neared a tavern with tables outside, in a garden like setting. There sat a dark haired man with a wild beard and mustach and a blue bandana. He was dressed almost as if he was a pirate. He was talking to a tavarn wench and calling her the cazaress of Russia. Dante laughed and the man took that as an insult. "Twelve thirty at the ruins west of the city tomorrow." Dante told him and the man said he would be there.

Dante laughed as he continued his pace down the street. "Ah two duels not bad. I hope they are fairly decent swordsmen. But his thoughts were intrupted as he again bumped into a man in dark clothing. He was handsome and had a neatly trimed beard and hair and his clothing looked a bit rich for the quarter of the city he was in. A pouch of coins fell from the hands of woman in a carriage he had been talking to. He picked it up and handed it to the man. "You dropped something good sir."

The man looked at Dante with fire in his eyes. After a few words that were a bit insulting, Dante had his third duel for the marrow. He continued on to the brothal he was looking for laughing. Ah Paris, a place one could get into trouble just by walking down the street.

Anne frowned as he decided to go out."yeah will do, hope you catch something from a whore."She yelled after him.She rolled her eye's and locked the door behind him.

Anne frowned at her surroundings. She sighed as she went to look through his stuff. He had left some random woman in his home. She shrugged and looked through everything. Not finding anything if use. She fixed his clothing nicer then she found it and cleaned up the room she cleaned and put the dishes away.

Anne made the room more comfortable my making the fire better and went to find the wash room. It was small, she didn't care. She washed up and sighed when she finished. All the dirt and blood were gone,Anne made her way to her bag and pulled out a night gown. She put it on and sighed as she braided her long brown hair to the side."well nothing else to do but sleep."She says. Anne layed down under the covers and fell asleep on her side. She was warm and full.

Her dreams were dark.

Anne's dream: The fire died down and the room had grown cold. Anne woke and looked around. She shivered as she heard a Knock. "Open up."She sighed."okay okay. " she snapped. She opened it and the Cardinals guards came bursting in Lady Anne you are under arrest for treason." They said. She saw Dante and glared he had turned her in. She was taken tortured and then taken to the chopping block.

Anne woke with a start and looked around. The fire was still blazing. She breathed and sighed. She heard knocking and waited to hear if it was him. Other wise she would have to get the hell out and fast.

Dante enjoyed a few hours of pleaaure with the whores and gathered information. There was a lot of gossip about the palace and the Cardinal. He learned more about the man Anne called Roshefort. Indeed he had been a Musketeer. But his greed and desire to be the head of the order made him betray it when he could not. The Cardinal had offered him the position of the Head of his Guard and so he became what he wanted but of a different order. It seemed the Cardinal confided in Roshefort and there fore the man knew all of the Cardinal's secrets. But Roshefort did not seem to enjoy the comforts of the brothals. Perhaps he had some one he kept somewhere. Now that would be the one to talk to.

He returned to his room and knocked on the door. He was a little drunk from the night but not bad. "Open, It is I, Dante." he said Upon the door opening he entered a little unsteady and looked around. The place had been cleaned and things put away. He looked at Anne and shook his head. Just like a woman, had to tidy up even a stranger's home. "Well there is talk about some visitor coming to see the Cardinal in a couple of days. Some one that he is expecting to do something important for him. Also that Roshefort knows everything that goes on with the Cardinal. Since he does not enjoy the ladies of the night he must have one tucked away somewhere. She will know what he knows." he sat down a bit hard in a chair. He reeked of wine and cheap perfume.

Anne opened the door for him and rolled her eye's. She really annoyed by him. She actually rather be caught by the Musketeers. She had cleaned up to make it look like she hadn't been snooping. "Oh by the way you have nothing of value. For any one to take, glad I could be of service."She said. Anne sighed and went to his bed and curled up under the covers. "Like said earlier hope you caught something. She said smelling the wine and perfume on him.

Anne rolled over and closed her eye's. She wasn't in the mood to even talk to him. She sighed and moved her hair revealing a tattoo on the back of her neck it was a dagger with an x in it.She sighed and started to fall asleep. She felt a figure behind her. Anne grabbed the hair piece from her hair and grabbed his wrist."never sneak up on a armed woman. Now what do you want?" she asked him with sharp eye's.

Dante laughed. "I was only making sure you were tucked in." he gave a sweeping bow and almost lost his footing. He went to the wardrobe and took out some extra blankets and placed them on the floor by the fire. "Nothing of value." he chuckled. "Well then my hiding place is a good one and my valuables are safe." He unbuckled his sword belt and removed his boots and hat and then got himself comfortable for the night. "Oh and tomorrow will be a busy one for me. Seems I have three duels to deal with." Again he chuckled, "Some true enjoyment."

Morning came and the light of the morning sun came through the window and into his eyes, waking him. He sighed and slowly kicked off the blankets and rose to his feet, streaching. He looked over at Anne and smiled, "Well good morning to you." he said to her. "I hope you slept well." He put the pot of left over stew over the fire, and put some more wood on it to get the food hot and asked, "You going to go do something illegal today? I have my duels and if I am not mistaken, isn't that against the Cardinals new rules?" He was in a very good mood. He stirred the stew and tasted it to see if it was hot enough and then dished up some for the two of them and sat the bowls on the table.

Anne rolled her eye's. "I found it. Like I said nothing of value. 3 duels you are really trying to kill yourself aren't you. "She said and Went back to laying down. Ahe rolled her eye's and fell asleep in his bed. She was annoyed with Dante. He really was of no use to her.

In the morning she woke nd stayed in the bed, she layed back on her back and sighed. She needed something to do to day. She heard him get to his feet and looked over."morning, nothing illegal today, but may take your secret stash as insurance and watch you die in your duels today. Fringe benefit, and yup it is one of his new rules."She said Anne got up and removed her night gown and grabbed her clothes. Black pants and boots. She didn't care if he watched her change. She put on a white puffy shirt and a corset vest. She tied it in the front and turned around. " so lets eat and watched get skewed, might be the highlight of my day."She said

Death to all betrayers

"What no faith in your rescuer? Now that is dishartening." he said and pulled his boots on. He ate and took a piece of bread the clean the bowl and ate it. He did watch her get dressed and grinned. She had a pleasing body with curves in the right places and ample breasts. Yes indeed she would make a man happy, that is if she did not skewer him first. He didn't think she found his hiding place for his valuable possessions. His Gold and his sword he had taken from his father's home, before the Kings men could take everything. Dante pressed on a pannel on the wall and it popped open. Removing it he replaced his sword with the other one. It had been made for his father by the finest swords smith in England. Now it was all he had left to remind him of his father. He took out a few coins and put the rest back in and replaced the board. "Now for a bit of shopping so we can have something to do before it is noon and my first duel."

He put his hat on and went to the door and opened it. "After you my lady." he grinned and waved a hand to the open door. Shopping was an easy thing to do. Fresh bread, some fruit, vegtables and some meat. Nothing fancy, but it was something one had to do every day. By the time it was noon he had what he wanted and claimed his horse from a stable near his room. He pulled her up behind him and took off to the old ruins. There he waited to see if the three would actually show up.

Indeed the three of them showed up together, which he thought a bit strange. "Well now he actually showed up. The man with the Sandy Hair said. The man that looked as if he could be a pirate said, "You can not fight this man, I have a duel with him."

"Not until twelve thirty." Duncan chuckled.

"I to have a duel with him." the well dressed and groomed one spoke up.

"Not till one. But of course that time frame may be sped up when I am done with this one." he pointed to the sandy haired one with the point of his sword. The man drew his sword and approached. They touched swords in a salute and then they were at it. The flash of steel and the ringing of steel filled the air as they moved about. It seemed that neither one could find a hole in the other's defenses. The other two leaned against stone walls and then spotted Anne. "Well now Porthos it seems he has brought someone we know of." The dark haired man said and pointed t0 Anne.

Anne sighed as he pulled out his stash."yes as a professional thief as the paper says.I found all that, but like I said of no interest to me."She says. She put her cloak on and ate."shopping great every girls dream."She said and walked out putting her hood up.

She followed him out and went shopping. With him she looked over the fruit and couldn't help but taking something. She slipped it under her cloak. When he gave her a look. Anne handed to him. When it was shut before noon he got on a horse and held out his hand to her.

They rode to where he was meeting the people he was dueling. She raised and eyebrow and jumped down when they got there."you crossed blades with the Athos, Porthos and Aremis you really do have a death wish."She said. Anne looked at them."Here you been looking for me, done sitting on your asses or do I have to still do your job?"She asked and watched them.

"Ah they have names do they. And pray tell me who they are, and why would I have a death wish?" He moved around looking for an opening. Evidently she thought that they were important people or some great swordsmen. The one he was fighting was not bad, he was actually holding his own against Dante. He was getting the work out he had desired and was enjoying it very much.

The pirate looking one spoke up, "Oh come on Athos, stop playing with him." the one he called Athos looked at the man with a look and the one spoke again. "Oh I see." he turns to the other man, It looks like Athos has met his match. What do you think Aremis?" his voice was joval and almost anoying but he liked it. He turned to Anne, "Well we are saving ourselves for the day we can bring the Cardinal down. We can't do that if were are in the dungeons, now can we."

That was when the fun ended. There was the sound of horsemen and men with Red surcoats bearing the Cardinals emblem rode up. "Cease and Desist. Dueling is outlawed. Lay down your weapons. You are all under arrest. Athos stepped back from Dante and he did the same. They both turned towards the Cardinals Guard. Ten of them sat on their horses. The one called Aremis turned to the pirate looking man that had to be Porthos. "Ten against three, Good odds." Athos joined the other two and Dante chuckled. "Make that four against ten."

"They were Musketeers who were in there prime before the new law." She said."boy knows how to choose his death." Anne said and shrugged. "No but sitting on your asses nothing either." She said.

Anne heard the hooves she turned." Oh great."she muttered. She his her face as they said this. She listened to them speak."make that five, count me out because I am a woman and I will run you through." She said."were all implicated here and well, we are all going to die if you don't. "She said.

Anne watched the four men and sighed her eyes were sharp and dark. she was going to help weather they liked it or not. Anne sighed." Your choice." She said. Anne sighed and gave them all a dark glare, she wasn't a woman to be played with. She knew they take the choice of fighting with her. When they finally agreed she pulled her sword when they did and shrugged. Anne found fighting almost as pointless as the cardinal.

Death to all Betrayers

"Musketeers? Well now, it seems I have gotten my wish." he said before the Cardinals men showed up. When she put her sword into argument, he grinned and chuckled. "Well now seems like we have them outnumbered." He looked at the Cardinals men. "You will just have to make us surrender." and moved up next to the three Musketeers. They looked at him and Arthos looked at the other two. "He can handle himself." and laughed. The Cardinals men dismounted and Dante montioned for Anne to join them as they faced the on coming men. "Now we will see how good you are with that blade." Dante told her and chuckled.

The ten Cardinals men approached, swords drawn. They came at them two on each. Dante engaged his two and his blade wove a web of steel fending off both of their blades. They were not bad but from the start he knew he had them. All he had to do was whittle them down to one and the fight would be over. With two on him that was more difficult. One on one the fight would have been over in a couple minutes but with two he had to keep his eyes moving and his blade as well. But he did manage to force them back several paces and then he saw his opportunity. A large stone from the wall, half burried, lay behind them. It would be able to trip one and then he would have his chance to finish them both off. The one tripped over it as expected as he made a sudden lunge and forced the man to step back. He fell backwards and then he concentrated on the one standing. It did not take long before he was laying in a pool of blood. The other one tried to get away but Dante stopped him and finsished him off. Then he turned and watched the rest of the fight. He looked to see how Anne was doing and smiled. He knew that the three musketeers would have no trouble dealing with their opponents.

Anne rolled her eye's. She stepped up with a sword."you sir are so far behind its a wonder you get out of bed every morning." Anne said. She sighed. Men were so annoying. To her with on last huff she looked at the Cardinals men. "Also true test is to see how you handle a sword.they already know I am deadly." She said. Porthos leaned in." She has a point."He said. "See."She said.

She watched the men approach She sighed and clashed her sword with there's. She fought as well as any man.She was backed up to a wall."oh poor me two men and a poor girl." She dropped her sword close to her and raised her hands slowly behind her head."I give up, just one thing first." She took the dagger from her hair that looked like a hair piece. She hurled it at one and hit him in the head."well thats one."She says she ducked as the other came at her.She picked up her sword and rolled away standing. "Come now fair is fair" she said. Her sword crossed blades with the soldiers sword. She backed him up to a low hanging beam. She jumped up grabbing it and kicked him to the ground. She landed over him."sorry, but a girl just beat you."She says and runs him through with her sword. She rolled her eye's and walked towards where the men were. There jaws were dropped. "Close your jaws before you get flys in there"she said and nods." Athos Porthos Aremis. Pleasure doing business with you. "She said and shrugged.

Porthos looked over at her grinning from ear to ear as he fought his last man. "She can handle a sword well, She is arrogant and full of her self, I like her." he laughed and then kept at his man. Aremis raised a brow and said, "Don't let it go to your head." and finished off his last opponent and watched the other two fight. It was over in a few minutes and the three moved to Anne and Dante. "We had best be gone from here before more arrive. Can't have the Cardinal haveing the satisfaction of seeing us hanged." Arthos spoke up and grinned. "Come let us be off, and you two had best come with us as well."

Wiping his blade on one of the Guards clothing he resheathed his and went to his horse, as did the other two. Dante moved to his and mounted up. There were ten good horses standing about, but they were those of the Cardinal's Guard and any seen riding one would be in big trouble, so again he hoisted Anne up behind him. "Looks like you got yourself into some trouble today anyways." Dante laughed. "I actually enjoyed all of this. Haven't had this much fun in a long time." He put his heels to the flanks of his horse and followed the three musketeers. He then caught up to them and rode beside Arthos.

"We have not been properly introduced. I am Arthos, that is Porthos, and the brooding one there is Aremis."

"I am Dante." Dante introduced himself.

Arthos' eyes narrowed a bit, "You are not French, though you speak the language well."

"No." Dante said. "I am Dante Worthington, son of Thomast Worthington, Earl of Worthington."

At that Aremis raised a brow. "I know that name. A good man, even though he is English. We have heard about his arrest." he looked over at Dante, "I will not hold it against you for being English. You have the heart and skill of a Frenchman."

Dante laughed and nodded his head in acknowlegement. They rode back into the city and to a place that was larger then Dante's. It had a couple of rooms and two fire places. Porthos immediately went to a cupboard and brought out wine and filled glasses. "Thirsty work fighting the Cardinals Guard." he grinned and downed his glass and filled it again.

Anne smiles at Porthos and winks at him."oh good I don't mind you either Porthos. "She grinned and laughed. They were very interesting group of men that had wanted her dead and now they were impressed by her. She got up on Donates horse."believe it or not I dont actually try to get into trouble. Just kinda finds me."She said

Anne grumbled at his next comment. "The boy thinks almost dieing is fun great he is mental."she thought with a roll of her eye's. She clung to his back as he rode. She didn't have any where else to hold and well they were all going the same place.

Anne listened to the men as they talked. She sighed and hid her face into Dantes back and just let them talk. She raised a brow whwn he said his family and name. She however did not say anything.

Anne got off his horse and went inside the room and sat down. She put the cloak on the back of the chair and played with her hair piece dagger. She chuckled as Porthos got them wine. She took it and drank it slowly.
