“I think I’ve seen it a few times.” I tell you with a smile because I could see how excited you were about watching the movie and I could see it was obviously your favorite movie.

Snow smiled and said “I grew up watching it. It was the first movie my parents took me to see when I was a child.”

(It’s 12pm but good morning lol)

“My parents never took me to see movies. If I wanted to see a movie I’d go with one of my nanny’s or I’d just wait until it was out online somewhere.” I give you a soft smile even though what I said sounded bad but nanny’s were normal for me.

Snow pulled her closer and said “We’ll just have to go see a movie soon won’t we. The theater here is a nice size though slightly smaller than the ones in Charlotte.”

I raise an eyebrow with a little smile. “Are you asking me on a date?” I asked in more of a teasing way but I really was curious if we could see that as a date.

Snow smiled and said “Yes I am. Would you like to?” Harlow was the first girl he’d asked out since he was 21 and he was curious to what her answer would be

I look over at you and I give you a bright smile. “I’d love to go on a date with you. I’ll wear my new dress and maybe I can buy somethings to do my hair and makeup.” I always loved making myself look nice whenever I went out somewhere but now I don’t have my tools to do so.

Snow squeezed her gently before grabbing another piece of pizza and saying “I’m glad you want to. You’re the first person that I’ve asked out in a long time. You ready to watch the movie?”

“Well you’re the first person to ask me out in a while so I guess it’s a first for us both.” Of course I wasn’t going to tell you that my last date was at a five star restaurant. Even though the food was good the date was awful and I think our date will be good without it being fancy. “Yes let’s watch it.” I cuddle closer turning to the screen.

Snow pressed play and thought about their potential future while they were watching. Harlow wasn’t the typical type of girl he normally went after but she did have a sweet side and they wanted the same things. Kids, marriage, to be with the same person till the end..if this worked out it’d be probably the best relationship either of them had ever had. All four of his relationships had turned sour due to the girl he was dating picking up a bad habit or betraying him. He had a feeling though that Harlow wouldn’t betray him and that she would decide to stick by him through it all if they made it through the month.

I was watching the movie closely trying to remember if I’ve ever seen it and my arm slides across your chest so it’s basically wrapped around your mid section. I can hear your heart beating in your chest and it sounded almost soothing to me. You were very comfortable and despite knowing you for only a short amount of time I felt safe with you. Was this going to be my forever? Did I want it to be? I was still debating on whether I wanted to get married in a month or not. Would you still be with me if I didn’t want to get married but wanted to further our relationship? Eventually I’m so relaxed that I end of falling asleep on your chest.

Snow looked down as the movie ended and noticed that she had fallen asleep and smiled. He got up carefully and carried her upstairs to the bed and laid her down. Then he covered her up and went back down to put the food up and turn off the tv. He was up for a couple more hours doing random things around the house before he went to bed as well.

I groggily woke up to the sound of the raining coming down on the house and I look out the window seeing it’s pouring like crazy. I reach for my phone seeing it’s about 2am in the morning and as I look around I realize I’m in bed. Did you bring me up here? I felt a little bad for falling asleep during the movie. My head snaps to the door when I hear a creaking sound but I guess it’s just the old house. I almost jump out of my own skin when I hear a crack of thunder sound through the house. I glance outside seeing lightening along with the trees waving from the whipping winds. I sit up in bed and I just curl up on myself. After a while I decided to go find you and maybe I could sleep with you.

My feet touch the cold floor and I walk through the dark house being very scared of this new place. I would jump every time thunder would shake the house and I eventually found your bedroom. I noticed you were fast asleep in the bed and I just quickly slipped in beside you. I hoped I didn’t wake you up as I cuddled into your chest.

Snow was used to hearing the thunder here so it didn’t really wake him up. When Harlow slipped into bed with him, he woke up just enough to wrap his arm around her, pull her closer, and fall back asleep.

When you woke up and pulled me closer I felt so much better. I cuddled closer into your chest and I closed my eyes. A fell back asleep after a few minutes of feeling the soothing rhythm of your chest rising and falling as you slept.

The next morning when Snow woke up it was still raining and the room was still dark due to the cloud cover. He looked down at the girl sleeping with him and smiled. He loved having her beside him like this. He ran his fingers over her soft hair and kissed the top of her head before closing his eyes and dozing as he listened to the soft sounds of falling rain

I didn’t wake up anymore during the night and it was like you were shielding me from everything outside that scared me. I was a pretty light sleeper so when you ran your hand through my hair and kissed my head my eyes fluttered open. I look up at you and I see you settling back down to fall asleep again. I just relaxed against you and smiled because this felt nice. I think I could do this forever and be fine.

It was almost 1 when Snow finally had to get up to go use the bathroom. Harlow was still asleep when he had gotten up so he headed downstairs to make some waffles. He was standing at the window above the kitchen sink watching the rain when he felt her arms wrap around him from behind.

I woke up a few minutes after you did and my hair was a hot mess on my head but I didn’t care right now. I made my way downstairs to find you and when I found you I smiled. I walked over to you and I sneaked up behind you. I wrap my arms around your waist and I lean my head on your back. “Good morning.” I whisper softly to you.

Snow smiled and whispered back “Goodmorning sweetheart. How’d you sleep?” He loved the feeling of her arms around him.

I pull my arms away and I move so I’m standing beside you because I wanted to see your face. “I slept wonderfully beside you. Thank you for letting me stay.” I felt bad for invading your bed but I would have felt worse if you had told me to leave so I was relieved that you didn’t. “The storm scared me and being in a new place was scary too.” I admit to you being a little ashamed about still being scared of thunder at 24.

 

[SnowAshe]

“I would never turn you away if you wanted to sleep next to me. I slept better than I have in a long time thanks to you sleeping in there with me. And hey if you’d like me to, I could join you upstairs so you don’t have to sleep alone. I know it can be kinda nerve racking sleeping in a bed alone here. Especially with the forest right outside.”

When you offered to stay in the bed with me upstairs it made me smile and I nod my head a little to eagerly. “I’d love for you to join me from now on but just a fair warning I usually sleep with just my bra and panties on. Last night I fell asleep on the couch with you so I didn’t get to take my clothes off. If you want me to sleep with clothes on that is fine I just usually don’t.” We were both grown adults and we were also of two opposite genders which could lead to certain certain feelings developing. We just met each other and I don’t want to make you uncomfortable if you weren’t ready to see me almost naked.

Snow pulled her close and said “How about this. How about we each sleep how we’re most comfortable and see where things go from there?” Snow was honestly fine with her sleeping how she normally did. He always slept with pajama pants and a tshirt on because of the house he grew up in.

I place my hands on your shoulders and I look into your eyes. I raise an eyebrow when say see where things go but I don’t say anything about it and I just nod smiling. “Okay that sounds good.” I don’t know why I was tempted to kiss you but I was and so I slowly pull myself away to distance myself. “When are we going grocery shopping?” I asked moving to sit at the table.
