It’s been a long few months but they’ve also been the best few months of my life. We were getting closer and closer to our baby joining us here on earth. I was 34 weeks pregnant which meant our baby could be here in 3 weeks if they wanted to come that early. They could be here in 6 weeks too on their due date. I was hoping they’d come at least at 37 weeks because that’s me being full term and even though I loved my baby these last few weeks were kicking my ass. I felt huge with my bump and it was getting quite painful and uncomfortable. I was barely sleeping anymore and I’ve been having Braxton Hicks contractions like crazy.

Today me and Julie were doing a little maternity shoot together with our husbands of course. Julie was 38 weeks pregnant with her little boy and she could go into labor at any time now. I was so excited for her and her little belly was so cute. She was an adorable pregnant lady and I couldn’t wait to meet her son.

We were taking pictures in the woods near the house because it was such a beautiful area and we were wearing similar dresses but if different colors. We both had our hair and makeup done. Someone you guys knew was a photographer and they were taking our pictures.

The past few months had been pretty crazy with Snow and Harlow’s baby on the way, Snow’s books getting even more popular, Julie about to have her baby in a couple weeks, and the baby shower for Harlow coming up.

Snow, David, Theo, Jessie, and Alexis were all at the maternity shoot for Harlow and Julie. Snow’s friend Jennifer was taking the pictures for them while Snow and David were unintentionally making Harlow and Julie laugh.

Me and Julie would occasionally look over at you and David causing us to laugh which caused her to get pictures of that. After some shots of me and Julie together we did separate pictures of just our individual selves.

Then I come over to you and Julie takes some pictures with David. I cuddle with you while we wait for our turn to take pictures together and I kiss you smiling. “This is fun. I think baby like it they’re kicking up a storm.”

Snow smiled and said “I’m glad. I can’t wait for them to arrive. Only a few more weeks until our child will be here. We’ll have to start planning on finding a new place soon. A three bedroom cabin isn’t big enough for the family we’re planning on having.”

“Ah I can’t believe so much time has passed and we’ll have a baby in a couple of weeks. I’m going to be pushing a little human out.” My mind was blown at that thought and I also couldn’t wait to meet our baby. When you mention moving houses I nod looking over at the other couple. “We’ll give this baby at least a year in the this house before we look somewhere else? I’m thinking we do a year or two year age gap between children.”

“That works for me. I’m still in the process of saving up anyway. David, Theo, and I have all been talking about trying to find houses close to eachother so the kids can grow up close together. Or build our own houses close together.”

“We should build houses I think that sounds really fun. We could find some nice land and all buy it together.” I think it would be interesting and I’d love to see how that is. The photographer calls me and you over to take pictures now.

The pictures didn’t take long to take and before long the group were sitting around talking and laughing when all of a sudden Julie let out a gasp

I hear Julie gasp and I glance over at her. My eyes widen when I see the front of her dress has a little wet stain running down. “You didn’t pee yourself did you?” I asked her and she shakes her head. “Nope that’s my water and it just broke.”

David’s eyes widened when Julie said her water broke and with Snow’s help they got her to the car. About thirty minutes later the group arrived at the hospital. David and Julie were taken to a room while Snow and the others waited in the waiting room.

I waddles helplessly behind you guys and I climb into the car with everyone. Julie was in pain in the backseat and David was coaching her through her breathing techniques. Once at the hospital everything seemed to move so fast and soon enough we were waiting in the waiting room while David and Julie were in their room. “This could take hours.” I tell you as I cuddle into your side and massage my belly.

Snow leaned back and said “Yeah it could. But they’re family and I don’t mind waiting.” Theo looked over and said “I agree. But I think Jessie and I are going to find food. We’re both starving. There’s a chick fil a right up the road that sounds good. Do y’all want anything?” Snow nodded and said “You know what I usually order there. Harlow would you like anything?”

I couldn’t wait to meet their little baby and see his precious face. I couldn’t wait to meet our baby either but we had a little bit longer to wait here. When Theo mentions getting food my stomach was grumbling and I was absolutely starving but lately it feels like I’m never full but then if I eat too much I get sick. “I’ll take some chicken nuggets and a chicken sandwich with no pickles with some water.” I tell Theo with a smile and I try to stand up but it’s a struggle. “I need to use the bathroom help please.” I hold my hands out to you.

Theo and Jessie nodded and said “We’ll be back.” Snow helped her up as they left and walked with her to the bathroom. He was ready for their kid to be here.

I use the bathroom pretty quickly and I breath heavily because even doing simple tasks now took my breath away. I wash my hands after I’m done and I come out of the bathroom smiling at you. “Our little bean is wiggling in excitement to meet their new best friend.” I tell you smiling and I give you a deep kiss. “Now to waddle back to our seats.”

Snow chuckled as they walked back to where they were sitting. “Soon David and Julie’s kid will be here and then in a couple weeks our little girl will be here too. And in a year or so, we’re going to have two little rascals runnin around making everyone do their bidding.” He laughed while he said the last part.

I giggle at what you say and I intertwine our fingers loosely. “You’re so dead set on us having a little girl. If it pops out a boy what are we going to do?” I asked teasingly and once we get back to our seats I sink into my chair. I massage my belly and I prop my feet up on the table that has magazines on it.

Snow shrugged and said “Name him Snow Jr? I’m kidding. I just know we’re going to have a girl. I can feel it in my bones.”

While the others were waiting, David was in the room with Julie. She was having contractions and squeezing his hand extremely tight.

I laughed at what you said and I just shrug. “I think so too but we’ll see in a few weeks.” I lay my head on your shoulder and I close my eyes.

Julie was having a lot of contractions and almost screaming in pain. She was going to try doing it naturally without an epidural but she was starting to think about asking for it since she was only 4 centimeters dilated and she could stay at a 4 for a few hours.

About thirty minutes later, Theo and Jessie had returned with food and the four of them, along with Jessie’s daughter were all eating. They were just about done when David came out to give them an update on how it was going
