Eric was traveling the seas on his ship, he laughed and fooled around with the other men aboard. He loved being on his ship, everything bothering him just seemed to go away when he was on the open ocean. His dog Max came over and licked his face which made him laugh and smile. He pet the furry mutt.

Ares was swimming fast. Most of the Merpeople enjoyed swimming, Ares didn't really care one way or the other, it was the only way that he could move through space and that made it good enough. Flounder was swimming along his side complaining,


"don't be a Guppy!" Ares laughed, Suddenly coming to a fast stop at a large rock he peeked over it an saw a large shape moving in the water, he couldn't tell if it was in on, or over the water. His eyes widened. "Humans..." He whispered and began to follow from a long distance. Hiding behind rocks and yet never taking his eyes off the shape. He had been headed to an old shipwreck to look at dead humans but there were live ones on this thing. His father's voice boomed 'Do not go above water Ares.' He may not be able to help himself.

He smiled and talked with everyone when suddenly a song was played and everyone was dancing, he was brought into it as well and Max wandered off smelling something fishy... or more particularly someone fishy, he followed his nose and looked at Aries and Flounder wagging his tail and barking. "Arf!, Arf!"

Ares slipped above the surface and held on to a rock there was a strange little thing barking up at him, or down rather. Ares dared to swim closer, pulling himself up to peek into the deck of the ship. The fur thing came up and put a very very wet nose on him.


"Hi..." His voice felt very dry, it was weird to talk out of the water. He patted the fur thing, it shook it's self and went back to the... Man....

Max barked at Eric "What is it boy?" he barked again and pointed his head in the direction that he found the strange merman. He wondered what the dog was trying to show him "Huh?" he followed the dog into their direction.
