That was me. Since it was a first age vessel that is probably more impressive than even the 5-metal Shrike, it should probably should be able to move fast. I can get the ship while everyone else goes to fetch the prince. The capsule only has room for one after all. If I get the ship working in time, I'll either meet you at the Prince's location with or without the ship or pick the rest of you guys up for a ride to the location to speed things up. Also, I updated my log since I made a couple of mistakes post exaltation. It includes my missing 5th favored ability: Sail.
 
I have no preference, although it is kind of a good thing to have the Tri-Kahn owe you one.


Speaking of Ships, considering how I'm the Eclipse Caste it's likely that I'll be the one buying the Sail Charms. Would it be alright if we use This rewrite here? The current Sail charms are pretty... lackluster, to put it politely.
 
I still need to know if Ajani is going to go alone to get his ship. To face what perils are down there alone


EDIT: Also guys please feel free to take creative license, don't wait for me to say "And the heroes rode off into the sunset to save the prince"... please feel free to say "I get my horse and I start riding south" and such so I have action items to give you :P


This was a quick update, I meant to get a few of your guys story hooks in but couldn't just yet.
 
I think you were missing in H towards the end in the hidden message, but I got the gist of it. Nice way to show my favorite charm in use!
 
Guess I have no choice but to go down there alone. I just have to use the capsule to get down there. Thanksfully most of my charms are combat based.
 
I'd personally wait till after we rescue the son. I'm sure we'd be happy to help, but if you were this nuthouse twilight I'd really really suggest you do not go by yourself. First age Twilights were scary people. Between Automatons, fixed defences, bound demons, and if the GM is evil (read awesome) then maybe a biotechnic being that consumes bones and makes tea cups out of them.
 
While death is possible in my game, as I feel this makes the game even better when you achieve things, I won't outright kill you if four people were meant to go down a tunnel of doom. I will say that there will be times where I will recommend against an action that for common sense sake says you need your whole circle and you still refuse, but for the most part I will scale encounters. If you guys want to go your separate ways they will scale, but depending on what they are it could be harder. For instance I will not change things that require social communication and you leave your Eclipse home to do the dishes, likewise I won't change gears on an automaton if you chose to not take your Twilight, so in that respect you may need to find new ways around it.


Okay, I know I haven't updated for a full day so expect a large one today with you guys going your separate ways, story hooks for those who haven't posted yet (some times there is no reason for a person to post), and pushing you on into the south along with into the tunnels. Since your eclipse decided to stay I will have to think of developing stuff that will be happening at home. :)
 
The problem is that the only way I can get to the ship is via the capsule, which only fits one person. Unless there's some other way to get down there I kinda have to do it alone.
 
I got no problem with you going alone and in fact my make the game a little better sometimes since this is PbP.... there are always other ways to get in though :)
 
Alright, got all my charms ready just in case that I have to fight once I get down there. I can learn all the crafting stuff later on, I can't craft if I'm dead.

He might change his mind though (and opt not to stay back alone) after Takeno's warning of the approaching Wyld Hunt, since things could get pretty dangerous pretty fast.
 
I think Seeker is heading off on his lonesome, Jay is staying to help the Tri-Khan, and the rest of us are going after the son. I've volunteered mounts as I wish to stop at my tribe on the way to our final destination?
 
Alright, once folks update, mainly JayTee I will continue you guys along. Will Rowan go with the sand lady?


EDIT: JayTee's line lines up with someone else, that's why I need him. Regularly I would just move on.
 
Sure, I'll post for that. Anyway, since I have unspent background points, and Orichalcum weapons have apparently been made, could I spent some on Artifacts?
 
Of course, I should say that any of you who have spent points on Artifacts, now would be the time to take them from the tribal men. You can also make up your own way that you get them. Takeno may be a different story and he will get his weapons/armor in due time. Though I have not hinted to hard at it, he's noticed no one has tried to contact him since his vision and even the vision cut off abruptly as if someone hung up the phone while speaking.
