The Last of the Guardians (Nightsong and The Queen)

"I collected the logs like you asked Sia...anything else" He asked her and her pulled out a lighter he had and flicked it a few times before siging. "Of course it won't work..." He muttered. "You have a way to make a fire at all?" He asked her

"Says, the guardian of light." Sia scoffed. "First lesson, if you gather enough energy, as in light energy." Sia began holding out her hand. "You can create heat." She directed her hand towards the logs and they began to smoke under a light, and caught fire. "Just draw the energy into your palm. Its like breathing in air, just a little more magical. Sia took Arisatos hand to show him,but immediately dropped it. The touch caused her to shake with energy. "What the?" Sia grabbed his hand again and felt a buzz of energy run through her.

"Um...is something wrong?" He asked as he looked at her. "Listen I don't think I'll be able to create a fire...but I can cause vines to appear ad hel me if that's something" Arisato said before looking at her hand. "Her hand is shaking...is it because of me?" He thought to himself before getting his hand away. "Alright I'll try to make a fire" He said as he started to draw energy into the palm of his hand.

"Uh, um I'm fine just.. yeah." Sia stuttered and turned away. What just happened, was this boy safe? "I'm gonna go to bed, you got first watch. Sia mumbled before lying on the ground. What was wrong with her?

"Um...alright then" He said as he sat on the ground. "Why is she acting so strange now" He thought as he looked at the trees. "I shouldn't really bother about that...I should just stay silent about it" He said to himself

Sia lay on the ground awake, unable to get to sleep. She closed her eyes, and tried to forget about the power she had felt. 'Its going to be okay.' She reassured herself, but ever since he died she was feeling less and less hopeful.

Arisato looked at the symbol for a bit and sighed. "Once this is all over...this worlds life will be safe and I can go home...but what about the power then...will it leave me when this is all over or will I need to stay here" He asked himself

Once Sia drifted to sleep the nightmares began. She shifted and began to scream as memories flooded into her. "Away!" she screamed in her sleep as she thrashed around. "Go Away!"

Arisato looked at her and went over to her before trying to wake. "Sia...SIA wake up it's just a bad dream" He said trying to wake her from the nightmare she was having.

SIa heard a voice and tried to reach towards it, but the darkness kept pulling her back. She began to breath heavily, her body trembling. She watched as he died, over an over.

"SIA WAKE UP" He yelled before putting his hand to her forehead and started to stop the nightmare. "You can clear peoples mind from darkness and nightmares if you so wish" A voice spoke within his head.

Sia's eyes snapped open and she flew up breathing heavily. "He, he's gone and he, he's not coming back and, it's all my fault." Tears began to steam down her cheeks as she tried to cover her face with her hands

"Sia calm down it's not your fault....he may be gone but it's isn't your fault it's that king and his soldiers fault if you want to blame someone blame them not yourself" Arisato said.

Sia took a deep breath and turned to Arisato and took a breath wiping her eyes. "Uh, you can sleep for now I'll take second watch." Sai stood up without giving him time to respond. He had seen her in her weekday state. He was the only one except for him who had seen her like that. Sia sat down by the fire and began to warm her hands while examining the flames.

Arisato laid down. "Alright...wake me up if something is wrong alright" He said as he closed his eyes falling half way asleep. "It makes me wonder...why was I chosen though? If that spirit came to Earth why chose me? Was it because I would be less expected or something" He thought to himself. He had so many unanswered questions.

The next morning Sia still sat awake her eyes red and stinging. "Arisato wake up we have to get moving." She announced her face stoic. Ever since the dream Sia had been in a bad mood. No a terrible, horribly, terrifying mood. She stomped out the remaining ashes swinging her satchel over her shoulder. She just wanted to get moving, the only way she could go was forward. She needed revenge. Revenge against the king.

Arisato woke up and got up as he yawned. "ALright let's get moving" He said as he followed behind her. "She's not in a good mood at the moment apparently" He said to himself as he kept walking. "Must have been from the nightmare last night" He thought before looking at the sky

Sia continued walking quietly. She looked around making sure they were not being followed. After being in the fresh air her anger had settled and she turned towards Arisato. "This is a good place we should train here.

"Alright" Arisato said. "I need the training anyways...I also been meaning to ask but...when this is all overe will the spirit leave me or will I keep the spirit and have this power in me forever" Arisato said as he looked at the sky.
