The Last of the Guardians (Nightsong and The Queen)

[The Queen]

"If I left you at earth then the others would have eventually found you. Plus you would have had no idea the power was inside you if I hadn't come. It would have just kept growing inside you because you never would use it. After a while it would be too much for your body to hold and you would die. That's why I have to start training you immediately." She explained, leaning back.


"So, are you still mad?"

 

[Eiko]

Arisato thought for a moment and sighed. "No I'm not mad....just a bit overwhelmed now" He said as he sighed. "Why me though....what is so special that I was chosen to go through all of this...I'm just some normal school kid thats all...I'm nothing special....but apparently I am now" He said as he looked at the ground. "So...what are we doing first?" He asked her

 

[The Queen]

"First we sleep, we'll find out why you are chosen tomorrow. Your room is the second door to your left on the third floor. There should be a fresh set of normal clothes so change into those tomorrow." Sia stood up and yawned. "Goodnight!" She waved and tromped up the stairs going into the first room. How was she going to train him tomorrow? This should be fun!

 

[Eiko]

"Alright then..." He said as he went to his room and sighed. He soon went off to bed before waking up again at midnight and sighed before looking at his hand. "Damn it....why me" He whispered before he got out of bed and went outside silently before looking at the symbol. "I brought up a barrier so...." He closed his eyes and the barrier appeared again. "If I can do that...what else can I do" He asked himself before focusing his power before a sword of light appeared. "Sweet..." He whispered as the blade disappeared. "What else can I do..."

 

[The Queen]

Sia got up around four in he mourning. She pulled on her boots hoping o hit markets early before the patrol moved through. The past night hadn't been so good. Her head aches from the sounds of screams echoing in her dreams almost as if they were real. 'Bing us back, save us!' These words had been repeated again and again for the last two weeks causing her sleep to be restless.


Sis snuck quietly toward he door hoping not to wake the new guardian. She slipped on her cloak and headed downstairs tucking some money and a knife in her satchel.

[Eiko]

Arisato was still awake from last night as he sighed. "I wonder if I'll ever be able to get home again" He asked himself as he sat up and sighed. "I fucking hate it here...I just want to live normal and now look...in some different world about to use light as a weapon and being hunted down just for existing" Arisato said

 

[The Queen]

Sia slipped out the door heading into the small alley. She made sure to check her surroundings, as she spotted a wanted of her on a nearby building. "Shit." She mumbled when her foot hit a large rock. The pain slid up her toe spreading through her foot. Sia had many battle scars but stubbing her toe was the weak point. As she continued she finally reached a store with a moon symbol on it. A safe house. She opened the door and her eyes widened. "No."


The shelves were knocked over and scorch marks covered the interior. Sia knelt down picking up some of the ash, which was still hot. Fresh. It was then that she realized that this fire was a warning. "ARISATO!" She screamed sprinting towards her hideout.

 

[Eiko]

He looked out the window and sighed before he got up and changed his clothes into the ones he was given. "Hopefully What I found out about this power comes in handy" He said before hearing a yell. "Wait...that's Sia" He said as he headed down stairs.

 

[The Queen]

"ARISATO GET OUT OF THERE!" SHe screamed again, nearing the hideout. She saw three men with burning sticks and large swords running towards the house. "HEY, HEY IM OVER HERE!" She screamed but they didn't even look back. "Fuck."

 

[Eiko]

Arisato opened the door and some how on instinct summoned a blaade of light and pushed back. "You know what....I'm tired of running..." Arisato said as he glared at the others. "Now whose first"

 

[The Queen]

Sia ran towards the men and saw a deathly looking Arisato standing at the door. She stopped in her tracks waiting to see what he would do. It was as if she was in a trance, his power commanding her to stop.

 

[Eiko]

Arisato summoned a second blade of light before running forward slicing up on the the men before kicking another one in his gut. "I have been taken from my home and you guys try killing me...people like you need to die" Arisato said before bringing up a barrier blocking an attack. "Bakc off" He their attacks back in form of a explosion of energy.

 

[The Queen]

Sia stood silently watching as he tore the men apart. 'So this is the mother of spirits.' She thought before showing a wicked grin. She liked the mother of spirits. Then an explosion of energy erupted around Arisato and Sia covered her eyes. "That power."

 

[Eiko]

Arisato stood as he looked at the last guy before stabbing him. "When you go to hell...tell the Devil Nomura sent you" He said before tearing the blade out of guy. "Because I'm sick and tired of being hunted"

 

[The Queen]

Sia slowly clapped as she crossed to the boy. "That was a cool punch line. I might steal it." Sia tried to remain cool and not show her amazement. "Sorry about leaving you, and if you can't stand one day of being hunted then you might want to jump into a really big hole and die, because thatsthe only way out my friend." Her tone turned dark towards the end making sure the truth was sucked into him. "If you wanna go home than you have to do more of that." She said pointing towards the destruction he had just created.

 

[Eiko]

Nomura sighed. "Then I guess I have a lot on my plate then" He said as the blade of light disappeared from his hand. "To them I am just prey..." He said before sighing. "Come on they probably sent more or something we should get out" He said. "Then again you know more about this place then I do so you lead the way please" He said

 

[The Queen]

(First person pov.)


Woah, he went from such a baby throwing tantrums to a reasonable person....


"Okay, I know a town near here, it is a day away. We might have to camp." I said, before looking back at the place that had housed me for a year. "Lets go, they'll find out about the others soon." I took off running before saying another word. I hated change.

 

[Eiko]

Nomura followed behind Sia. "If is gets to the point where they start running...they can run...I won't bother chasing...but if they invade my world or they kill anymore people....I'll hunt them down" He said to himself. "Sia...that king needs to die right..." He said before sighing. "Honestly...the quicker he dies the faster peace will return to this world then right"

 

[The Queen]

"Yeah." Sia said. She stayed quiet. He had adapted so quickly, as if he had known this all along. Who was this kid?

 

[Eiko]

"Last night..while you were alseep I tried to train and use this power so I wouldn't be clueless for when we trained today but...I guess I shown you what I can do right now" He siad

 

[The Queen]

"Well for one night of training your pretty good kid." Sia said. "I'm glad your taking this seriously. The people who don't die." I began to run, the path beginning to narrow. after another hour or silent running. (If thats okay.) Sia stopped the forest beginning to get foggy and dark. We'll stay here for the night. Sia announced, "Could you get some logs I got some food and I'll make a barrier for safety." Evern though it was dark Sia felt alive the moon almost full. She smiled lifting her head towards the sky.

 

[Eiko]

"Alright I'll be back then" Minato said as he went into the woods and sighed before looking at the symbol and saw it glow. "What now..." He asked himself before he started to cut down a tree and grab a few logs before vines came up and held them for him. "Huh..I guess that helps" He said to himself as he brought the logs back

 

[The Queen]

Sai zipped through the forest, her body moving silently. She tagged trees letting a thin Ray of light, like a string circle the camp. She used the power from the moon to create a barrier of light that would burn anyone who touched it if they were unwanted. Done. She said after twenty minutes and headed back towards the camp.

Arisato as on the ground breaking up a few of the logs to make a fire before sighing. "You know...I wonder if anyone back on earth even misses me...I wasn't well known there at all" He said to himself before smiling. "Maybe I can have a better time once all this craziness is over with"

 

[The Queen]

Sia walked back towards the camp humming a soft tune. "Arisato huh, kids got guts." She muttered remembering what had happened earlier. She stopped as she saw a figure on the ground. Arisato was collecting logs just as she had asked. She smiled to herself. "at least he's not a slacker."
