Futuristic The Last City

I do agree, but if you think about it his character has trained to be pretty good, and these are normal, sick, enraged people. They're not trained in combat, nor are they superhuman. But I do agree that his character shouldn't be invincible, maybe the bat gets ya in the stomach, @TeaMMatE11?
Also, could the 'wait until two other people post before you Post's thing be a thing here? So that people aren't just chatting it up and so others have time to make well thought out posts?
Whoops. ._. It was late for me when I posted it.

Yus, take turns rule always allows more detailed responses.

@TeaMMatE11[/URL] Not trying to be an ass but your newest post has quite a bit of grammatical errors, that and the fact that your character is being insanely OP. No human being could have that quick of a reaction time. (Example: You killed 3 people then sniped the forth.) Just because your character was orphaned doesn't mean you're mikasa off of AOT.
My character killed 4 and let the fifth run... and she used to be a proper lady. I think if you have some training (or in Portia's case, experience) and superior weapons (or weapons at all) it shouldn't be too hard to take out enraged sick people. If I'm wrong in that regard that's fine, but then TeaMMatE11's character is not the only one that's been OP :P

Well...I'm not fighting very elite people. Plus, if you're going to overhead swing, a usual person would usually have the bat over the head, which telegraphs which way they're going to swing. Therefore, my character should avoid that one.

I'm fine with the way characters handle things as long as you're not thinking of it as like Call of Duty.

Like, taking out 4 people, regardless of who they are, requires a ton of training and experience. If you want your character to be like that, then they have to have their own flaws. Emotional flaws, logical flaws, flaws of any kind.

I think the rebel leader has a flaw that's actually outstanding for her character. I like that character because while she's fighting for the best, and she's a good fighter, she doesn't look ahead. I'm not sure that was planned, but what are you truly fighting for? Not much, which is why she's a great character. She's fighting for something she believes in, but she doesn't plan for the long term.

Whereas Portia is just the perfect person except for their face, but that isn't really a drawback.

o-e I don't care anymore xD Do whatcha want owo But es okay <3 Mistakes happen ^-^

I thought I clarified that the sick people are just as capable as a normal human being. The only thing that puts them on the downside is that the have y'know, pain.

But still, both of them took on atleast 4 people, which is quite inhuman in actual standards. Even though she's the leader of a rebel faction doesn't mean the character has an excuse to be that powerful without taking a single hit, same goes for anybody else. In The Frozen World, I allowed my character to become beaten and broken to make my badass character seem more lifelike.

Yeah, I get that lmao. I'm an accountant who just got their ass beat, so I understand where you're coming from.

On that note, does anyone want to interact with my character in the alley, or can I post?

I'd love to interact with your character, however I'm far from your current position at this moment in time.

Question:

How long does it take for 'the increase rage mentality' and/or 'hostility' to take place?

How long should it be before one would be considered a T.A.V. survivor? Is it based on a certain duration of time or is after passing through symptoms stages 1-3? @.@

i have one info in my bio that I'm trying to make as accurate as possible, for the sake of my first post e.e

Thanks~!

Alright, I'm no longer gonna gripe about characters being OP unless they do something incredibly inhuman like.

It just means they survived through symptoms 1-3.

Hey, it's your RP, if you think something is op you don't even have to enter the debate you just say "Please don't do that anymore" :P

For me it just depends on whether you look at it from the angel of realism or that of character balance.

Realistically speaking, I still think it depends on who you are fighting. A trained soldier or experienced survivalist could easily take on 4 of me, especially if he or she has a weapon and I don't.

In that same way I don't think Portia is perfect, she just happens to be a good person. They exist. I know a few. Add that to her fairly old age giving her a lot of experience and a broad skill-set.

Character balance-wise, I'd be fine to nerf my character if it helps in the interaction with others. Or add a personality flaw if it adds to the tension of the story. This, however, has to do with narrative, not realism.

Just needed to get that distinction off my chest :)

Yeah I know it's my rp, I just like explaining why it's bad, hehe. Your character is quite old, has some up and downsides but is usually good around people. In other words, your character is fine in balance. I just wanted to say not many people can kill over 4 people at once, even less so with 5 with no damage done to you.4

I need to go workout to exhaustion now, be back in a bit :)

To anyone who has a character outside the city wall,

Do you mind if I'll have my character have a brief encounter with yours before finally entering the city?

Danke~!
