Fantasy The Land Of The Rising Sun (OOC Chat)

Havel's got him lmao

Whatcha mean, man!?

Oh, and how do you think Havel and Walter will get along?

:p Figured I would mention that since you said you weren't that into history. But still envy you. I freaking love 13th century knights. My favorite by far. Never get to use them since most people go with the advanced heavy plate.

I actually am into history... it's just the reading part that gets me. The endless endless reading!

Or we can have our fellow traveller help us with that^^
He is a local after all.

I still need to figure out on how the townspeople might react to a demon though.
Well, half demon.
Im gonna reply to this with a fat, sarcastic, ratchet.....

Fuk you think they goona react to dat?

Ah, will save you time, my post is just him being le bodyguard and lots of inner monologing and whining. You are free to skip that post when ready.

Havel grew up in japan but was born and spent most of his childhood in england. So he knows both languages and has an english accent when he speaks. So he could translate better than the scribe would ever be able to. They are also both warriors so I would assume they would get along well. Have some sparring matches, drink, share war stories (not that Havel is that talkative mind you)

Of course, Yasashi always sees the best in people, or tries to at least make them express it.
If they're all prejudice and suspicious it's gonna affect her negatively.
They wont as long as they dont discover her lol. At least, I dont think so. Caution would be the most prominent. After all, she is hauling a huge foreigner whose injured and what not while wearing a. Scary mask

You know what, next time she'll craft herself a mask it's going to have a huge smiley face on it!

Thanks for summarizing. I like playing smart/smarmy guys.

By the way, make sure you give him the ability to make ghosts explode with the power of prayer. I don't think he'll be that useful in a fight against humans and demons, but if he ever bumps into ghosts he'll absolutely curb stomp them. And since the scholar-priest is brilliant as something like Leonardo da Vinci brilliant, he can become something like a Lethal Joke Character if he finds out the weaknesses of his enemies. But of course, Walter has to fight most of the battles first before the scholar-priest can devise something deadly.

Still, with that demon swordsmanship going on with Havel... Walter is probably gonna have his ass handed to him.

The only way Walter can win is if he fights at long range. But if Havel ever gets close, it's game over for Walter.

Havel wont fall into that demon trance unless he's pushed too far. If its just a sparring match, he'll use his own style. Not his master's. He's still a formidable swordsman with little equal but its not the same lol

He can be the simple-minded, dense — though extremely intelligent, and resourceful — poindexter, while Walter's the staff/pan-wielding human/demon-slayer. Basically, scholar — I think I'll name him Francis Eadmund or something — is the brain, Walter is the muscle.

This is gonna be a brilliant, and classic, partnership.

I know lol. Poor girl.

You know ghosts is going be a....practically minimal threat right?

You see, she knows kindness and love but she's more of a demonic vessel for emotion that amplifies it and resonates these notions.
In other words, she didn't have a lot of time to work out her own emotions and feelings.

Walter's probably gonna cheat a few times before realizing he pissed off a demon swordsman...

God have mercy on poor Walter.

They're gonna be vitriolic best buds for sure. These poor bastards will probably disagree on just about any topic you could think of, yet mess with one of them and they'll fight together against you like dogs.

Behold the power of the almighty cross!!!

Hmm, I was thinking that Walter should be an irreverent character. You know, those types that couldn't care any less about gods and spirits as long as things go well for him. The guy doesn't care if there's good and evil in the world, so as long as everything good goes to him and everything bad goes to everyone else.

But still, he finds that it's nice to do something good to a stranger. You know, he believes that the world can be a better place if we're nice to strangers. Shakespeare did say we ought to be better strangers.

Who cares? Francis is gonna make a thousand ghosts explode all at once!

OK OK GUYS. I HAVE TO DO AN ASSIGNMENT NOW. BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I dont know shes gonna handle a town of cautious people now but Im sure with her friendly companions there.....errr
.... companion, since Akechi is scared of them at the moment, she'll be ok.

HOI I know you likely wouldn't have known that I changed her faceclaim for her demon form to put her more in touch with her French heritage. Basically, it now resembles La bête du Gévaudan, a mythical creature that terrorized the region of Gévaudan in like the 18th century or somn. It doesn't change much but thought you'd like to know!

Always waiting on me to post.

I'll have one up later, but I am doing the lovedagger rn. Painting n stuff.
