I've walked (more like limped) about 5 miles to the nearest hospital in the past and it took me about an hour and a half. So it would probably go much faster for these guys.

Dry, laconic writing evokes this sense of integrity and directness — it resonates into your mind deeply yet in a simple manner. While I must admit that I tend to fall victim to antique word devices sometime, and even delve into my character's mind sometimes, I still try my best to make my posts both simple and witty, and secure my position as the author — connect them, and maintain the flow of words, if you get the gist of it.

I recommend you people take this into mind, too. Flowery words and ornate descriptions are not always the best thing.
