I'm feeling hesitant about my first posts. I've gotten so used to dialogue-heavy stuff now. If one thing's for sure, it's gonna look lackluster to the one-page-long posts churned out on a daily basis.

The people at the capital would hear it during the middle of dinner at the very soonest. Distance between cities seems to be dynamic and conforming to the demands of the plot in this case, so we'll have the time needed for a messenger to get there be relatively short. Still, it would take until dinner or so to get the message and until a few hours before sunrise to get to the village in the demon's path.

1. Message sent from destroyed village
2. Demon moves northward on his merry way
3. Capital receives it at dinner
4. Party is immediately sent to intercept him
5. They arrive at the village before sunrise
6. Demon attacks a few hours after sunrise
7. Kitsune and half-demon stumble on the village during this.

Aren't they supposed to be at the grove at nightfall? This means that they would have all missed the summons

GM said that time of arrival doesn't matter, which I think is a good thing.

Yeah time of arrival, but the summons was supposed to happen during the night of the day the rp is set in currently. I was under the impression that between now and nightfall people could get there whenever

I hope too many people don't end up getting into the fight with the north-bound demon at the village right away, lest posts get a bit slow due to so many people being in the same area. We'd have:

• Cosmos
• Kazehana
• And now maybe Cosmo and Cosmosis .

The summoning (whispers in the wind and such) itself happened already beforehand. I'm pretty sure people can still get there past the night, according to GM. Cosmos , can you confirm this?

Yea it would be quite crowded there, maybe we can stagger the points at which our characters arrive to the fight? Perhaps Pika and Kaze's characters encounter Khaoul first before fleeing, then our party encounters him after?

I like that. Then again, the demon just emerged from a forest, and their characters are in a forest. They're probably pretty close to that village anyway, right?

Kaze and Pika's characters? Yes I think they could be fairly close to the village. Seems to me if they were to see that destruction they'd head in the opposite direction and avoid contact at all

As stubborn and headstrong as our characters are, they aren't stupid, so this does make sense. But I think Yu has a personal connection to the village if I'm not mistaken, so that might be a driving force if need be

Ah yes that's true, so at the very least she might want to see the devastation herself and they could get tangled up with the demon that way
Lol I think that's going to be a fun scene, Yu and Aurelie arguing while running for their lives
