The Infinite Arena

The Infinite Arena was a void of an ancient city. It is abandoned and only a victor of a mysterious battle shall escape it. Two Men has been chosen to battle each other. The only problem is that these two are dearest of friends....

 

[SteelPhoenix]

Nix wakes up in the arena. He notices another man in the most strangest clothes that he had witnessed (Jay Michaels). He picks up his swords with the will to fight. Because that is what his heart is saying. He stands infront of the man who has his eyes closed and indian sitting.

 

[Your Ally]

Jay wakes up, he noticed a man unconscious, he known the man for a long time, the man who gave him courage to face the discrimination against him. with regret in mind, he tried to calm down, and meditate. And wait for him to wake up...

 

[SteelPhoenix]

The Knight thinks for a moment and remembered Jay. But his heart has already been set to battle this boy. Unaware of his actions, he attempts to attack the boy with his blade.

 

[Your Ally]

Knowing the man, he dodged, and put his friend in a stasis.

 

[SteelPhoenix]

The knight struggles to speak. With minimal powers of the phoenix god, he had the freedom to speak with the boy "Are you going to keep me in this small cage for eternitiy?"

The mage cannot keep this for a long time, the knight may not have known, but it destroys the life force of the caster.


He only got two choices, to die within the knight's blades, or die within his own spell, knowing the knight could hear him "I will not set you free until you calm down and agree to talk about this!"

The knight was in brief silence and thought of his offer. The Knight replied "If that is your wish, we may talk."

 

[Your Ally]

The mage trusts him as a friend, he knew he keeps his words, with that in mind, He set him free.

 

[SteelPhoenix]

In his very inner mind, the knight wanted to betray him, but the bonds of the two had forged a lock in his mind of betrayal. "Dont ask me about this, I have no relations to sorcerers nor witches." . Very loud wlaking was heard on the other side of the arena, a guardian whom possesses dark energy. "FIGHT OR DIE" the guardian proudly screams

He tried to ask the Guardian, "Who are you? Why are you doing this? What are your goals?"

 

[SteelPhoenix]

The guardian replied with a thundering voice "I am the guardian of The Infinite Arena. I am a magic champion summoned in this arena to make you fight! If i failed to do these, I have the freedom to kill you!"

 

[Your Ally]

He looked at the knight, he gathered his will, he does not want to fight him, but he does not want to die.

 

[SteelPhoenix]

The Knight nods and welcomely lets the mage deal the first strike. HE kneels down waiting for him.

 

[Your Ally]

The mage created smoke as a distraction for him to create a distance to cast a spell.

 

[SteelPhoenix]

the knight stands up and draws his twin blades and swiftfully blinks accross the arena to the mage. He jumps very high and prepares to lunged the mage (Deep Lunge casting)

 

[Your Ally]

The Mage casted his shield, and swiftly combined codes to create sonic magic which can create a gap on the knight's armor.

 

[SteelPhoenix]

The Knight did not hesitate to deeply lunged the boy's chest area. The sonic magic damaged the knight's ribs rendering into a stunned state.

 

[Your Ally]

Luckily, the wound did not go deep as the mage expected, He casted ice magic to the knight's damaged ribs to inflict pain and reduce regeneration speed. He knew he must finish this fast, or he will die.

 

[SteelPhoenix]

The knight laughs calmy knowing that the deep lunge would cause a burning feeling to the wound and he would severely bleed. He removes the overgrown ice spike and threw it on the ground. The knight lets out a battle cry causing his armor to show phoenix scales (Current state: Magic Resistance 100%)

 

[Your Ally]

The mage smiled, he tried to create distance again by casting wind magic to the sand.

 

[SteelPhoenix]

The knight runs towards the walls and jumps the oppposite direction to increase his speed. He casts "Twin blades of fire" into the boy simultaneously stabbing him. With his attacks, tears came out his eyes

 

[Your Ally]

Having a plan, The mage casted stasis on himself, on the second the knight's attack ended he dismissed his stasis and casted sonic magic to penetrate his armor once again, to be safe, he casted mana shield.

 

[SteelPhoenix]

Luckily for the knight, the phoenix scales reflected the magic causing no harm to him. He recasts the twin blades to break the shield of the mage and by split seconds, he threw one of his sharp feathrs to the mage.

 

[Your Ally]

He dodged the twin blades successfully, but the sharp feathers are unexpected, it inflicted damage to his legs, He tried to create a close distance fight by casting water to himself making him immune to the knight's fires and feathers, he tried to punch him, hoping it would break the shield.
