Maybe not have her be the heiress to the throne. She could be a princess or like an illegitimate child to the king. But let's make the king, the demon king and any direct heirs to thrones off limits for now.

Also I hope magic null only works on objects and not humans, otherwise it would be overpowered.

Yeah. Just not direct line. Its not like with Otome game storyline where there is a crown prince or crown princess among the capture targets.
