Make an intro post, maybe have them come to Fira's café?
Like 'all' as in the heroes - but its through my Hero's POV and we're just going to the café for a drink?

Your character doesnt have to show up at the café. I just made a suggestion. It is possible that only a few heroes show up at the café while others do other stuff.

But I can't control the others so what do you mean?

To add a little lore: Dietary habits of species:

Humans: Biologically omnivorous, but will eat anything from omnivorous diet to vegetarian and vegan.
Elves: Biologically omnivorous, but traditionally vegetarian or vegan.
Dwarves: Biologically omnivorous, but traditionally meat heavy diets, some cases of vegetarians.
Demons: Roughly equal to humans, sometimes hematophages (blood eating).
Demihumans: Depends, most are omnivorous, though some cat people are obligate carnivores.
Ogres: Mesocarnivores, they need a proportion of meat or at least blood in their diet. Ethical diets among ogres consist of donated blood or carrion (aka creature died naturally). Historically, ogres liked to eat elves, humans and demons alike.
Orcs: Also mesocarnivores, but meat cannot be substituted with blood.

Saying this because Fira has a pastry available called "Blood tart" which is made with donated elf blood and has a warning on it's label that it is intended for ogres. While Blood Tarts taste good, they are especially delicious to ogres and probably taste nasty to elves, especially with that elf blood in it.
