" Not like I'll be leaving any time too soon ", Lu Xun said with a snicker, " It would break the contract that his majesty has so diligently made ".


" Thank you... ", Zhang Pai quietly whispered as he followed after Kenji while Fang Hua smirked as she walked beside Kenji with Zhang Pai in front of her. " Same old tease as always, Kenji ", she quietly purred as her smirk widened.


Mika frowned but then replaced it with a smile as she stood closer to Bae. " I trust you ", she said as she leaned against him, shyly looking down at her feet with red cheeks.

Samual chuckled


"See you around noon Lu Xun." He said, before haning up.


"Who was that Samual?" Krystal asked.


"That was Lu Xun, Young Miss Jessica's butler. You have been invited over to visit with Young Miss Jessica. I told them we'd be there around noon." Krystal smiled


"Oh great. It will be nice to see her again. I could use a girl's night." She said, going back to her work.


Kenji chuckled


"I thought you liked to be teased." He countered. Once at the dinning hall, Kenji opened the door for Zhang Pai and Fang Hua. "Young Miss, Young Master Zhang Pai and his maid Fang Hua have come for a visit." He announced.


Bae's heart, well what's left of it, sank. He felt awful for lying to Mika. He smiled down at her.


"Now, breakfast yes?" He said with a chipper tone.

Lu Xun began making his way back to the dining hall when he caught a glimpse of a young maid, brand new, and at least her soul smelled decent. Smirking, he returned to Jessica. " I have been informed by Samual that he and Miss Krystal shall be here by noon to one, Young Miss ", he said to her with a polite bow.


" Wonderful ", Chun Hei smiled, " Thank you Kenji, you may be excused ", she said as Zhang Pai sat down next to her and the two began talking about their growing businesses. Fang Hua stood next to Kenji, keeping a close eye on her master. " Of course I like being teased, what demon doesn't? ", she asked Kenji with a brief giggle that seemed darker than usual


" Yes please! I'm starved ", Mika said with a giggle. The help watched her interaction with Bae and some had shaken their heads at him, more of the older workers than the newer ones who cooed at their relationship.

Jessica smiled


"Fabulous!" She said. One of the maids smiled, about to walk away and Jessica motioned for her to stay "No not you, Lu Xun. Thank you Lu Xun, your excused for now." She said, returning her attention to the party planning.


Kenji smirked and looked down at Fang Hua.


"Did someone partake in a little...snack today?" He asked.


Bae chuckled


"Well we cant have our Young Miss starving now can we?" He asked. He brought her to the dinning hall and pulled out her chair for her. Once situated, Bae brought out her breakfast. "Here you are Young Miss. French style omelet with bacon and orange juice."

Lu Xun smiled and walked off, deciding to spend his free time in the music room where he would be able to have some peace and quiet.


Fang Hua smirked right back at him, leaning in close to his face. " Is it that obvious? ", she asked, barely grazing his lips with hers before pulling back and stood next to Zhang Pai, her smirk widening.


" Thank you ", Mika said with a smile before beginning to eat, as always, she was very careful and mindful of how she consumed her meal.

Kenji chuckled before going and standing next to Lilly.


Bae stood next to Mika and watched her as she ate. She had this weird habit of carefully examining her food before she ate it. He wasn't sure why she did this, but he found it adorable.

Zhang Pai and Chun Hei were deep into their conversation going as far as talking about future stock deals and whatnot. Fang Hua looked a bit bored and was dismissed by a flustered Zhang Pai, who didn't want her to get bored so quickly. That made Fang Hua smile brightly and she skipped out of the dining hall to go have fun, probably meaning suck the souls out of some of the workers, but hey, it was her version of fun.


Mika stopped eating when her eyes flashed for a moment before she placed her fork down and then looked up at Bae with a smile on her face. " Can we take a walk in the garden later? ", she asked him with hopeful eyes. Just looking at him, Mika felt her cheeks turn rosy but she just kept smiling. Her fingers were still placed on the picture of her and the young man, whom she failed to remember.


TingZhe and Lilly were on their way to Chun Hei's manor with TingZhe rambling on and on about how precious and loving his girlfriend is while Lilly was listening and rolling her eyes. She did enjoy setting the pair up together, but sometimes she regretted it since he always rambled on and on about her. As she listened to him, her mind drifted off to Chin Ho, which she quickly shook out of her head. There was no way in hell she could have a crush on him, she has a soul and a job to worry about at the moment.


Hyorin was skipping to her limo with Lau and Lou following after her. They were on their way to the Torres manner, she wanted to visit Elliot-Rose and discuss the details of the party on Saturday. Lau and Lou were easily keeping pace with her from behind, with Lau admiring her with the most loving and cherishing of eyes.

Kenji sighed to himself, watching Fang Hua leave. He stayed behind Chun Hei's chair though. He had to be loyal to his Young Miss.


Bae smiled warmly down at Mika.


"Why of corse Young Miss." He said


Elliot-Rose knocked on her sister's door.


"Come in!" Jessica yelled to her sister. Elliot-Rose popped her head in with a smile.


"Hey Jess. So Hyorin is coming over. Thought I would let you know."


"Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa wait a minute. Why didn't you ask me first?" She asked. Elliot-Rose shrugged


"I didn't think you would care." She said. Jessica sighed.


"Well Krystal is going to be over later today so just.....don't bother us ok?" Elliot-Rose rolled her eyes


"You act like Im five Jess." She closed her sister's door before going back to her room where Levi waited.

" Bored as well, Kenji? ", Chun Hei teased him, " You're free until I call for you again ", she told him.


Fang Hua was happily talking to a young butler, whose soul had caught her eye. As they talked and flirted, she easily pulled him over to her by his tie, pressing her lips against his. As they kissed, Fang Hua opened her eyes, letting them glow a dark purple before beginning to suck the poor boy's soul.


Smiling, Mika returned to her meal as she continued to look through the album. Stopping at a picture of her with the people she grew up with and their butlers or maids. Curiously, she stared at the picture for a couple of moments.


As the three were on their way to the Torres household, Lau was combing his fingers through Hyorin's hair, while she was furiously blushing, but continued her conversation with a smirking Lou.

Kenji bowed to Chun Hei.


"Young Miss. Young Master Zhang Pai." He said to the two before walking out. Once out of the dinning hall he could smell the fresh scent of a sucked soul. He chuckled. "Someone has blood lust today." He called out to Fang Hua.


Bae noticed Mika's interest in the picture of all of the people she "graduated" with.


"Something the matter Young Miss?" He asked.


Krystal and Samual arrived at the Torres manor promptly at noon. Samual knocked on the front door. Krystal sighed contently.


"Some how this place always feel like home." She said with a smile. Samual nodded


"It is common to feel the comfort of home in a place where you feel loved." Krystal giggled at Samual.


"You always talk to eloquently."

Pouting, she reluctantly released the now limp and lifeless body, letting him fall to the ground before witnessing his being get sucked into the darkness. " I have to spend hours with Zhang Pai and it's hard to not just suck his soul dry ", she said with a pout, " Besides, none of the workers there have nice souls ". With that being said she walked over to Kenji and looked up at him, hating him for his tall height. " I heard from Lilly that she thinks that she has a thing for a certain demon ", she told him, hooking arms with his.


" Oh no ", Mika answered with a smile, " I'm full though, I'll meet you out in the garden, Bae ". She said as she stood up, closed the album and gracefully excited the dining room and walked out the backyard doors. The sun felt refreshing for her and she could smell the sweet scent of freshly blossomed flowers all around her. " Excuse me! ", she called out to a young gardener who was tending the flowers. The young man looked at her with surprised eyes, but still, smiled with a blush on his cheeks and waved at her. Mika made her way over to him and sat on her knees beside him. " What flowers are you growing? ", she asked as she admired the bulb and the blooms. " Irises, Young Miss ", he answered, " Care for one? ". Excitedly, Mika nodded her head, " What's your name? ", she asked, taking note that he wasn't making eye contact with her and his cheeks had burned crimson. " W...William...William Vargas ", he answered as he cut one of the fully blossomed irises and handed it to Mika, who smiled and graciously took it. " Thank you, William. May I know how long you've been working here? ", she asked, while he hesitantly answered. " A long time... ".


Lu Xun opened the door and smiled politely at Samual and Krystal. " Welcome, Young Miss Krystal. Samual ", he said with a bow before gesturing them to come in, " Young Miss Jessica is in the main living room. Shall I take you there? ", he asked.

Kenji raised and eyebrow and looked down at Fang Hua.


"Oh? And who might that be?" He asked.


Bae put away Mika's dishes before going out to the guardian. Upon seeing Mika with the gardener, he walked over and smiled at Mika.


"I see you've met the gardener." He turned his gaze to William. He was still smiling but his eyes said something else entirely. "How are you today William?" He asked.


Krystal smiled and nodded


"Yes please, Lu Xun." She said.

Fang Hua began guiding him down the hall, facing ahead as she spoke. " Lau and Lou caught wind that Lilly is developing feelings for Chin Ho. It's an odd piece of gossip, I must say. But those two know where to find the latest secrets and facts ", she explained. " They also hinted that Chin Ho may or may not have feelings towards Lilly, care to clear that up for me? ".


Gulping nervously, William quickly replied, " I...I...Good... ", he whispered before returning to his work. Mika smiled up at Bae and easily stood up as she dusted off her knees of dirt. " The irises are beautifully grown ", she said as she looked at William, " Thank you for caring for them ". William continued to look to the ground, but nodded in thanks. Then, Mika made her way to the rose bushes, leaving behind Bae and William.


Lu Xun closed the door behind the pair and began making his way to the living room, he kept thinking about how bored he was of the job already. He was just itching to go the music room and play something, anything to keep him from dying of absolute boredom in a big house with little to no fine smelling souls.

Kenji chuckled


"You would be correct." he said.


Bae watched Mika until she was out of ear shot. He bent down to William's level.


"Don't forget our agreement....William.....your lucky I don't suck your soul dry right here right now." He growled at him. He let his glare stand for a few moments before returning to Mika.


Krystal followed behind Lu Xun and Samual followed behind Krystal. The Torres manor was huge and was ornately decorated. Of corse the Palaad manor was large as well, but nothing on this scale.

Fang Hua smirked, " Very good...I swear we should set those two stubborn headed demons together. It's about time Lilly fessed up to her feelings ", she said before letting out a deep sigh. Mentally, she was hoping that the guy who she liked would actually fancy her in that way.


Frozen, William could only stare at Bae and Mika's back before returning to work with trembling hands. He sure as hell didn't want to get on Bae's bad side, but he couldn't help it if Mika made him nervous and was easy to talk to. But, everyone in the manor knew that Mika belongs to Bae and Bae only.


" Does William tend to the roses as well? ", Mika asked Bae as she admired the blooms, " They're so beautiful and quite well taken care of ".


" Miss Jessica. I present Young Miss Kyrstal and her butler, Samual ", Lu Xun said at the entrance to the living room. He heard the door bell ring and excused himself to go answer it.

Kenji nodded


"Indeed." He said. "Would you like to play match maker?" He asked with a smirk.


Bae nodded


"Yes Young Miss. William takes care of the entire garden." He said with a smile.


Jessica squealed with delight and ran over to Krystal. The two hugged before sitting down and talking about the party plans.


"Ok so I was thinking like, a Victorian theme. Like...big ball gowns and fancy foods and stuff." Krystal smiled


"That sounds fun....Oh! What if it was a masquerade party!" Jessica gasped with excitement.


"Omg Yes!"

Fang Hua purred with delight, " Wonderful idea, Kenji dear ", she cooed with a smirk on her face, " Lilly is coming over here later with TingZhe, she told me so herself. Too bad Chin Ho isn't coming, hm? ", she hummed, hoping he understood that he should find a way to bring Chin Ho over, as she let go of Kenji and stood in front of him, her arms wrapped around his torso.


Nodding her head, Mika looked back towards William. " Do I know him as someone other than a gardener? ", she asked. Hesitantly, she held onto one of Bae's arms, standing close to him with a blush on her face


Lu Xun answered the door and greeted Hyorin, Lau, and Lou. " Shall I show you to Young Miss. Elliot-Rose's room? ", he asked but Hyorin shook her head. " It's fine, Lu Xun, thanks though! ", Hyorin proclaimed as she skipped off with Lau and Lou following after her.

Kenji chuckled


"I'll see what I can do." he said. Kenji wrapped his arms around Fang Hua's waist. "Some one is in a mood." He said with a smirk.


Bae shook his head.


"No Young Miss." He said. It was a lie, but no one could ever tell.


Elliot-Rose sat in her room going through her closet for a dress for the party. She pouted.


"There is absolutely nothing in here." She complained.

Fang Hua rolled her eyes and leaned up to him, resting on her tippy toes. With a smirk still on her face, her lips hovered dangerously close over his and one of her hands had trailed up his chest until resting on the side of his face, her eyes flashed a vibrant red. " Not my fault... ", she whispered before leaning closer to him, only to pause a millimeter away from his lips. " Looks like I'm back on duty ", she said. Slightly upset, but still smirking she teased him, " Sorry, my dear sweet Kenji, ", she cooed as she caressed his cheek, " Master Zhang Pai calls for my undivided attention ". Swiftly, she took a step out of his arms and walked past him, not before twirling his tie around her finger and then tossed it over his shoulder, making her way down the hall.


TingZhe and Lilly were now in the dining room with Zhang Pai and Chun Hei. Lilly watched with keen eyes as TingZhe was happily cuddling with Chun Hei, while still conversing with an uncomfortable Zhang Pai. She inwardly smirked when Fang Hua walked into the dining hall and stood besides Zhang Pai, who was visibly relieved to see his beloved maid back by his side.


" I see ", Mika hummed before gracefully pulling Bae down the hall, her arm slipping out of his before she let one of her hands clasp around his. Smiling, she spoke, " Bae, is there anything special I should know about you? ", she asked him, " You've told me about everyone but yourself, all I know you as is a butler ".


" Why not wear that dress we bought in Paris, Elliot? ", Hyorin asked as she skipped into the room, while Lou held the door open. Lau guided Hyorin to a chair and sat her down before gently brushing a strand of hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear. The pair smiled lovingly at one another, a blush adorning their cheeks, Lou on the other hand, closed the door behind him while rolling his eyes. He stood beside Hyorin and even slapped Lau upside the head to get him to stop goggling over their Mistress.

Kenji smirked with a chuckle before going to one of the phones to call up Chin Ho.


Bae's smile faded slightly before he smiled again.


"Ask any question and I will answer it. Lets make this a game." He suggested.


Elliot shook her head.


"I wore that to Avery's party last month." She said. Upon seeing Lou she blushed lightly before returning to her closet.

Lilly was dismissed by TingZhe and as she passed, she grasped Fang Hua and pulled her along. " I will be taking Fang Hua with me for a moment ", she said to Zhang Pai, who reluctantly nodded. Once they were out of the dining room and far from where anyone could hear them, Lilly spoke up. " You and that mortal? ", she asked with an eyebrow raised, " Any interest whatsoever? ". Fang Hua shrugged her shoulders, " Quite honestly, I'm not sure. You do know how I am ", she sarcastically added on while Lilly smirked even wider. She nodded, " That I do know, so have you made any progress with Kenji? ", she questioned, " Besides made it more than obvious that your hunger is beginning to feed off on your sanity and composure ". Fang Hua childishly giggled before shaking her head, " Nope~ ", she sang, while Lilly shook her head.


" A game? ", Mika asked in a curious voice, before then smiling and guided him to a wooden bench swing under a shady tree. She sat down and hummed to herself before talking to him. " What kind of game? ", she curiously asked him while gently swinging back and forth. Her eyes were glistening with hidden, masked excitement. Her heart pounded madly in her chest as she stared into Bae's eyes, something about them entranced her, more than they usually should.


Pouting, Hyorin replied, " Why not borrow one of my dresses? ", she suggested with a smile while Lau frowned and shook his head while Lou rolled his eyes at Lau's weird obsession with constantly assuming that no one would look as good in a dress as Hyorin. Lou leaned against his brother's side with his arms crossed over his chest. " Why must girls always have to worry about what they wear? ", he whispered to Lau, who shrugged his shoulders as well as leaning against Lou.


With a sigh, Lu Xun made his way to the music room on the second floor, at least while he wasn't needed, he would be able to play the piano for a while. Music has always been something he adored, especially in the human world, which gladly advertised it everywhere and also had multiple of shops dedicated purely to selling his beloved instruments and much needed equipment to compose music and whatnot.

Kenji walked up behind Lilly and Fang Hua.


"And what about you and the Chin Ho situation?" He asked.


Bae smiled.


"You ask a question, and I'll answer it. No matter what the question is." He said. "I've heard the other workers call it.....twenty questions..."


Elliot-Rose thought for a moment.


"Witch one do you think would look nice?" She asked.

Lilly shot Kenji an annoyed look. " Tch, there is nothing between Chin Ho and I. We are merely good friends ", she informed him. Fang Hua snickered, her hands covering her lips while she laughed at Lilly's obvious rosy red cheeks.


" Very well ", Mika nodded in agreement before thinking of a question. " Do I have a loved one? ", she asked him, " I overheard a maid talking about a loved one and how he always greets her with a kiss ".


Thinking for a moment, Hyorin then replied, " The dress I wore to Chun Hei's birthday last year ", she suggested.

Kenji raised an eyebrow.


"Oh? Is that so?" He asked curiously.


Bae thought for a moment.


"I wouldn't exactly call him a loved one....." He said. He chuckled "You remember when I told you about Tai Kaneko?"


"The pale pink one with lace detailing?" Elliot-Rose asked.

" Tch ", Lilly clicked her teeth together with annoyance while crossing her arms over her chest. As if she would actually admit to liking someone, she has to focus on consuming the soul of TingZhe, even if she thinks of him as a younger brother. A soul is a soul. Fang Hua twirled a strand of her hair in between her fingers before wrapping her arms around Lilly. Teasingly, she told her, " Don't deny your feelings ". Lilly, red faced, glared at her and shoved her over to Kenji.
