If you feel like you can succeed, do it, but make sure you're ready for what comes next. It's only been about eight years since your country suffered the trauma of the Spanish-American War.
We could possibly negotiate over the fate of the Philippines and Cuba. But Puerto Rico and Guam are definitely remaining under the United States' control.

posted naval numbers, the spanish fleet was pretty terrible post American war. Will post artillery numbers as soon as I find something on them.

I've clearly stated on the first post to use this site. That link lists all the ships that are done in whatever year and so forth. Also for all those that are in the Balkans. Most of your weapons are manufactured or licensed weapons from the Austro-Hungarians or Germans.
