Willow Pillow
Three Thousand Club
"Everyone's dirty....the blood...." Her hands shake a little as she looks at her hands, the ones she covers with blood. "I can't seem to scrub it away....I try really hard but I can't scrub it all away. I don't want anymore blood on me. You just have germs and, no blood but...I can't handle...I'm sorry."
She hesitates looking at him with wide eyes as he asks. But she looks back at the locker. "My brother killed my mother and my siblings. I ran in the meat locker to hide and accidentally locked myself in. He couldn't get in and left me there to die. But I didn't want to die too, so I broke the glass on the window, climbed on boxes and landed in a dumpster." Her hands bled so much from it. NO matter how clean she got she couldn't get that blood off, the gloves helped keep her mind off of it. "But I proved I was sane. And I am. I'm going to live here, continue my mother's butcher shop and see my brother again...I didn't think it was going to be this hard.

"You don't need supers to change the world Amy. Average people can do it too." He squeezes Tara's hand quickly as she ruffles his hair and is passing by him to the kitchen. "You call me stupid, I just don't let big bad wolves scare me off.
Amy shakes her head thinking he is insane. She has a stack of files. "You and I are going to go over these, but you're still an idiot...or you think no harm will ever come to you. God gave you a gift with that brain of yours, yet you're one of the biggest morons I've ever met."
"Thank you?"
The young chief of police managed to get all the files in her cruiser, in the trunk. His office still a nightmare as the raccoon tara had shooed off managed to find his way back in and was sleeping on the desk, but she resided to sitting in the living room taking notes at what Daniels saw the clues as, and if he was right these would put many of their cases to bed. It was aggrivating as fuck to know that he was one of the good guys...and despite how much she hated the bastard...and she wouldn't admit it to him, she could trust him, and his wife. When Tara came back with tea she held it for a second looking at the two of them. "Just be careful snooping at the station. I know I have dirty cops. I'm not sure who, and how far it goes up the chain, and if they catch you sniffing where you shouldn't James...I can only do so much to protect. I stop my own threats on a daily basis, adding your future ones is going to age me considerably."
"Hitchcock is dirty." Daniels says matter of fact, pulling Tara on his lap. He grins feeling a wave of nostalgia, he used to do this for his dad in another life.
