Fantasy The God Game 2.0

@OverconfidentMagi It is unfortunate that God of Silver didn't pick back up. If you ever decide to restart it, please tag me.

I thought sub-race was more of a deviation? Such as, we, as in humans, are technically a sub-race of primates. Far more advanced, but still a sub-race none the less, because we evolved from them.

As god of change I planned to do natural evolution an plate-tectonics. Other guy is unnatural evolution.

Race and subrace as we're using it does not exist in the real world. Species/subspecies closest analogue.

EHMMMM. Idk about natural evolution in mechanics but you can RP it , what happens when you create is that they pop out in the world.

was not planning on it affecting mechanics, just making sure the world has some semblance of natural laws before the miracles start flying.

Race name: Golem

Traits:

-Long lived: The golems of Bara are incredibly long lived. Being made up of inorganic materials, they age at the relative speed of those materials. They can easily live multiple millenia, if not indefinitly.

-Strong and Sturdy: The golems are incredibly strong and sturdy, able to lift well over a ton and survive all manner of trauma. This is because of their inorganic makeup, which does not give the weaknesses of organic creatures. It does, however, make most of them slower.

-Creative: The golems were blessed with a mind that did not need to seek food or water. They do not have to worry about predators or the harshness of their conditions. They can purely focus on creating monuments and magnificent structures.

-Breath of Life: Like Bara did to the Golems, the Golems can breath life into their own creations. Example would be a rock horse, or another sentient golem.

Description: Golems are the long lived rock race created Bara. They strive to create wonderful structures and monuments, as well as other golems. They are patient and usually nonviolent, much like their creator, and do not require sustenance. They have the ability to reproduce by making the 'shell' of another golem out of whatever material is present, and breathing life into it. Other than the first golem, it requires two golems to breathe life into another. Creations that have had life breathed into them by one golem are not sentient.

Behavior: Golems are peaceful creatures, slow to anger and slow to trust. However, once trust is gained, you have made a lifelong friend, especially since they will outlive most other races. Their main focus in life is to create monuments, structure, and other golems. They only worship the one who created them, as their main focus is creation as well. Warning to those who think they will be easily taken over by other races, golems will go to war to those that threaten their cities and people, and they are notoriously hard to kill thanks to there inorganic makeup.

Miracle: Godstorms

A magical phenomenon that utilizes the leylines to fill storms with mana, creating a magically charged superstorm. Godstorms can bring devastation to the surface as they slowly crawl across the map. However, it also brings with it copious amounts of mana, and even weak mages find their spells to increase exponentially in power the more a Godstorm draws near. Another side-effect of these concentrations of mana is that it supercharges the soil, allowing the foliage to rapidly grow back once the storm has moved on.

Magic Creature: Dragon

EN_DTK_Header.jpg

Traits:

-Dragon Tempest: Dragons are not born the conventional way, rather they spawn from the raw mana of a Godstorm. Even newly spawned dragons are huge, and they only grow bigger as they age. Although Dragons eat and drink like other animals, they get most of their energy directly from the Godstorms. As a result, they cannot survive long separated from it, and thus the swarm continuously follows these storms, and rapidly die out when they dissipate.

-Flight: Despite their enormous size, dragons can still fly and maneuver as well as any bird. However, they lose this dexterity on land.

-Energy Breath Attack: The raw mana the dragons absorb from the Godstorms can be unleashed again on the dragon's prey to create a well-cooked meal. However, this expends a lot of energy, and after each attack a dragon has to return to the storm to 'recharge'.

-Strong and Sturdy: Dragon scales are among the hardest materials in the world, and even a downed dragon can easily topple stone walls.

Behavior: Koz' ultimate challenge to the sentient races of the world. Dragons are gigantic, ferocious killing machines with wings. Woe on those who have been chosen as a dragon's next meal, for it would plow through an army to get to them. And stand a very decent chance of succeeding. A dragon can not be reasoned with, it can not be bargained with and it most certainly can not be ruled.

Description:
Giant four-winged lizards. They are constantly accompanied by electricity, and the flapping of their wings sounds like thunder.

If the sky could dream, it would dream of dragons

Note: I plan to make an order that specializes in keeping Godstorms away from cities, so as not to make life too hard for the sentient races.

hey_ary_by_beastofoblivion-d509ksn.jpg

Name:
Eels (Xir'ain actually didn't give them a name yet. He's bad at things like that.)

Description: It has a serpentine appearance, with the same black skin and yellow eyes as its creator, but its jaws are larger, made to swallow things much larger than itself. It has deadly-looking teeth as well, a thousand sharp needles all pointed inwards, made to pull in and never release out. Its metabolism is unsustainably fast, meaning it is always hungry, eating all that it can, never stopping eating, and not caring what it is that it is eating. Though shaped in the form of a carnivore, it will eat anything to fill its stomach.

Behavior: Xir'ain merely created their form and didn't pay much attention to their minds when he was creating them, so the eels are actually capable of the same level of thought that he was at the time. Thankfully their desire to eat often gets in the way of higher thinking and causes their actions to more resemble that of simple beasts than rational. With more control over their hunger though, the eels can be incredibly crafty and inventive. They are usually found alone or in small groups, but with enough motivation they may gather and can even be quite social. Though they often only view creatures from the surface as food, if they believe it would benefit them they are more than able to interact and act with decorum with other races.

Traits:

Infinite Hunger - Eels are always hungry, and will eat anything that even vaguely resembles "food" to them. They will not cannibalize their own that is living though, no matter how hungry they are. But as soon as one of their own dies the other eels consume the body. Despite their constant hunger, lack of food can't actually kill the eels. Food is just a means to grow their body, it's not necessary for their survival. Death can still claim them in any other way, Xir'ain simply did not understand when creating them that lack of food made other living things die.

Limitless Growth - Eels are born small, but there is no physical limit to how large they can grow. If there is space and food, they will continue to grow. Conversely, if there is little space or food, eels can become smaller until a larger size becomes sustainable again. Extremely large eels may choose to instead hibernate through periods where food is scarce rather than let themselves shrink down.

of the Deep Dark - Eels can see and hunt in absolute darkness, and extreme water pressure doesn't seem to harm them, or even affect them at all.

Name: The Eldrazi

Description:

Characterartseason2eldrazitheeldraziareanancient_2e28ab_5823914_zpssatjrdgs.jpg

Behaviour: The Eldrazi are mysterious and reclusive if one is goign to interact with another race they will cast powerful glamours to hide their appearance. They are defensive of their lands but not to keen on expansion due to their need for mana which is hard to gather outside of lay lines. When fighting a majority will me spell casters while ground troops will be battle mages at the least, magic is so intertwined they can not imagine any pat of life without it. Their reproduction well best left not described. They tend to worship Qan'cath for the most part however this is by no means exclusive.

Traits:

Magic born: The Eldrazi are born into magic it is what makes them and saturates every part of them, this means should an Eldrazi become a spell caster they will be a powerful one attaining and controlling magic that would take many years for another race to use almost innately.

Mystic hunger: The Eldrazi do not share the need for normal sustenance instead they consume mana, they can take this in though their rubbery skin either from the air or by contacting concentration of it.

Alien anatomy: The Eldrazi have a type of mystic sight instead of eyes and a type of telepathy instead of speech. Their minds also function is strange ways they remember all they see and these memories are passed from parent to spawn. Side not they are hermaphrodites meaning they can either mix with any other or make a clone of themselves.

Long life: An Eldrazi can life up to 1000 years for long as they do not get sick, get hurt, murdered, ect if they are healthy they have a long life and with magic they can stretch their lives.

Name: Elves (The first born)

Description:
Elves are very similar to humans in appearance with few minor differences, they have pointy ears and don't tend to grow facial hair. They have a timeless appears and have been said to appear to be more fair, or have enchanting features.

Behaviour: Elves like to improve their minds and skills always looking to improve on what they have already made. They are peaceful but make strong warriors that can be a force to reckon with. They rarely fight among each other and when they do they fear for the consequence of killing their kin. They spend a lot of time in woods exploring the world around them and learning what their is to learn about the universe and the gods. Elves might seem knowledgeable but this is do to the fact of their long lives and their memory of their lives. They continue to learn their whole lives and revere all gods and goddesses knowing that their is more then just their creator.

Traits: The gifts of the first born

Immortal life: Elves have a unique gift in the fact that they have unending lives and there souls are bon to the earth. They are given durable bodies that have a natural resistance to disease and exhaustion. When they are killed they do not remain dead for very long before they are reincarnated into their species. Unlike other races she will make after a certain age they remember their past life while they are alive. One of the only thing that kills them is a fetal wound.

Unyielding love: Iva gave the Elves her unending love, they easily love other species having no hatred for them unless they for some reason have been truly wronged. They treat other species as their own and are willing to teach them whatever they know. Elves will provided for the children of Iva like parents or guardians that have an unending duty to their children.

Natural Longing: This gift gives the Elves a close relationship with nature and an understand of its workings. They are natural foragers knowing what is safe and not safe to consume. They also have a power over plants being able to improve their harvest and the rate at which plants grow.

The Curse of the First born: Elves fell the weight of the world, they fell the stress of others. They long to die and go to the afterlife with Iva, but they are bond to the earth until it should be unmade. As a result of this mysterious gift the Elves grow wary of the world and their spirits grow weak but it gives them some knowledge and understanding of their creators mind. They know some of the will of Iva and her plans.

You guys created races but no land masses? And don't think the continent Bara whipped up is going to suffice for your species, with two thirds being a desert more barren than anything on Earth, and a densely made rainforest nearly as hostile as the desert.

Elves do love trees :P , I will add another island (and most likely include in the cost for the land shaping I have done so far)

@Murtox I don't know about the others but I would love a tab for all of the races and servants like we had last time

What's this "land" you speak of? Infinite ocean just means infinitely large sea serpents surfacing to eat your creations.

well noted that might just mean the island for the elves have very high and infinitely thick mountains (I don't think I can make it that thick).

So I at least want to make two more post for everything I do, what is everyone else thinking they can do? I just want to know if I need to cut it down.

Hope they like rocks. They might have to get used to extreme amounts of blockage, or being ripped up from the inside of they decide to eat a Golem.

Name: Mandos Iva

Description: Mandos takes the form of an old man that has a light about him. He wears white robes and has white hair, as wells as an authoritative presence. He stands taller then most of the races that are created, seeming to be a giant but still small enough to appear to be a human like man.

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_03/upload_2016-3-8_21-18-26.png.3da1ab251384243252f2e5aa96de5595.png" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="110896" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_03/upload_2016-3-8_21-18-26.png.3da1ab251384243252f2e5aa96de5595.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Personality: Mandos is the old man of souls, he collects the souls of races that are bond to the earth and he renews them so that they can live their next life refreshed and with out the stress of the world already weighing heavily on them. He is very serious about his job and is angered when people try to avoid their fate. He speaks on the behalf of his goddesses when he gives his council being connected to her in many ways they nearly share a being but he has his own will.

Traits:

Soul healing:
When he collects the souls of the wary immortals or the immortals that have died he refreshes their souls so that they are prepared to live again when that time has come.

Soul Judgement: When a soul dies he judges the quality of their soul to decided when they can be returned to the realm of the living, if they have committed a crime so terrible that they cannot be allowed to live again then he will keep their soul in his halls for all entirety so that they fulfill their design by not leaving the earth but they are still punished.

Reincarnation: Once he sees that a soul is ready to return to the realm of the living he will give them a new body and give them a new life until they remember their last one. He can also return the souls of mortals to the living but that tends to only be on important occasions or when he is asked to do so by Iva. However, some times he can be generous and make a bet with some one to restore a mortal.
