Domains: the Dark Abyss (the Void, Deep Dark, Unnatural Evolution)

the Void - Beneath Xir'ain's form is the bottomless void that when opened sucks in anything and everything indiscriminately.


Deep Dark - Xir'ain can create water from matter or even from nothing, and his touch pollutes the water turning it back as ink and blocking all light but that of his own eyes. Any water that light cannot reach is his domain.


Unnatural Evolution - Xir'ain delights in creating life within his blackened waters, and any other creatures he comes across he changes and adapts to be able to live and survive within his realm.

In the novel, the living music tried to ensure a young musician died tragically, as it would make his music immortal.


In response Death destroyed his scythe, and used one of the shards as a guitar pick. No sound came, instead the music died, all of it. All the music you never realize you hear until they are gone. The dance of the atoms, the beat of the heart. The whole universe would have grinded to a halt.


It was a dare to save the musician, as only he could start the universe up again.
