Lily, a young and female wolf was being herded into a small cage by some well built men. She would be meeting her new owner today that had agreed to adopt her. She was the last of the wolf pack that had been abused, everyone was safe now. They flew in a helicopter and landed just outside her new owner's house.

"Bring her in!" Alex called out to the helicopter. He stood in the snow outside, hugging his coat close. He walked up to the flying machine and he smiled, "okay, let's get her off."

Lily was unlocked from the cage once they landed, a muzzle attatched to her so that she wouldn't try to bite, they did this for most wolves anyways. She was carried to her new owner over the shoulders of one of the men.

 

[BeyondOblivion]

"Put her down please." He smiled to the wolf, gently taking Lily and pulling the muzzle off, "it's okay girl, I promise you'll be safe hers. Thank you!" He paid the men and carried Lily inside.

Lily watches the young man she was passed over to and then got down from his arms once they were inside. She was actually quite scared, her tail wagging anxiously as she looks around, this was all new to her.

 

[BeyondOblivion]

Sitting down on the couch, he smiled to her. It was a cozy neoclassical style house, with one story. He out stretched his hand, "come here Lily, I promise I won't hurt you."

Lily hesitates but wanders over to him, she looks at his hand and then nuzzles it, giving it a short lick. She sniffs him, he smelt pretty nice. She looks up at him with gentle eyes.

He gently began to pet down her neck, "I knew you were nice." He'd heard reports about Lily, and she seemed very nice. He smiled to her and began to gently rub her neck, smiling and relaxing for her.

Lily pants softly, and happily as he does this. She lets out a few whines of happiness. She sat upright and lifted her neck so he could stroke her more, her tail was wagging happily. She could already feel herself warming up to him.

He smiled and he patted the couch, "you can come up if you want." He kept scratching her neck gingerly, smiling widely.

She goes up on the couch beside him and the places her head on his lap, looking up at him as she curls up beside him, she sniffs him once again, her tail was still wagging gently.

 

[BeyondOblivion]

"You're a good wolf, Lily." He leaned forward and scratched by the base of her tail, while alternating with his other hand from her chin and ears. He felt warm inside as he realized he was bonding with a wolf.

She let him do this and then licks his hand once again. Soon enough, she curiously wanders about the house. It was small but cosy. She looks at some of his pictures, ornaments and other fascinating things around his house. She finally sets down by a fireplace, feeling her body warm up as she watches the crackling flames.

 

[BeyondOblivion]

"You like the fireplace?" He sat sown beside her, pulling her into a gentle embrace. He stroked her ears tenderly and then began to hum the beginnings of a small tune. The tune was very soft and gentle, and it served more of a lullaby.

She looks up at him, giving a light nod as if understanding what he was asking her. She crawls into his lap and then curls up, nuzzling against his chest. His lullaby made her feel sleepy, and her eyes began to close as she stayed close to him. She soon fell asleep, not waking up until the following morning.

 

[BeyondOblivion]

Feeling the wolf actually curl up and acknowledge what he was saying, he felt like they had a connection. What that was, he didn't know. He quickly picked her up and walked over to his bed, laying down. He sat her at the edge of the bed, very close to the heater. He yawned and closed his eyes, falling asleep.

She opens her eyes once it was morning and slowly wandered down. She goes downstairs and then switches to her human form, something she hadn't done in so long. She opens the front door and then wanders curiously outside, shutting the door behind her. Surely he wouldn't mind her taking a short walk.

 

[BeyondOblivion]

Staying asleep for another hour, he lifted his head up to see that Lily had disappeared. Alex blinked, but he decided that his wolf would come back. She seemed trustworthy. Somehow He just knew she'd come back. He went downstairs and prepared them both breakfast.

She switched to her wolf form and then wanders over to the house again. She paws at the door gently, whining softly so that he could hear that she had returned and then open the door for her.

 

[BeyondOblivion]

He heard her whiny and dashed over, opening the door and allowing her back inside, "hey! I went ahead and made you some food!" He smiled widely.

She looks up at him gratefully and then wanders inside to find her food. Her risks wags happily as she goes over to begin eating, seeming quite happy.

 

[BeyondOblivion]

Feeling happy that he'd actually given he such a good meal, he yawned and sat down, beginning to eat. He finished up his own meal and then leaned over, stroking her ears gingerly.

She finishes her food and then gazes up at him, nuzzling him gently and brushing up against his body as he begins to stroke her ears. She sat down and then pants, her tail wagging.

 

[BeyondOblivion]

"You like your ears rubbed, don't you?" He smiled and leaned in, using both hands to stroke both her chin and her ears. He giggled and kept stoking her fast, feeling fond of her now.
