Luna apparated, appearing in front of her house. Aaron appeared by her side, a second later. He turned to Luna confidently "Shall we?". Once again, he held out his arm for Luna to take. She took it, and he led her towards the labyrinth. He made his way through the hedges, knowing it all too well for a visitor. "How do you know the way through?" Luna asked, puzzled by his expert navigation. Aaron smiled at Luna and said charmingly "Your memory is guiding me." This made Luna feel very uncomfortable. He sees through my expert shields like they are transparent. Throughout my entire life, the one thing I have always loved is that my thoughts where always private, and my own. He's just trying to make himself seem more powerful, thus I will find no point in resisting? Aaron stopped, looking at Luna, intrigued. "What's wrong?" Luna had showed no facial cues to her thoughts, but he knew. "Do I make you feel uncomfortable?" he brushed aside a lock of Luna's hair that was out of place.
"Never you mind." Luna said quickly, walking ahead briskly. The rest of their walk was silent. They finally reached the center, and Aaron passed Luna, standing exactly in the middle of the clearing. He closed his eyes, concentrating.
The exits sealed themselves, replaced with mirrors. The floor became a reflective glass, and the ceiling as well. It was a vast hall of mirrors. Aaron disappeared, and in his place a candle grew tall, casting confusing shadows around the now dim maze. Aaron's voice came echoing through the passages. "Find me. " Luna smiled as she made to draw her wand but was startled to find that it was missing. "Without magic!" Aaron laughed. Luna took a deep breath. No wand, but so much more. This room is suited to reflect the occupant's needs. Besides a wand, and food, this place has everything.
Luna smiled, knowing he was testing her ability to act without a wand. Most people would panic, but not Luna. In this room, I have the advantage. Luna looked at the ground, then the ceiling. She had read many novels, where the villain would trap heroes in confusing places. They would always be in the last place one would expect. Luna concentrated, and the ceiling began to crack. First small lines, which split and separated into many. Bits of glass came showering down, and Luna thought of a large umbrella the size of an elephant. It shielded her from the glass, but Aaron's discouraging voice echoed louder. "Nice try. Guess again."
Luna thought, and the ceiling mended itself. She looked intently at the ground. With concentration, it broke, just like the ceiling, except for a small area surrounding her. "I can assure you, this is no book, Luna. You're taking far too long for a simple task. " he jeered. Luna's face became red, and she wished she had a bit of water with her. She began going through her bag and found her mirror. "Show me Aaron." she whispered. Aaron's contented face stared straight at her from the inside of the mirror. "I didn't say I was inside the maze." he said slyly. Luna held it away from her, and Aaron materialized out from it. He bowed to Luna, as the room restored itself to its normal state.
