By placing it to her eye and gazing through the opening, Mel can point to her prior to this selected human and see what they are feeling, while their spirit swirls around in various mesmerizing colors, signifying the type of emotion. The item's power comes in handy when trying to discover what methods of scaring work on a certain contestant, or when simply wanting to uncover the truth of what they are experiencing at the moment. In all honesty, the Ouija board is a simple boost of one of the girl's preexisting characteristic, since she is someone exceptionally skilled at reading others. The downsides to this ability is that it takes an awfully long time to prepare for the actual usage, seeing as a ritual is needed. Black candles, incense and dark chants are all requirements that eat up precious time and, in the end, the planchette works solely on a single victim. To top it off, its power is granted directly by a demon by the name of Azazel (aka Zaza), who possesses the spirit board. Unfortunately, this entity is quite the menace, being hostile and short-tempered. If Mel comes to abuse its services for over 20 minutes, she puts herself at risk of being possessed and abused by the very spawn of Satan.

She does have many androgynous traits, like short hair, height and overall physique, though her outlook screams feminine. The girl is someone that very much cares how she appears, keeping exceptionally good hygiene and utilizing make-up to its full potential. Her natural attributes are still charming even when left untouched, like big dark puppy eyes, full lips, fair hands and soft skin.
  
  
  Her clothing style only furthers her femm vibe, as she has a huge liking towards pastel-colored and floral articles, which she layers, specifically skirts of any length, blouses, print leggings, fluffy dresses, long coats, tights, and high-heels (X). To compliment them, she carries a ton of different accessories on her person - from rings, bracelets, necklaces and hairpins to scarves, cute hats and clutches.   Mel is a humanitarian, someone that believes in humanity and its ability to be balanced. She is a very optimistic person in essence, despite all the hardships that life has placed in her path. As a matter of fact, she thinks that it is exactly these tough to overcome situations what made her love breathing, feeling and being so much, firmly believing that good days will always come, and finding the bright side to anything or anyone. She loves people and people love her! Mel is a talkative social butterfly, yet not the obnoxious type of chatterer but instead the one that will always find a way to lift up another's mood or simply listen to her fellows' worries, comforting them. The girl is understanding and accepting, able to comprehend others' emotions and help overcome them. Human nature is something well-known to her, which gives her the ability to read most like open books, without as much as breaking a sweat.
  
  
  This comes in handy when having to take on the position of a leader, which Mel was pretty much made for. With a strong sense of justice, moral values and a clear-mind, she makes for someone capable of being in control, which is something she adores. As a matter of fact, Melpomene is power-hungry, loving to boss her underlings around, though she does this in secret. The girl is an actress, who puts on the mask of someone with merely friendly and innocent intentions, while underneath she is surprisingly cold-hearted. Mel finds it easy to let go of anyone - friends, family, even her current fiance - if that is needed. She is rational to an extreme extend, not tolerating anyone that holds her back in any way, even if they used to be her ally prior to this. After all, she takes the maxim "Don't sacrifice your own happiness for that of others" quite literally, backstabbing those that are not of use to her any longer. Mel might make herself look like a saint through the art of trickery, but on the inside the woman is a selfish liar, and she loves it...

  ♥ Leadership - Mel is a natural born leader, possessing all the required qualities to be able to deal with most tense situations through uniting a group. Even if there is someone defying her, she is also very much capable of weeding out the bad seeds and distancing them from her party. The girl is someone motivating and reliable, having a calming "holly" atmosphere to herself that tricks outsiders into trusting her, making her appear like a messiah of some sort
  
  
  ♥ Polyglot - she has a knack for languages, the studying of which has been a hobby of hers ever since the early age of 5. Thus far, she is fluent in Hungarian (her mother tongue), English and Japanese, pretty much a master in Spanish, French and Chinese, as well as able to read dead speeches such as Latin and Ancient Greek. Thanks to her abundant knowledge in this area, Mel is additionally capable of deciphering texts
  
  
  ♥ An Eye for Detail - the girl sees beauty in the smallest of things, meaning that she is more likely to pay attention to them. Owing to this affinity of hers, Mel is someone able to spot most concealed clues or finding the meaning behind certain concepts through spotting the masterfully woven in symbolism.   ☹ Misgendering - having the wrong pronouns used to refer to her really makes Mel lose all reason, flipping her shit and breaking the whole innocent facade. It throws her off the hinges and, even though she always tries to keep her cool, it's one of the few things that anger her, even if done not on purpose. Misgendering is pretty much an easy way to verbally abuse Melpomene, though the consequence is the girl lashing out at whoever is responsible.
  
  
  ☹ Lack of Strength - Mel is someone exceptionally physically weak, seeing as she never held physical training as something important and as a result never even remotely attempted to toughen up her physique. Despite the fact she still believes it doesn't matter, this situation makes her vulnerable and dependent on those more capable in this area than her.
  
  
  ☹ Cuteness - this is a rather odd weakness, but basically Mel is more likely to be genuinely nice towards people she finds adorable or attractive. Call her shallow or whatnot, which would be absolutely correct, but the girl has a soft spot for certain individuals, meaning that they have a higher chance of gaining her rarely earned trust.

  ✂ Gymnophobia - the girl has always hated the human body and especially her own. Nudity makes her experience stress attacks and brings forth suffocating anxiety. This is especially true in the case of her own physique, furthered by the fact that she is not yet fully "passing" as female. Body dysmorphia is something that has plagued her throughout her conscious existence, thus Mel always takes to wearing a large number of layers and expects the same of others. If her ideals are not met, she will, at best, feel uncomfortable or, in the worst case scenario, panic uncontrollably, hurting herself and bystanders in the process.
  
  
  ✂ Her Act being Seen Through - Mel is an actor, putting on an innocent show in front of others and pretending to be a well-mannered, well-thinking individual that is completely selfless. However, this is not remotely close to the actually selfish person she is in reality, and the girl fears facing this truth. She is terrifying by the thought that someone could find out her real intentions.   Born Ambrus Kíraly, Mel came into this world as the son of a very average Hungarian religious family of Japanese descent. This all seemed like some awful mistake, since the girl was anything but average. After all, ever since she can remember she has had an affinity for all things feminine - cute dolls, pretty dresses and make-up are some of the items she ogled over, but was never allowed close to. Her parents were against their child's identity, their child's true self, thus they distanced her from any "bad" influences. They went to such extremes as to forbid her from leaving the house outside of school hours, fearing the world and its "wretched, unnatural teachings". Those people, who she by that time refused to dubb "mum and dad", destroyed her childhood, taking away even her favorite teddy bear, Kasasszony Szivi (Miss Cutie), and cutting it up mercilessly before their "son's" very eyes as a play on power, a warning. The psychological horrors Mel had to endure at home, combined with constant bullying at school due to her profuse femininity and foreign origins, climaxed once her parents called in a preacher to "cleanse her of her queer sickness".
  
  
  The girl ran away from home at the age of 10. She was at last free, yet that was the sole positive aspect of her brash decision, since it all went downhill from there. A child out on the streets becomes easy prey. She got involved in the world of prostitution after being picked up by a pig, who presented himself as a friendly man and promised the freezing, malnourished child before him shelter. Mel didn't even suspect what the cost of this new home would be, but at the end she got used to her clients - sick perverts, old enough to be her grandpas. Well, it was a living... True, most of the money did go towards her "owner's" needs, thus she was still existing from hand to mouth, though what little extra cash she scraped up was always channeled into her only pastime - going to the theater. The young teen found this place to be her only safe haven and became mesmerized by the beautiful, elegant actresses that seemed to as if glow on the stage. As a matter of fact, she fell in love with acting so much that she fantasized day and night about being the one under the spotlight.
  
  
  Hence, at the age of 16, she ran away once again to pursue her dream, going so far as to move to a whole other country, leaving it all behind - her parents, once and for all, as well as her benefactor, not that she would miss either of them. They were simply thorns in her side and pulling them out in one swift motion felt exhilarating. The girl was reborn, having toughened up through all these hardships and grown into someone wise beyond her age. After, all slowly but surly fell into place. She became a part of a local drama troupe, and to fund her hobby found herself a job as a waitress in a small coffee shop, then a cute cozy flat and a wonderful, supportive boyfriend. With his help, Mel began the process of transgendering and unifying her body and soul as soon as she turned 18. However, something went wrong with her hormone intake that stopped her from reaching her ultimate goal. Succumbing to depression and locking herself far away from the world, Mel was a mess and a shell of her former cheery self for a couple of months. That is until her boyfriend (by that time fiance), who had been by her side all this time, introduced her to a certain legend about a game...

Trust me when I say I WANT it to run (which is why I got disheartened and abandoned the RP for a while there), but there is simply no interest, the CSs were not completed before the deadline and... yeah... I am sorry to say that the idea will probably not bear fruit. It could possibly get revived in the future, though!
