Jeffery smiles and looks for something to put Lyla in. “Wanna go to breakfast wjth me and Lyla.” He asks softly and bites his lip. “It’s fine if you don’t, I just thought I’d offer.”

Mark nods a little and heads back to their car and gets in, driving to the station. “Her parents are coming in later to identify the body.” He murmurs

Max smiled softly biting her lip gently "Sure where at?" She asked going to her living room and grabbimg her purse.

Jeffery smiles. “There’s this diner on wind street Lyla loves. Meet you there in thirty?”

Mark nods and grabs the evidence bags. He grabs what they needed and then let the corner take the body away. He heads back to the station with Norman.

Max smiled happily and nodded a bit "Yeah sounds nice." She said softly pulling her shoes on hanging up and making her way to the diner.

Norman sighed heavily looking over the evidence founs trying to find a pattern hoping thid wasnt a serial killer

Jeffery gets him and Lyla ready and then heads to the diner. He smiles when he sees her and kisses her cheek. “Hey.”

Chleo walks into the station with Dehlila on her hip and lunch for him in her hand. “Hey baby.”

Max gave a soft smile to him looking at Lyla as she waved at her from her dad's arms "Hello Lyla." She said softly kissing Jeff's cheek "Hello to you as well."

Norman saw the two of them and smiled happily "Hey there my two beautiful girls." He said signing it as well to Dehlila "What are you doing here?"

Jeffery smirks and kisses her head. He gets a seat and places Lyla on the inside beside him. He kisses her head softly.

Chleo smiles and waves the bag. “I brought you your favorite.@ she murmurs soflty. She kisses his cheek and sits on his desk wjth Dehlila on he lap.

Max smiled and sat opposite of them glancing at Lyla here and there but her main focus was Jeff "How did you sleep?" She asked taking his hand in hers across the table.

Norman smiled wider and chuckled a bit "You?" He teased before taking the meal and smiling wider "Oooh babe you shouldnt have."

Jeffery smiles and holds onto Max’s hand across the table. “Okay. I feel asleep on the couch so not amazing.” She chuckles softly. “What about you?”

Chleo giggles and kisses his cheek softly. She shakes her head and holds Dehlila, bouncing her slightly. “I thought you could use two friendly faces.” She murmurs skftly.

Max gave a small laugh nodding some "I slept okay, not amazing but I'll be okay." She murmured kissing his hand gently

Norman smiled happily and took Dehlila into his arms "Well I'm glad to see the two of you, definitely brightened my day."

Jeffery nods a little and rubs her hand. “Have to work today?” He asks softly and wraps an arm around Lyla when she cuddles into him.

Max shook her head some "No I haven't got any shoots today." She said glancing over at Lyla as she cuddled into her dad "You got work today?"

Norman smiled happily and kissed the side of Dehlila's head as she sat contently chewing on a teething ring "How are you feeling?"

Max gave a small nod looking at Lyla as she lifted up her coloring page 'Wook Max! I color the fwoggie!' She gave a nod and smiled softly "Wow Lyla thats an awesome Frog." She said softly "Oo and its purple, you know thats my favorite color?" She said smiling again as Lyla looked shocked and smiled widely

Norman nodded softly and kissed her cheek "Hey could you do me a favor and get me some stuff from the store? I put the list on the fridge." He murmured

Jeffery smiles, glad to see they were getting along. He kisses Lylas head and leans back. He orders for him and Lyla when the waitress comes.

Max ate with them happily chatting with Jeffrey for the most part and sometimes Lyla. 'Daddy go to pawk?' She heard Lyla ask giving a soft smile when she saw how she looked at her dad, she could tell this little girl adored him.

Norman gave a small nod and kissed her gently "Alright babe I'll see you tonight." He murmured kissing the top of Dehlila's head before handing her off.

Jeffery smiles and kisses Lylas cheek. “Sure baby.” He murmurs and rubs her back softly. He finishes eating and leans back.

Chleo takes her and kisses her head softly. She heads out and back to the house to grab the list before going to the store.

Jeffery shakes his head and pulls his wallet out. “I got it.” He murmurs and goes up to the register to pay for all their food. He comes back and picks up Lyla. “Now we can go crazy.”

Norman got himself home about 3 hours later exhausted but he was doing alright. He plopped down on the couch and gave a small sigh smiling as Dehlila played on her play mat on the floor.
