Jeffery went and sat down with his two girls and helps Lyla with her food. He glances over at Max and blows her a kiss playfully.

Chleo sees Norman sitting and eating with Dehlila and smiles. She heads over with the baby food and kneels down in front of them, feeding Dehlila so she wouldn’t keep grabbing at Norman’s food. “Who’s my good girl?” She says and signs at the same time, a habit she now had to help the little girl learn. Chleo has gotten pretty fluent at sign language.

Max gave a soft smile and blew him a kiss back before she started to eat her food quietly as everyone chatted about anything and everything

Norman smiled wide as Dehlila smiled lifted her hand opening and closing it as if she were trying to sign "Great job baby girl." He murmured and signed it to her having gotten pretty good at it as well

Jeffery smirks and eats his food as well. When Lyla was done he let her go play and moves over to Max. He lifts her up and sits in her seat, placing her in his lap.

Chleo giggles and kisses her cheek. “I love you.” She murmurs and signs to her. She glances up at Norman and kisses his knuckles.

Max smiled softly at him and played with his fingers lightly still keeping quiet as she tried her best to wrap her mind around all of this. She was still in a bit of shock and of course mad but she wasn't going to say anything more on it right now.

Norman smiled happily and finished up his food "Babe go on and eat, I can finish feeding her." he murmured kissing his wife's cheek gently

Jeffery watches her and sighs softly. He knew she wasn’t exactly happy about any of this. He could see it clearly on her face right now. He sighs and leans away a little and drops his arms to rest on her thighs.

Chleo nods a little and hands him he jar and spoon. She kisses Dehlilas head before going to make a plate. She slides into the chair by Norman and eats.

Max leaned into him a bit and stayed in a comfortable silence as they watched his daughter run around and play outside "How old is she?" she asked finally breaking the silence between the two of them. She looked to be around 4 at the oldest but she didn't want to make assumptions.

Norman fed Dehlila frowning as she pushed him away starting to get fussy as she reached for Chleo "You gotta let momma eat baby girl." he murmured signing to her that it was okay and she would be done soon.

Jeffery looks at her and then over at Lyla. “Four.” He murmurs as watches the little girl run around. “She’ll be five in a few months.” He murmurs softly.

Chleo looks over at their daughter and takes her small hand in his. “It’s okay baby.” She murmurs and kisses her head. She holds her hand as she eats to help her clam down.

Max gave a small nod and smiled lightly "She is a beautiful little girl, doesn't look like you til she smiles though." she murmured turning to look at him kissing his cheek gently.

Norman smiled some as Dehlila started to calm down a bit but still whimpered and sniffled looking at her mom with big puppy dog eyes .

Jeffery nods a little. “She’s the spitting image of her mom.” He mutters and shakes his head. “Reminds me of her more everyday.” He chuckles.

Chleo looks over at her and frowns. “You’re gonna be the death of me little one.” She scoops the little girl up and kisses all over her face. She places her in her lap and holds her close.

Max gave a small nod and sighed softly "She was beautiful too." she whispered remembering the few pictures she saw of her in his house when she had been over there.

Dehlila gurgled and smiled widely cuddling closely into her mom before yawning big and starting to fall asleep against her.

Jeffery smiles a little. “Thanks.” He murmurs softly and glances at the time. “I should get her home. She’s gonna crash soon.” He chuckles and carefully gets up with Max. “I umm...I’ll see you soon?” He asks almost nervous.

Chleo smiles down at the little girl and picks her up. She holds her close and kisses her head softly before taking her up to her room and laying her down.

Max nodded softly and stood up "Oh okay babe." she murmured kissing him gently "Yeah of course, just call me okay?" she murmured.

Norman smiled happily and kissed her cheek before he said goodbye to everyone and started to clean up the house a bit

Jeffery nods a little. “Yeah I will.” He murmurs and scoops up Lyla. “Say goodbye.” He murmurs and smiles when she waves happily at Max. He glances at Max, hesitating a little before heading out to his car. He gets Lyla in and heads home.

Chleo comes back down to the living room and wraps her arms around his waist. “Bedroom in ten minutes.” She murmurs and kisses his cheek before running up the stairs, giggling.

Max waved goodbye to the two of them before she went off to her place giving a heavy sigh. She bit her lip and pulled a giant box from under her bed looking through the old photos of herself and her ex letting a few tears fall. She sighed softly thinking it was about time that she told Jeffrey about him.

Norman groaned softly and nodded finishing up cleaning before he ran upstairs looking for Chleo groaning louder as he saw her in his favorite set of lingerie "Fuck babe, you're trying to kill me."

Jeffery gets home and gets Lyla down for bed. He sighs softly and goes to the living room. He turns on the tv and runs a hand through his hair.

Chleo giggles and smirks slightly. She walks over to him and makes him sit on the bed. “You love it though.” She murmurs and sits on his lap. She kisses him softly and rubs his chest, starting to unbutton his shirt. “Happy birthday baby.”

Max took a deep breath and quickly put the photos away before she moved to lay down finally falling into a dreamless sleep. She knew this part of her life would be a long one, but she only hoped that everything would work out.

Norman groaned softly and smiled at her "Mmm happy birthday indeed." he murmured quickly getting down to business with her. He lay there with her afterwards and panted softly starting to drift off exhausted from running around all day.

Jeffery lays down on the couch and falls asleep there, thinking of Max and hoping he wasn’t gonna lose her. He loved her so much.

Chleo pants softly and lays her head on his chest. She cuddles into him and smiles as she watches him drift to sleep. She kisses husband chest and soon falls asleep herself.

Max woke up in the morning and yawned frowning as she saw the time. Thankfully she had no appointments today or else she wouldve been severly late. It was nearly 11 and she knew she had slept in due to her being so upset the night before.

Norman woke up in the morning groaning loud as his phone blared loudly. He took a deep breath and picked up listening to the other end frowning when he heard there was a homicide identical to another he was working that had come up

Jeffery woke up with a start when Lyla started jumping on him. He glances around and noticed he was on the couch. Good thing it was one of his days off. He smiles down at the little girl and kisses her forehead. “Come here.” He murmurs and pulls her down, cuddling her close.

Chleo shifts a little and tightens her grip on him. She opens her eyes and sees the look on his face. She frowns and lets go, knowing it was a case and knowing it was bad. She sighs softly and rubs his shoulder. “Be careful.” She murmurd softly and watches him. Every time he got another case, especially when he looked like that, she got worried. A case had broken him before and she didn’t want to go through that again, she couldn’t.

Lyla giggled and cuddled inti him "Daddy why you on couch?" She asked tilting to her head to the side looking at him curiously "Daddy okay?" She asked pushing her hair out of her face.

Norman sighed heavily and kissed her forehead gently "I'll see you soon babe okay? I love you." He whispered before he got ready and left quickly to the crime scene.

Jeffery smiles at her. “I’m okay baby.” He murmurs and kisses her cheek softly. “You hungry?” He asks softly.

Chleo nods and sits up. “I love you too.” She watches him leave and sighs softly. She gets up and gets ready for the day, going to get Dehlila when she starts fussing.

Lyla nodded smiling happily "Mhmm, you special fwiend come? She pwetty like mommy." she said giggling softly bushing her hair back again getting annoyed by how it was getting in her face due to it not being brushed

Norman sighed heavily as he got to the crime scene looking at his partner "What do we have?" he asked taking a deep breath when he saw the woman on the floor laying on her front a puddle of blood around her head

Jeffery chuckles softly and smiles. “I can invite her. Wanna go to that dinner you like?” He asks and holds her close. He smileswhen she nods and calls Max. He bites his lips softly.

His partner, Mark, looks at him and sighs. “Girl early twenty’s. Carrie Maine. She’s a student at the loca college. Looks like she was hit over the head and assisted like the other one.

Lyla giggled softly and nodded happily "Yay!!" She squealed before she got up "Daddy help!" She grumbled pushing her hair back again having troubles

Norman sighed heavily and shook his head "Good lord, this is...exactly like that other girl." He muttered taking a deep breath

Jeffery laughs and cradles the phone between his ear and shoulder and heads upstairs with her. He grabs the brush and brushes her hair back into a ponytail.

Mark sighs and nods. “You okay?” He asks softly and pays his back. “We gotta go inform the family.”
