Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

A faint blush rose to Hakuru's cheeks, Everest was as smooth as ever. "I think that would be considered cannibalism, but I'll go see if there's anything else I could get you." With that, she walked off and returned shortly after with a tray of food. She placed the coffee and omelet down on the table in front of him. "There, something legal you can eat"
Everest smiled as she set the food down Infront of him and smirked slightly before grabbing her wrist and pulling her against him. "Awww are you sure I can't eat you? You're so soft and small!" Saying this he leaned in slightly and latched his mouth onto her ear, nomming it slightly.

-------Diana Young-------

Diana stirred slightly as her eyes slowly began to open, a small yawn escaping her mouth as she turned to lay on her back, noticing she was now lying on the couch. Sitting up straight as a rod she looked around the room to find Elliot sitting at the table reading a book, in which he had his nose stuck into. Letting out a loud sigh she swung her legs over the edge of the couch as her feet touched the floor.

"Well good afternoon, I hope you were having fun," She said as she once again let out another yawn, casting a look over to the clock, the time was a little past 1:23, "So I'm guessing I didn't have any nightmares?" She asked quietly as she let out another yawn before she slowly pushed herself off the couch with her one arm, walking over to Elliot before her memory from before she fell asleep flashed before her eyes, stopping a bit before Elliot as a deep tint of pink coated her cheeks.

Turning her head down slightly, "I-I meant what I said before as well..." She said with a hint of embarrassment, "Y-Your fun and stuff..." She said once again in an embarrassed tone as she raised her arm to hold her side, holding onto the wounded area that was giving a dull burn at the moment. Jesus why are emotions so bloody stupid!? The thought ran in her mind for a minute before she raised her head looking at Elliot, before quickly turning her head to the side.
After Elliot had malfunctioned for a while following Diana's sudden words, he had managed to once again sneak off the couch, placing a pillow under the girls head to replace where his legs had once been. He didn't want to be creepily sitting in the one place after she woke up. Besides he knew he would calm up as soon as she'd look at him after that. Every time he remembered about it was enough to make his cheeks flush and make him hid in his own sweater again. He had had crushes on people before, but none of them had actually like him back, or notice him for that matter. So he was at a loss of how to process. Especially since she dozed off and left him hanging more or less.

He had decided to distract himself with his books and comics, sitting at his desk to read them, giving Diana the couch. He was successfully doing so too for at least an hour, his face was pretty much shoved into the thing before hearing a familiar voice call to him. He jolted a little before bringing the book even closer to his face to the point of looking ridiculous in a pathetic attempt to not look so embarrassed. His mind had 100% thought back on her words...and her face... and- he shook the thoughts out of his head, she probably didn't mean it how he took it. Yeah, just in a friendly way, right? He wasn't boyfriend material, there was no way.

"Good afternoon!" He answered quickly and awkwardly, his face still in the book "I-I yeah. I caught up on some reading...you didn't seem to have any so I let you sleep" he said quietly after. A silence had fallen between the two before Diana had spoke again, catching him off guard. He had lowered the book and looked straight at her, his cheeks flaring red. Their gazes didn't meet however as Diana had looked away at the same time, she looked embarrassed. "I...I like you too." He had awkwardly blurted back, not sure what other way to put it. "Uhm... Your really fun to be around too and I normally dislike having people around, but not you..." He sighed a little as he left the book on the desk and stood up, rubbing the side of his face with his hand. "So, uhm. Yeah."

Diana looked back up at Elliot as she had a lost look in her eyes, letting out a short sigh before she let out a short laugh, casting her eyes down again, "I don't really know how to explain these emotions... I've... Never experienced them before... that is..." She said with before she held in a hiccup, "Sorry if that's weird," She said with a smile looking back up at Elliot, still holding onto her wound still which was starting to pick up in the level of pain.

She slowly made her way to Elliot before hugging him, well as best she could with one arm, pressing her forehead against his chest before she let out another sigh, "Thank you..." She said as a blush climbed to her cheeks with a fury, her whole face basically as red as a tomato at this point.

He continued to stare at her after he had said his piece, waiting for her reaction, which seemed confused if anything. This only made him more nervous, like she had immediately changed her mind on her thoughts after only just saying them to him. After she had explained herself saying she wasn't used to feeling that way, he could feel himself frowning ever so slightly.

Was she having a feeling that she shouldn't have said what she said? He opened his mouth, ready to tell her to forget about it, that it was fine and not weird and maybe she could make up her mind when she actually understood what she was feeling. She had reached out and hugged him, much to his confusion, so he just completely froze at first, closing his mouth again, ending up not voicing anything he was going to a moment ago. What confused him even more was the fact that this girl hugging onto him was thanking him. He looked down at her as she pressed her head into his chest, blinking as he watched her. He hesitated at first but then slowly moved both of his arms around her and hugged her back, exhaling a breath he hadn't been aware he was holding. "Thank you?" He questioned quietly "What for?"

Diana held onto Elliot a bit more before she lifted her head to look at Elliot, a confused look on her face before it was replaced with a large smile, "For caring," She said quietly as she continued to look at Elliot's face. Geez, what am I doing? The thought went through her brain before she quickly shut it down, still smiling up at Elliot as she realized he had wrapped her into a hug as well.

She gave a quick look around the room before she let out a small laugh, "Well, sort of glad your sister isn't here, if she was I don't think it'd be too fun," She said giving another short laugh before she looked back up at Elliot, a blush still very evident on her face as her eyes trailed over his face, noticing she was staring too long she turned her head down, biting her lip.

Violetta

Regardless of her really bad screwup, it seemed like Kai wasn’t making a big deal out of it. At least not for now. He could have a really big temper if he let himself, but he was also really good at masking it and saving it for later. She figured they were probably going to have an argument about it later, so she started stacking some reasonings and arguments in the back of her mind for whenever that happened. If she wanted to, she could look ahead and see which ones would lead to the least conflict, but she hated being cheap like that. Having returned to her goddess form, she was made aware again of all of time and how it was constantly running through her head, so it was a little hard to ignore those argument timelines after having been human for a bit. But that wasn’t what mattered now. It seemed like Kai wanted to have a nice time for the moment, and that was more than okay with her. “That’s great to hear,” she smiled, glad to know that Kai was doing well with taking care of the kids. Domestic life had never really been Violetta’s style, so she was actually quite glad that Kai had offered to take care of the kids. Not that she would be an absentee mother of course, but it wasn’t her favorite thing to do. She loved her kids, but was excited for when they would be older and easier to deal with. He mentioned having gotten some apples, and flowers for her, and without even meaning to her form had changed from her working one to her normal goddess one, and she excitedly leaned forward and grabbed on to the flowers, holding them delicately in her hands. “Roses! You remembered my favorite!” She grinned widely before kissing him on the cheek. “You are the absolute best. I love you.” It was the little things like this that really made Violetta appreciate Kai. With who she was, it was hard to find someone who could connect with her and understand her, so Kai meant everything to her, and she could only hope he knew it.

Kai had made sure to make it seem like he didn't care about Violetta breaking the promise. In truth he did though. Being powerless... Being human. It was a new experience for him, and he wanted to see the entire thing out with her until the kids were old enough. Unfortunately, that may not be the case now. As he stand there with Violetta, he couldn't bring himself to say anything about it. She seemed happy. Probably because he hadn't brought it up yet, but knowing her, she'd know that he will later. "Yeah, the kids were on the best behavior, just like their dad." He said jokingly. Sometimes he was on his best behavior at least. Sometimes. When he had given Violetta the flowers and she kissed him on the cheek, he laughed a little before looking at her with a smile. "Of course I remembered. It is YOUR favorite flower. The person I hold closest to me." He told her, smiling when she called him the best and told him she loved him. "I'm not the best, I'm just trying to impress... And I love you too, Vio. More than anything." Kai responded before kissing her on the cheek and stretching, and grabbing an apple when he finished. Taking a bite of the fruit, he nodded and walked out of the kitchen and to the kids' room. "I'm gonna check on Mav, and Tori. Make sure they're sleeping well." He said as he walked away.

Elliot tilted his head a little and smiled a little at her answer when she had smiled up at him. "You're welcome?" he said not sure if that was the response she wanted to hear if he were honest. At the mention of his sister being there to tease the two,he shook his head and laughed "Yeah. No. not fun at all. For me anyways, I don't think she'd try to embarrass you, she seems to like you" he said with a smile "I'm just an easy target for her however, so she'd wait until you weren't there then kill me" he said with a slight chuckle before looking back at Diana, who seemed to staring at his face. That would have been fine for a brief moment as he had managed to get used to Diana's eye contact. But Diana had kept staring, with cute pink cheeks for that matter. It was enough to make his brain short circuit that was for sure, so he had snapped his gaze away too to prevent it, looking off to the side.

The pain had passed the annoying level and now was entering painful at this point. She let out a shaky breathe as she moved her arm from around Elliot to her wound on her side, "M-Mind If I sit down? Just getting a bit painful to stand is all," She said giving a forced smile as her face was slightly contorted in pain.

As she moved to the chair at the table she let out a short sigh before hissing, the pain slowly subsiding, "Geez... I guess walking is not that easy as it looks then..." She said looking down at her feet as she once again let out a shaky breathe as the pain began to stop.

"H-Hey Elliot?"
She said in a low voice as she looked at Elliot's face once again, the blush glowing a lighter shade of pink as she bit her lip, "Uhm... Could I have something to eat?" She asked as her face grew even more red after asking. Pull yourself together for christ sake's woman! The thought went through her head as she moved her arm off the wound in her side.

Hearing Diana ask to sit down Elliot had looked straight at her again. Realising his hug was probably the reason the girl was still standing "Oh Shit!" He quickly let go "Y-Yeah. Of course. Sorry!" He blurted as she had now moved back to somewhere she could sit comfortably, mentally scolding himself for causing her pain by being plain stupid.

He had stood there in thought or rather stood there while he scolded himself before Diana had spoke again. Grabbing his attention once more. "Hm?" He paused waiting for her question "Ah, sure you can" he said with a slight smile "Though my fridge has the same crappy selection as yesterday so... sandwiches are all I can offer" he said with a slight laugh. "I hope that's okay?"

Diana turned her head up quickly as she nodded quickly as well, her stomach already saying what she was thinking as the blush grew even more red if at all possible by this point, "Y-Yeah, any food will do If I'm honest," She said giving a short laugh at herself as she tried to relax a bit more into the chair, noticing he was lost in thought half the time.

"Hey... Uhm... Just standing hurts... I liked the hug..." She said as she turned her head down biting onto her lip as she kept wanting to have something to cover her face by this point. Stupid! What hugs!? Seriously!? She kept thinking over how weird that sounded as she sat there lost in thought same as Elliot.

Nyn slowly walked in the halls of the massive academy, she looked around in awe, but with this she became nervous as she though, Where am I supposed to be? She stood still frozen on the middle of the hallway, giving her a feeling of dread. Too many feelings in one go, it was certain this needs time getting used to.

Elliot gave a small nod and a smile as he headed towards the fridge, opening it up he began to search through pulling out some ingredients to make sandwiches with. "Ah, good....I really need to grab some more food next time I'm out" he mumbled the last part to himself as he had his head stuck into the fridge to search for stuff.

He had moved to grab bread from the cupboard above, pulling it down onto the counter as well when she had said about the hug. "Huh- Ah!" He had went to quickly lift his head because of her unexpected comment but ended up whacking it on the open cupboard overhead. He outwardly cringed at his mistake as he rubbed his head with his hand.

"I-I uhm...yeah. Thanks I uh...liked it too" he said with a slight smile as he looked over, his cheeks a bit pink before going back to making the sandwich, making sure to close the cupboard above him before continuing. Once done he had put the sandwich on a plate and left it next to her. He didn't know what else to say honestly, he felt a little... awkward now after what had happened, though he guessed he always felt he was being awkward.

"Sure. Sounds good. Where should we place all this stuff though?" She asked as she began to walk through the gates. She figured she could just put them outside, but she wondered what place is most appropriate for the wolf. She asked Akane because Akane knows more about the place more than her. Hell, she lives here and Makoto just got here the first day and for the first time. She's only seen Akane's room specifically. When Akane then said after they feed the pup, they would head to bed. It left Makoto with another question in her mind. "Oh, if we're gonna sleep after that, where should I sleep?"
Akane raised a brow as she thought of a good place to put the wolf's new belongings. "He can stay in the guest room with you tonight. We'll only be here for one night and then we're off." She said as they closed in on the door. Once they were in front of it, Akane opened it, and motioned for Makoto to follow. "I'll take you to it now, that way you can set up shop for the night and get him all fed and hydrated." Akane smiled and looked back at Makoto, "If you need anything else, let me know now. I'll be able to get it for you. There should be blankets and pillows on the bed in the room, ready for use. A shower if you feel you need another. I had your clothes washed and placed in there for you too. So, anything else?" She asked.

Diana cringed as soon as the bang sounded out from the kitchen, looking up to see Elliot rubbing his head as she let out a small sigh before smiling lightly, the blush fading a bit. As he stated he liked it too her blush went back to full as she let out an awkward laugh as he set the plate next to her, mumbling a small thank you before she began eating the sandwich.

She gave a quick look over at Elliot as she finished eating her sandwich, "Uhm... So... What happens next? I have't really experienced this or anything close to this to be honest sorry," She said as she gave a half awkward laugh, letting out a short his as she used her arm to quickly hold onto the wound on her side, "Ow ow ow," She kept saying under her breathe as she took shaky ones in and out, noticing Elliot already getting worried.

She looked back up at him with a small smile before she let out a small sigh once again, "I-I'm ok, you can stop worrying ok? Just pain I'm going have to get used to for a while," She said with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

Makoto thought about any necessities she would need in her stay. She couldn't exactly ask for anything else that would make it worth Akane's time. Makoto simply shook her head and said "I think I'm good. Oh but wait, shouldn't we also eat as well? Dinner I mean." She was pretty hungry and she doesn't remember eating dinner today. Maybe because Akane had come right before dinner. She sort of realized how rude it was of her mother to not invite a guest for dinner. But it may be for the best. She wanted to know what kinds of meals the Ishidas eat regularly. Then, her stomach growled and it made her blush and feel embarrassed.

If time wasn't limited, Masahi would've pushed the first subject further. In his eyes, it was important to know what weakness felt like, many of his encounters throughout the years were won because he still understood what it was to be too weak even though he had become strong, monstrously so. That was a lesson that one could only learn firsthand. School and safe training, it was meaningless compared to experience, at least to him. The first times he was powerful it was fueled by instinct and pure desperation.

"On a final note, Roman, if he's like you, don't you think it's better to make him understand that sense of loss before he loses anything? I know what a difference 20 seconds, hell, 2 seconds can make. That could've made the difference between seeing her die, and possibly preventing it. I've thought it over, many times. So, if your boy is that good, I have to call you a slacker that I've been taking too seriously."

As Masahi finished talking, only for a brief moment he flashed the semblance of a smile before reverting to his resting face of unsatisfaction. After that Masahi examined the building Roman pointed before warping them to its entrance via Kamui. Upon hearing of Roman's plans Masahi nodded while huffing, not in discontent, but rather amusement.

"Well, I guess you can show me the way to where to mean him then we can call it there for today. Information is usually no good when someone is in a rush, so I'll get it from you another time..." Masahi paused for a moment before looking at Roman. "You know, for people like me, for rather just me, I never think of things like that. I daydreamed while back in the village, but such things that are commonplace for normal people are things out of storybooks to me now. Lets finish this up fast, I'd hate to keep a stranger from her happiness."
Roman understood what Masahi was telling him all too well. One of the many reasons he didn't want to have the conversation anymore. Back then he was that way, but now he was more concerned about the wellbeing of those around him, and that's what mattered. Being so introverted and serious back then. Back when Masahi died in front of him, to save his life. Then not even 2 hours later, witnessing the death of another dear friend at his own hands. He was right. The boy hadn't experienced what the two of them have, and if he was catching up to Roman, then he was doing something wrong. Maybe it was time Roman started going out more, and returning to his old training ways.

"A slacker? I guess you aren't wrong. For awhile now, I've had people doing things for me. Hell, even fighting my battles. Guess it's time I go back out and do things myself or at least help. I'm too young to fall behind, and I guess I do sound like some geezer. Taking down CROSS will be my icebreaker back into my old life... Before all the leadership and stuff."

Roman replied, before being moved to a new area. Seems Masahi had taken them to the building that he had pointed at. Good. Roman knelt down and scanned the area, looking around to see if there was any suspicious activity going on around the area. Luckily, seemed like nothing was happening. When Masahi began to speak, Roman turned and looked at him. Nodding as he said he'd get the information from him a different time.

"Alright, I can respect that. I'll be keeping my eyes open, making sure if anything happens around here, we know the moment it does. I'd make contacting you first priority so we can take care of the situation as quickly as possible." He said, as he stood up and dusted off his vest. "I hate to hear you say that, Masahi. Anyways, what else is there you need?"

Everest smiled as she set the food down Infront of him and smirked slightly before grabbing her wrist and pulling her against him. "Awww are you sure I can't eat you? You're so soft and small!" Saying this he leaned in slightly and latched his mouth onto her ear, nomming it slightly.
It didn't take long for Hakuru's face to completely turn a light shade of pink. It wasn't only because of what Everest had just done, but she could hear Yuri snickering from her seat. The laughing soon stopped though when her drink seemed to mysteriously slide off the table and onto her. "Y-Yeah I'm sure. Now let go, you're going to get me in trouble with the manager"

Nyn continued walking around the hallways pondering about what to do next, to her surprise she found a door with a sign titled - Training room- She then walked in the room, many training dummies standing still, Might aswell practice here for a while She though to herself, closing her eyes she focused in one of the dummies, a purple aura soon flowing through her body, the dummy slowly began levitating in the air. Her hands started to shake and the dummy fell down making quite the noise. She took a few deep breaths and sat on the ground.

Yoichi had decided today would be a good day to get some training in, as usual he grabbed his clothes and got dressed. He walked over to his bedroom window, checking the weather. Seemed like everything was fine so far, so he made his way out of his dorm and to the main building. "No one around... This school only gets more boring by the day." He said, shaking his head and putting his hands in his pockets as he walked towards the doors of the school. There was a few people walking around, didn't seem like any were headed towards the training room, which meant no one would be in his way. Perfect. Opening the door, Yoichi entered the school and headed straight down the hall and to the training room. Hearing some noises in there, he sighed. "God damn it..." He mumbled, pushing the door open, he immediately caught sight of a girl working on what seemed to be telekinesis or something. Without much thought into what he was going to say to this person, he just said the first thing that came to mind... And well... It wasn't the nicest thing to say to someone you don't even know. "You suck at that don't you?" Yoichi asked in a pretty monotone voice as he began stretching. "Wouldn't be surprised if you say yeah." He added.

Surprised by the sudden voice behind her, she turned back to look at the boy, the tone and mean words that came out of him made her feel a somewhat mad mostly because it was true, though it was impossible to notice that just by looking at her face since it was an expresionless one, she just stared at him, her eyes were like a blood moon. "...Don't bother me..." She examined him well, white hair, hot-head, she knew if the talk went on it was sure togoing to end up in a fight.

Yoichi had continued to do his stretches, that is until he heard the girl respond. He wasn't expecting her to say anything if he was being completely honest, and the fact that she did piqued his interest a bit. "And if I continue to do so? If anything, maybe I could give you a pointer or two. Like how you're trying to lift something heavy and not something small. That might actually be a better place to start." Yoichi said in response. "You should try it then tell me if I should not bother you." He added, his tone of voice remaining the same monotone one as before. He was obviously focused more on his workout that this person's request. He was known to do the opposite of what he was told. Mostly because he hated taking orders. From anyone.

When she heard those words she felt weak, more than she already felt, mocked she looked at one of the dumbbells afar and said " .. I will show you why you shouldn't bother me.." She closed her eyes, once again her aura would be flowing through her body even more than before, a 100kg dumbbell would begin to shake slightly, her whole body would now start to shake due to the sheer mental pressure, the dumbbell slowly started to levitate upwards, but it wasn't enough, not enough to prove her point, thats how she felt atleast, she focused entirely on that dumbbell, it would fly upwards until hitting the upside wall. Then suddenly, the dumbbell would fall on the floor, it made a loud bang, making a not big but noticeable crack on the floor. She now opened her eyes, exhausted, she turned back to face him " S-See.. I... proved..." She fell backwards facing upwards, inhaling and exhaling air constantly, an almost unbearable head-ache soon kicked in aswell. But deep down she felt good, she proved that she was no weakling, though she couldn't keep talking nor moving at the moment, she spent all of her energy on that single dumbbell.. that plus she haven't eaten in 2 days, it was hard to remember you re partially human when you have superpowers, her vision soon turned blurry, fainting almost instantly on the scene.

As Yoichi finished his stretches, he walked over to the dummies, about to practice a couple attacks on it, but that's when he heard the girl's voice again. He noticed that one of the dumbbells was shaking, and soon in the air. Pretty high up too. Slightly impressed by her strength, Yoichi almost smiled. When the dumbbell fell to the ground, leaving the crack, he raised a brow only to turn his head and see the girl on the ground too. "Overdid herself... As much as I wanna call you pathetic, I won't." He told her, walking over to her and bending down. Just as he did, he noticed that she had fainted. "Wow..." Figuring that it'd be the right thing to do, Yoichi picked her up and made his way to the infirmary where she could get some rest. She probably wouldn't want to see him when she woke up, but he didn't care as much. As he reached the infirmary, there was another student coming out. Unfortunately, he was in the way, "Move it shithead, or I'll fucking kill you." He barked angrily at the student, causing them to run away. Yoichi then took her inside, and laid her down on a free bed. He then waited, just to make sure the girl was at least aware of what had happened before she passed out.

Many minutes later she slowly opened her eyes, her vision was still somewhat blurry, but as it was slowly fading away it returned to normal. She then noticed she was on a bed and in some weird room she couldn't recognize, the loud boy was there too, she was very confused. Normally she wouldn't even talk to him, but since there was no one around she had no choice, besides he may be the only one that knows what went wrong. " .. What happened?.. Where is this?.." She asked him, trying to figure out why she fainted in the meantime

Yoichi had been checking out some videos to pass the time until she woke up. Once she did, he sighed and put his phone away. In response to her questions, he simply answered, "You're in the infirmary. You fell out trying to prove yourself or whatever." He said, pointing to a few other students who had been in there, getting their injuries treated. "Not like I care or anything, but since I'm at fault here, I might as well ask, how are you feeling?"
