Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

The eggs were quickly done and Logan quickly put them onto a plate and looked over to Scarlet. He didn't notice that she had been watching him as he cooked the eggs, mainly because of how focused he was on that one thing. Smiling, he slid the plates closer to her so she could put the pancakes onto them once they were finished. "Really? Great! We can finally have some fun, rather than being buried in schoolwork. These guys never let up."
He said, turning off the fire and going to the refrigerator to get the orange juice out. He then got a couple of glasses and placed them on the counter top beside it, leaving it there for when they got ready to eat. "I'm gonna make sure to eat a lot while we're there. The amusement parks can have some really tasty foods from time to time, and spending some quality time with the greatest person I know. What about you? What are you looking forward to?"

Scarlet placed both the pancakes on the plate he brought over and nodded in agreement. "Yeah. I completely agree. They give us so much homework, it's ridiculous." She said. She poured in the rest of the batter, making two more pancakes and leaving them alone to cook as she turned to look at him. "Yeah, they can be expensive though, but it's worth it." She responded. "What am I looking forward to? Hmm... Spending time with you is an obvious one~ But I'm also looking forward to getting to have fun with you and going on rides together." She smiled. Sure she'd been to the amusement park before, but depending on who you're with, it can be a whole different experience.

Logan couldn't agree more with Scarlet. Food will always be one of his main motives to do things though, Scarlet being his other one. With a glowing grin on his face, his tongue turned into a flame and he stared at her with his fist raised, "I'm making sure to take you on each and every one too! I want you to enjoy the day, but also enjoy the park, not just my presence."

Scarlet listened to him as she placed the last two pancakes onto the plate. Did he really plan on taking her on every ride? She should really prepare herself then, she doubted that he was joking when he said that. "I'm sure I will, amusement parks are always exciting" She said. "In the meantime, It look's like the food is ready!~"

After a moment, Seria opened the door and they ended up back in the dark room with only two more doors. One being unchained, the other being heavily chained. But at the same time, the door being distorted occasionally. Seria then walked up to the unchained door but sit against it. It looks as if she wasn't ready quite yet. She looked up at Elliot wondering what he'd do.
Elliot had followed her out of the door and back into the dark room they had started out in once again. He had still remained silent to this point, he didn't feel like she wanted his input on what had just happened in that last memory. As Seria approached the door and sat down rather than going in, Elliot simply watched her at first, looking back at her when she had moved her eyes in his direction. His gaze snapped to the door then back to Seria before he let a quiet sigh and began to walk over to her. "You can talk about it if you want." He offered as he sat down on the ground near her "Y'know. What happened back there I mean..." He added quietly. After a moment of thinking over his words he then began looking straight at her, waving his hands and speaking again, looking a bit awkward "I mean- Only if you want to that is! I-I'm not forcing you to! I'm just saying you can and-" he paused lowering his hands again "and I'm rambling on....Sorry" he said in a quieter tone like earlier as he looked off to the side and sighed a little. He had no idea what the right thing to do was but he was quite obviously trying.

The coin moved to spell out Seiko and immediately she fell silent looking down face as red as a tomato. "I-I uh.." She said unable to think up of a response. Despite Kokkuri-san being a trickster spirit, she believes it one hundred percent. "W-Wow." She said looking away. She used her free hand to hide her face in her hood.

Levi on the other hand laughed out when the coin had spelt out Seiko as his future wife. Being a bit more skeptical about this telling the future business, he felt the future could always change at the drop of a hat therefore seeing that far into the future didn't seem like it would be all that accurate to him. It was because of this that he had picked up Kokkuri-san's answer as a joke without too much hesitation. "Cool!" He said as his laughter died down and he put his hands into his pockets. His blue eyes had settled on the now bright red Seiko who was trying to hide her face. Such a sight amused him of course, adorable in his opinion and in response to such a sight he gave Seiko a large grin "Wow? Wow what. You think I'd make a bad husband or what?" He asked, pretending to be offended in a clearly joking way as he gave a pretend gasp and removed one hand from his pocket to place on his chest for effect.

"N-No it's not that." she said quickly ending the Kokkuri ritual in what can only be described as clumsy but fortunate as the Kokkuri spirit left amused with the drama it had caused. "I-I don't think you'll be a bad husband." She said and realized what she was saying and panicked covering her face more even redder than before. Matsuko glared at Levi as Seiko used the table to cover her face. "You're so cruel Levi!" She said pouting after reemerging from the bottom of the table. She took off her hood. Matsuko was back to her idle position when that happened smiling.

Seria soon averted her gaze somewhere else and rested her head on her palm. "We were childhood friends. Known him ever since I started training." She said before she just continued to stare out into the darkness of the room, becoming unmotivated to go on to the next door. "Why're we doing this anyway? There really is no purpose in it."

Asako raised her eyebrows at being called unique. She tilted her head, "Really? Hmmm.... I don't think so~ I'm pretty normal" She said and grinned. She knew she wasn't really normal compared to a lot of other people, but she didn't see herself as unique either. Though, people did say that everyone was unique in their own way, so maybe she was. "What makes you say that?" She asked, curious as to how he considered her unique.

----------------------------

Allen's grin grew a little after she said something, it was just a word, but it was something. He decided against actually doing it, Ilaani would probably poison his coffee with all the poison she has around her kitchen or something. He broke his stare and laughed, finding her reaction funnier than it probably really was. "Don't worry, I won't do it" He said. It didn't take him long to stop laughing. "Ah, I'm sorry, I don't know why I found that so funny." He said once he had fully stopped. "You're lucky I value my life, I don't want to risk being poisoned." He said jokingly.
Kenai raised a brow at her when she said she was pretty normal, both he and she knew she wasn't. Neither of them were normal really, after all one was pretty much a wolf and the other a light spirit, there was nothing normal about either of those things. He took a bite from his sandwich as she asked him what made her unique narrowing his eyes as he thought about his response. "Well. I dunno. You just are." He said with a shrug, he paused for a moment before continuing his answer, he wasn't always the best with wording things so it was taking him a bit to think on what he was attempting to say "You always have this... vibe that follows you. A good one of course. You make people smile and not because you are trying really hard to be funny or cute or anything like that because you aren't trying. You do it just because you are you. You can manage to make me smile and help motivate me to get up off my butt and do stuff. That takes a bit of work to get me to do so I think I'm proof of my point." He looked to her for a moment before looking back to his food "Not many people are like that...does that answer you question?" He asked as he lifted his sandwich to take another bite of it.

----------------------

Ilaani narrowed her eyes further when he laughed and looked away from her. "I'm not worried" she said as she looked away from him as well. She smiled when he joked about valuing his life over being poisoned, laughing a little herself. "Good. Good. You don't know when I could just slip something toxic into your coffee" she said jokingly, rolling her eyes a little. "I'm kidding. I don't have posions in my kitchen I can poison your coffee with I'm not some kind of messed up witch. Still though. Don't do it. Can't promise I won't just punch you instead. I only need fists for that." As she finished her last to sentences she tilted her head and gave an jokingly innocent smile for a few seconds "Speaking of coffee though. We forgot to even order ours..." She trailed off as her gaze moved to view the counter behind them.

"N-No it's not that." she said quickly ending the Kokkuri ritual in what can only be described as clumsy but fortunate as the Kokkuri spirit left amused with the drama it had caused. Matsuko was back to her idle position when that happened smiling.

When Seiko began to say how he wouldn't be a bad husband Levi realised that Seiko was taking the fortune from Kokkuri-san seriously. He blinked a few times, at first trying his best to keep his composure but ultimately ended up laughing out again when she used the table to cover her face. It was then that he had spotted Matsuko glaring at him again. He had stopped laughing at this stage, while staring back at the doll he he rolled his eyes at it, stopping just before Seiko had began to reemerge from under the table. He took a step back as she did so, staring at her when she lowered her hood. "I'm sorry Seiko!" He said with another small chuckle "I'm not saying I'd never marry you, you're pretty awesome and all...but, don't you think maybe Kokkuri-san may have been joking with us?" He asked as he tilted his head to the side a little.

"Jeez you're so cruel for laughing." She pouted. "Well, I don't think Kokkuri-san would like to us." She said clearly being gullible. She placed Matsuko in her backpack and was still upset that she was laughed at showing a somewhat cute stern face. "So, uh... Do you want to walk home with me?" She offered face glowing red.

He said after a moment "What's good about not knowing who you are and getting drunk being the only way you can sort of enjoy yourself. I mean you seemed happiest when you were tipsy and when you were like that you were remembering stuff or a name atleast. I'd safely bet that's why because of the very faint memories you were having before you conked out from drinking." He started, moving to lean his back against the wall next to the door now. "I don't think I'd ever trade my bad memories or experiences for anything because that means forgetting the good ones too and those bad ones? They are still worth something because they teach you your mistakes and help to mold who you are and how you feel about things wheither you like it or not all you are without them is a stranger to yourself. If you didn't have them and lived on without your memories wouldn't you be tempted to just know who you are?" He asked before shrugging as his shoulders and looking to the ground "I'm sorry for for speaking out of line like that but I thought maybe you needed to hear it. If you still feel like stopping here I won't force you and we can leave... But I'll stick around if you want to continue, I know I'm not much help but at least that way you aren't completely alone when going through the scary parts of your memories.

Levi rubbed the side of his face with his hand "I know, I know I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself" he apologized, his smile more friendly than mischievous now "And I don't know. If I was a spirit that could tell the future I know I'd spread a joke or two for laughs but maybe that's just me" he said with a small shrug, his eyebrows raising when she asked about walking home with him, noticing how red the Seiko's face was getting "uh...Sure! why not." He eventually agreed with a small smile, after all they both lived at the school dorms, they'd be walking back the same way anyways.

...⚶Caelum sat within his royal baths, his mind wandering to the past. It could be said that he was nervous. It had been many centuries since he'd last seen his daughter, as he had sent Luminaire to a Fae named Ayen in hopes of her destructive tendencies being fixed. He could only guess what she has done since then, given her previous track record with rebirths. If the other Phoenixes found that he was incompetent at fixing his daughter, moreso then fathering a broken Phoenix in the first place, he could've been overthrown, and that was not an option for him. As a result, he kept his daughter's disappearance a secret, and as he waited throughout the ages, he began to lose hope that she'd ever be normal. The constant avoidance of the Luminaire topic around the Phoenix nobles had begun to wear thin, and the thought of a coup began to be more than just an afterthought, and could soon become reality. It wasn't until recently that he'd heard rumours of a female phoenix attending a school, and so he sent his son, Lux off to retrieve her as quietly as possible. At this point, he'd been gone for a little over three weeks. Whether it was Luminaire or not, he had to know. Caelum sighed and lowered into his bath and closed his eyes, attempting to relax himself, that was, until he felt Lux's fire coming towards him, along with another, familiar fire. He manifested a shirt and trousers onto his body and looked behind him and up into the air, his eyes soon fixating on one single point, his son, Lux approaching the household with his unconscious sister. He called out to Lux as his eyes wandered over to Luminaire's unconscious body, the water still dripping from his golden hair⚶...

Ah, you're back! And I see you've found Luminaire and brought her home with you, albeit unconscious. Tell me, my dear Lux, what exactly happened to her?

Character Information

Location:
His home.

Mood:
Calm, Collected.

Status:
Conversing with Lux regarding Lumina.

Objective:
See if his daughter is alright.

Interacting With: Lumina and Lux.

Theme:

Luxe
Luxe landed before Caelum, his wings evaporating into streaks of flame behind him as his feet touched down. The young phoenix set Luminaire down gently, and kneeled, bowing to his father as the man stood before him.

"I found her at the school. It took forever, and I...I just got so excited...I didn't think. I tried to talk to her, but she didn't seem to recognize me at first. After I left, she found me...she said my name before she passed out."

Luxe bowed even more deeply to Caelum, his eyes planted firmly on the ground as he worried over what his father's response would be.

"I'm sorry, father. I didn't know what to do, how to help her..."

LUMINA

Since falling unconscious, the phoenix remained still. Despite her unmoving body, her mind seemed to be moving a mile a minute, in the sense that memories from many years and multiple lifetimes were finally starting to come back, though only in short, sporadic bursts. The memories had only returned back to where she met the old man in the forest during the beginning of her current life, and while they would have kept returning at the rate they were, meeting Lux as she did and interacting with a locket from their shared past sped up the process a bit. But because it was prematurely sped up, the memories weren't complete, her mind protecting itself by not letting all the memories come back fully. If they had, the sheer number of new memories was sure to break her mind. In this way, the memories would fully restore in time. For now, the bursts would do. Lumina stayed unconscious the entire flight to their home, which was a fairly long distance away from the school. The sun was starting to fade from the sky and it was turning to dark, yet the cold night air was nowhere to be seen. The land that the phoenixes inhabited was at a higher temperature, an ideal situation for them. It felt like summer year round, which was good since the race didn't thrive well in colder temperatures. Even as Lux landed and placed the unconscious phoenix on the ground she didn't move. The effect of meeting her brother seemed to have a huge effect on her mind and body, and it was a bit too much for the, frankly, frail girl. She had grown stronger over her years at FHS, but she was still on the slimmer side. It wouldn't take many hits from a strong enemy to wipe her out.

Her figure on the ground showed the recent years she had lived. The slightly faded color of her wings from having hid them for so long, with only the tips having begun to restore their color. The slight bend in the wing from where she had broken it back at the estate. The scar on her arm from where she cut herself trying to prove to Kenji who she really was. The hidden scar on her chest where Thomas had impaled her back at Siegfried's base. The muscle she had gained from training herself on Ecrilia was there, but it wasn't super noticable. It had been a good while since then, so it's obvious look had faded some. Her face looked halfway between serene and pained, her blonde hair splayed on the ground acting as a stark contrast against the darkening setting around them. It seemed she was finally home... though not in a way that any of them had intended.

Elliot frowned a little as she spoke about her friend, looking over at her when she asked why they were doing what they were doing. "...So you're trying to say you'd rather have no memories?" He said after a moment "What's good about not knowing who you are and getting drunk being the only way you can sort of enjoy yourself. Seria listened to him, her expression being stoic as he talked. After awhile after his lecture, she got up and placed her hand on the door. She sighed before she spoke, pushing the door open which then revealed some kind of divine light that would blind them and take them to the memory. "For me, I don't exactly care who I am exactly, all I need to know is that I'm alive and well. And that's all I have, then what more can I ask for?"

Ansom sighed as he packed the items into the box, stacking books upon books into the cardboard box. Serenity had been staying with him for a couple of weeks but she recently found a new place and was making Ansom pack all her stuff. It was quite a boring job but he did it anyway. He didn't know what compelled him to do so but he simply felt it was the right thing to do. "I'm really becoming soft, aren't I?" He spoke, looking up at the cat that sat on a bench, licking itself. Ansom stared at the cat and it eventually looked back at him before getting off the bench and bounding off.

Ansom gave another sigh and closed the final box, taping the lid shut with clear packing tape. After finished with the closing, Ansom waved his hand and caused the numerous boxes to float off the ground and into the bed of the truck that Ansom bought just to do the delivery of the books and clothes. He then closed the truck bed and spun the keys around his finger as he looked at the watch on his wrist. He still had several hours before he actually needed to meet Serenity so he decided to go for a walk around campus.

Ansom stuffed the keys into his back pocket and then pushed his hands into his two front ones. He walked out of the parking lot and onto the sidewalk as he walked through the campus, looking around at all the students.

Elliot watched her as she stood up and walked to the door, his brows slightly raised when she spoke about not caring about who she was. Standing up, his eyes glanced to the door then back to Seria. He did not respond to her answer, simply following her instead as he himself neared the door too. If she didn't see the point in this at all and was sure she didn't care who she was, then why was she continuing? It was the question that was rattling around most in his head right now but he decided not to pursue the answer. He'd just accompany her for whatever was at the other side of that light.

After Elliot went to help Seria with her memory problems Elaena was more or less left on her own, she had promised Seria she wouldn't enter her consciousness even if it was to help out and she was someone who would try her best to uphold promises unless she really couldn't. So, for now she'd let her brother help out. She had left the two and headed back to the school grounds, when first passing the girls dorms she contemplated going to her dorm to take a nap but decided against it this time around, she may have been always that little bit sleepy but she had been trying her best to nap less lately, there was no point in going to school if she was going to sleep through most of her classes. She continued on her way past the dormitories and heading closer to the courtyard and main entrance. She had no exact destination in mind but after all, most interesting things that way. Since class had ended for the day the courtyard had students walking around at a much calmer pace than usual, some sitting on the grass here and there, some leaving campus and others wandering around at their leisure just as she was. As she continued on her way her amber eyes had spotted someone who seemed familiar to her. Not that she didn't know the other faces of students that attended there of course but it was the fact that the person she had spotted was someone she hadn't seen in quite a while that grabbed her attention. Her movements where slow and fluid as always but still noticeable as she raised her hand and waved in his direction wearing a soft smile. She wasn't sure if he'd remember her or not but she felt there was no harm in saying hello either way.

Logan then took a few out before using his hands to cooked them. Controlling fire made life so much easier at times. Placing the freshly cooked sausages onto the plates, he looked at Scarlet, "There we go. I'll pour the orange juice momentarily."

Scarlet blinked when he had mentioned sausages. She had completely forgotten about those. Luckily, Logan was able to remember and cook them within seconds. Would cooking them with magic make them taste different? Probably not, fire was fire either way. "Alright, I'll get the syrup then" She said as she walked over to the fridge. She opened it up and glanced through it before seeing where it had been placed. She picked it up and placed it on the counter with one hand, shutting the fridge with another. "I think we did a pretty good job, it smells great~"

(Ansom is open for anyone that feels like interacting. Just tag me if you do.)

The setting soon began to clear and they were already greeted by slaughter. Though it was Seria causing the mayhem. She was going rogue and killing knights. Then it moved to a flash back of to when she was coming back from the previous slaughter, the knights who were at the city gates didn't recognize her, but felt an abnormally large demonic aura coming from her. They then started to attack her, not asking any questions. Though Seria didn't pay any mind and fought back. It then moved to the current memory, which you can tell, she showed no mercy or make any stand to defend her identity. She was lost, confused, stressed and enraged. When she got to the city gates, things only worsened as even more guards went to stop her only to meet their demise. These were one of those moments where there was no definite villain. But to the knights and guards, it marked Seria as the enemy. And through Seria's thoughtless and aggressive actions, her truth was no longer valid. She now lost her home. She has nothing else to live for or on. The only thing she can do now is just... Kill or be killed. In other words, die.

Zygote was in dorm room getting ready for school. He was excited to go to school. Zygote had never been to school before it would be his first time experiencing something like this. He was just getting out of the shower and had threw on his school uniform. He had messed up his hair that's how he liked it. Zygote had opened the door and started down the street. When he was walking he had found a new place to eat. It was selling his favorite food ramen. Zygote had to get to school but also really wanted ramen. Zygote had walked in the ramen store and asked for one to go he thought to himself,"Oh boy i cant wait to sink my teeth into this. This was my most brilliant plan yet." Zygote had ate his ramen while walking to his brand new school.
When Zygote had arrived to the school he couldn't believe what he saw. "Is every school like this or boy am i lucky to have gotten into this one." The school was enormous it was bigger than any building he had ever seen. Zygote had walked in. It looked even better from the inside.
He couldn't waste his time he had to look for his class and he knew it was going to be a pain. So Zygote had to think big he had used his super speed to find his first class.

Ansom watched as the birds fluttered around and the people chatted all over the campus. It was another lively day as it seemed to be often. There once was a time where Ansom would find all the noise and peace disgusting and would stop at nothing to destroy that peace, but those days were over. Ansom began to enjoy and relish the peace and noise that the school brought. He would ofttimes find himself walking the streets of the city without any final destination, only a simple craving to hear the nonsensical noise of the conversations around him.

The Anti-God's eyes continued to scan across the campus when they suddenly met with a girl that had her hand up in a wave. She seemed to be looking at Ansom and there was no one too terribly close to home so that girl must've been waving at him. He assumed the female was simply a friendly person so Ansom waved back. As he waved, he squinted his eyes at the girl and then widened them in recognition. "Elaena." He murmured under his breath before his confused frown turned into a wide smile. His course immediately changed to where he was walking towards the girl. After all, it had been a long time since Ansom saw someone he knew.

As he neared, Ansom began to think about the last time he saw Elaena. The two went to grab something to eat and he had ended up leaving abrubtly. He shook his head slightly, a feeling of regret coming over him. He hoped there were no hard feelings over the two. "It is such a nice thing to see an old friend." He said as he neared Elaena, opening his arms in a wide gesture before closing them in a clasped manner down underneath his hip. He smiled at the girl, revealing that his facial features have gone from the hardened and mischievous look to a more relaxed and kind look. His purple eyes were much more soft and telling rather than intimidating and off-putting. "How have you been?"

Elaena had tilted her head to one side slightly as he waved back, seeming as though he didn't recognise her at first, which was fine. It had been a while and she assumed being who he was he probably met a lot of people and that could be hard to keep track of. Seeing his expression turn to that of recognition and course of travel changing to meet her, her smile grew slightly. "Hello Ansom. Indeed it is." She answered with a nod of her head. "Infact, I was almost certain you wouldn't recognise me for a moment there" she gave a soft laugh as her hands retreated to hold on to the straps of her school bag. She looked up at him now that he had reached as far as where she was standing, her eyes examining him for a brief moment. There was something a bit different about his expression and demeanor than she remembered, not in a bad way nor in an unfamiliar way as she felt he was somewhat of an approachable person from the start, he just seem so much more so now. She wasn't sure of it was a lifestyle change on his part or if he just seems more mellow because she was considered as a friend by him now but it wasn't a question that lingered too much on her mind at the moment so she instead moved to answer his question. "Oh, I have been quite well thank you~ and yourself? Did you get that thing sorted that you needed to do last time we met?" She asked, her expression and tone curious before giving a smile. It seemed as though she didn't find his quick exit last time they met much of a problem. She was a laid back person, such things didn't really get on her nerves, he had a reason at the time and that was enough for her.

Ansom rubbed the back of his head when Elaena mentioned that she thought he wouldn't remember her. In the past, Ansom never remembered faces other than his sister and Violetta. However, in recent years, Ansom had met numerous people that he could recall, spanning from ex-lovers to daughters to simple commoners. Perhaps he remembered them because he had honestly tried to keep them around...all to no avail. A cloak of sadness fell over Ansom's face before it quickly faded away and replaced with the original look of kindness and joy.

"Of course I remember you. How could I forget?" Ansom gave a wide smile and a nod of his head, listening to the rest of Elaena's voice. He learned that he enjoyed conversation very much. He enjoyed listening. "I've been exceptionally well. I have felt so free and relieved in recent months. I don't know why." A soft chuckled followed Ansom's words.

When Elaena asked if he had taken care of what he left to do on their last engagement, Ansom's face flared red a bit. It was rare to make the Anti-God blush but it had been slowly becoming more and more common.
"I did. I am terribly sorry that I left so quickly." He said in a hurried manner. "Perhaps I can make it up to you?"
