Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Fortunately she was caught on time. "S-Sorry for causing you trouble." She said embarrassed her face turning red in his arms after she fell not because of love but more on the line of she can't keep her balance. Matsuko just watched with a less menacing than usual expression. "Thanks for catching me." Seiko said smiling and stood up using her staff.
Levi didn't really take her reddening face as anything more than that anyways, he knew she was embarrassed about her clumsiness, she has been everytime it happened today so far. After he was sure she had righted herself and was on her feet he took a step back from her "No problem, I couldn't just let you fall on your face like that, it would be just cruel. And you aren't causing me trouble at all, don't worry" if he were honest, her presence even with her clumsiness was amusing him. Which was hard to do with Levi, his attention span could be incredibly short if someone or something didn't interest him, hence his bad school attendance.

"Guess I'll go and pay." She said taking it her coin purse and opening it coins falling all over the floor in front of the cashier and she bent over to pick it up hitting her head on he rim of the counter crouching down and rubbing her forehead. "Ow!" She said. She picked up the correct amount of coins and paid for all of them.

Alejandro sat quietly, having looked away from Astrid after saying such embarrassing things... Things he held close to his heart. These feelings he had were there for quite awhile, but being so cold and distant from everyone... He felt maybe she didn't even look at him twice. That was wrong though and he was happy about it. When Astrid asked if she was enough, tears began to well up in Alejandro's eyes and he sat beside her once more. When she asked if it was okay that she stayed by his side, he looked at her and quickly wrapped his arms around her in a hug. "You're more than enough. Everything I needed... And I need you by my side, so please... Don't go anywhere." Alejandro said, holding onto Astrid. He eventually pulled back from the hug, looking Astrid in her eyes. "I want you there as more than my partner... More than my friend..."
He said, his eyes still locked onto her's. Alejandro couldn't bring himself to look away. He never was able to get a good look at Astrid, but at this moment, it was just them. He felt a bit nervous, but he had high hopes. After all, he died for her, and she fought to protect him. They two of them proved their loyalty to one another after all this time. She was even there when things started to go bad for him... Astrid was... Always there.

Astrid

Astrid just looked up at Alejandro, the tears falling from her eyes as she did. Gods this was terrifying, being in this less-than-ideal situation. A part of her wanted to run away, to not have him see her in such a state, to deal with these terrifying emotions on her own. But then there was also a part of her that just wanted this to go well, to finally go through with the feelings she'd been harboring for quite a while now. Obviously, she wasn't alone in this, as Alejandro had sat back down next to her and was teary-eyed as well. Feeling his embrace, one filled with a genuine love for her, Astrid found herself hugging him back, burying her face in his shoulder as he answered her question. She was enough. He wanted her by his side. Every secret feeling that Astrid had deep inside was being affirmed in this moment, and it felt so so good. It felt good to not be lying to herself about how she felt, or lying to Alejandro with the words she'd choose to say. She thanked the gods that Taylor had partnered them up all that time ago. It was because of him that Astrid had found her soulmate, the ice to her fire, her opposite, her other half. Feeling Alejandro lean back from the hug, she nodded to his plea for her to stay by his side as more than a friend, tears still snaking down her cheeks. "Of course I will! I'll always be by your side... always, always, always." She sniffled, trying and failing to keep her composure. "I love you Alejandro. Gods, I love you so much. Just like you, I need you. I've always needed you, even when I didn't want to admit it. I-I don't want to exist without you by my side anymore. I can't do it alone anymore. Please..."

Elliot stared at the scene, blinking a fee times "Well, I guess that's one way of proving your worth" he said with a nod "That was pretty cool" he said with a bit of a laugh "Im guessing they join after that? It would suck if they had still said no after that..." He said as he looked back at Seria. Though as impressive as that was, he assumed that this part wasn't the point of this door exactly...
"They accepted me, except for the recruiter. He was... Very jealous. Shall we continue?" She said as she looked over to Elliot.

Zero always disliked the first few days of school, teachers always had them doing things like team building exercises or activities that would let the class get to know you. He didn't mind not having to do any work, but it gets annoying after a while. He was lucky enough to get a couple people he knew in his classes, at least he'd have people he could immediately go to if there were ever a group project. Once he heard the last bell of the day ring, he quickly gathered his things together and exited the class. He couldn't wait to go back to his dorm and just relax. Looking to his right he noticed a familiar face, though, he didn't seem to be doing so well. He stopped walking and immediately began making his way over to him, going home could wait. It was clear that somebody had given him a beating. Even though he had only spoken with him once, Ryft didn't seem like the type of person to get into fights. His brows furrowed with concern. "Ryft?..... Hey, what happened?"
tumblr_o5funwa0ZS1ujssijo1_540.gif

Ryft-MK80

Sure, Ryft might be a literal humanize weapon. But he wasn't confrontational or violent unless he had a Wielder to make him that way. He refused to fight back unless he was told to, because a weapon is nothing without its Wielder. That's what he was programmed to be like, so that's the way he thought. For being a literal weapon, Ryft wasn't the biggest fan of violence, it was more that he enjoyed having a purpose as a weapon. If his Wielder's purpose is violence, then so be it. Self-defense, or training, that was cool too. But on his own? Ryft was totally docile. A kind boy who wouldn't fight back, even against bullies who wanted nothing more than to beat his face in. It was only when they noticed that he wasn't putting up a fight that the group of boys finally left him alone, though Ryft doubted it'd be for long. So when he heard someone approach, he flinched and tensed up, reflexively thinking they were back for more. Instead it was the kind boy from earlier in the day. The one who had helped him to his first class. "Zero...?" he muttered, looking over at the boy. Zero looked a little different than he last remembered, but maybe it was some residual effect from being hit in the head one too many times. His voice was the same, that was the main giveaway. It was a kind voice. Strong, yet gentle. A nice voice. "Some kids from my first class ganged up on me, and beat me up." Ryft stated plainly, but his tone of voice showed some sad acceptance. There was nothing he could do about it, so why get upset? "I-I'm fine," he lied, mainly to himself, trying not to wince. He didn't want Zero to get worried over him or anything. Standing up was difficult, from the residual pain from the beating. Even still, there was something else on the bullied boy's mind. He fingered a lock of hair nervously, occasionally glancing at Zero, "A-anyways, you um...you remembered my name?" It was a sentiment he wasn't used to. He was the type of boy to kind of fade into the background, not really be noticed all that much. So for someone to actually remember his name, and even show him concern, took him by surprise, though he was secretly happy from it too.

Alejandro didn't say anything. He just let the moment play itself out... Something like this was something he'd only expect to see in fairy tales or movies, but it felt nice to experience. The love from another person who you've liked for quite some time now. To hear them say such words. Behave in such a way that you'd never in your life expect to see. When Astrid began to speak, Alejandro listened, his attention being all for her at this time. He was happy to hear her agree to be with him, overjoyed at that. He could hear how much she meant what she was saying in her voice. Astrid's final words echoed through his head like a drum constantly being banged on. "You don't ever have to worry about being alone again.Forget that you ever were, because I'll be with you. Just say my name and if I have to, I'll come from the other side of the planet just to do even the simplest of tasks, Astrid. I mean it." Alejandro smiled and gently his fingers on Astrid's chin. His own tears had stopped, and he was ready to face Astrid with his confidence restored. Slowly, he lifted her head back up, putting them at eye level. "You don't have to cry anymore..." He said. Alejandro soon found himself closing in on Astrid and planting a kiss on her lips... One of the last things he expected himself to do. It was all just instinct.

Rini simply smiled a little at the girl, glad that she didn't make a fuss about having to clean up what she had messed. Honestly Rini wasn't sure Chiharu had actually gotten the message that making messes wasn't exactly good behavior which was kind of the goal here. But she just couldn't bring herself to tell her off or be angry at such a young and innocent child. She had no idea how parents could do that. "Good, because we'll be going once we clean up and do some cooking" she said smiling down at the bouncing girl before grabbing a broom to sweep up the cereal on the floor of the living area "Let's get started shall we? You can show me how good you are at tidying up" She suggested in attempt to make chores somewhat interesting to a 5 year old. She had been thinking over Chi's words and wondered if she should correct Chiharu for naming her and Misafune Mama and Papa too. Yes, they were now caring for her full time as parents would as no information could really be found on where she came from, but was it right to just slide herself into the position of parent? So far, she hadn't told Chiharu calling them that was wrong, bit she hadn't really encouraged it either, it just seemed as though even if she would refer to herself and Misafune using their own names to Chiharu, she just used Mama and Papa anyways. She guessed if that's what made the girl happiest, she didn't mind it. All she wondered was would it confused things if she got attached in that way and then Chiharu's actual parents found her. She guessed that was a thought for another time.

She had looked back at him now that those watching from the doorway to the music room had dispersed and gone back to their business...or gossiping, probably the latter it was highschool after all. She wasn't one to care about that right now so they could say whatever, she had more important things on her mind. She paused for a moment or two when he had asked what had happened to her, seemingly trying to formulate an answer. She didn't exactly have a straight answer simply because she wasn't 100% sure what happened either, it felt like she had all these memories that she didn't before, like she's been alive for years more than she was aware of and right now her mind was still trying to sort which were memories and which were visions of what was yet to come down to her because of her abilities. That and how do you explain that you suddenly have many memories of someone you were supposed to have only just met? "I... I see visions" She eventually answered. She sighed before speaking again "What if I told you that because of those visions I came here. I was told to come find someone. Someone that I'm fairly certain is you." she said, frowning ever so slightly and glancing off to the side now. what if he thought she was completely crazy now. She had spent the past few days wondering how she was going to approach telling him why she was here in the first place. Now it was happening far from smoothly.

Chiharu

"Okay!" was all that the small girl had said as she ran toward the living room to clean up. If this was a mess, and cleaning up the mess meant that she got to see Misafune, she was more than happy to comply. For the most part, she wasn't fussy, listening to Rini and Misafune and doing what she was told to do. Except maybe bathtime, she was always stubborn about that. But she was always easy to bargain with, especially if it meant getting to do the things she liked, like seeing her Mama and Papa. The girl went about picking up as many toys as her arms could carry and placing them back in their spots, or what she guessed was their spots. Not everything fit nicely back where she put it, but it was better than nothing. "We're going to see Papa~" she sang to herself, grabbing her dolls and placing them back in the bin with the rest of them. To Chiharu, calling Misafune "Papa" and Rini "Mama" made complete sense. In her mind, they were her biological parents. Somehow in reverting back to her actual body, in her memories her biological parents were replaced with Misafune and Rini. So everything that she would have done with her biological parents, Chiharu now saw as having done them with Misafune and Rini. Of course, Chiharu didn't know the gravity of what that kind of memory manipulation might mean, but the small girl genuinely saw her current caretakers as her actual parents. So of course she would call them as such! Eventually, all the toys in the living room were cleaned up, and she ran over to wherever Rini was at the moment. "I cleaned it up!" she exclaimed, hoping they'd be able to go see Misafune now.

Kansuke

Kansuke's back was to the music room, so he couldn't see the students finally starting to ignore them. Even if he could, they wouldn't matter at all to him. Mizuki was in distress, and he felt like it was his duty to help her out. There was obviously something going on, and he wanted to make sure he did everything he could to help her. He wasn't at the level of mental clarity that Mizuki was about who exactly they were, so everything seemed a little strange at the moment, but he'd work through it if it helped her. Gods, what was up with him today? He'd never met this girl before this last week and yet her happiness and health was his number one concern. This was very strange to feel this way, but also at the same time it felt normal, like he'd done this before a hundred times. He was about to say something when she finally answered his question, about how she sees visions. His eyes widened at hearing that, not sure what to make of that answer. He had heard rumors that the princess back in his homeland had the same kind of ability, but it was nothing but rumors there. If what she said was true, and that she was the princess, then that'd both confirm her story and confirm the rumors. She looked upset as she continued speaking, ending her words by saying that her visions were leading her to come find him. Kansuke's heart beat hard in his chest, and without even realizing he had reached over and grabbed her hands, squeezing them reassuringly. "I know it probably feels like what you're seeing and feeling is crazy, but... I don't think so. From the moment I saw you, I felt like I somehow knew you. I know I've never met you before, but there's just something about you that makes me want to make sure you're okay. To protect you. Especially if you're from my home, that gives me even more reason to." Kansuke smiled, his eyes softening. "If your visions were leading you to me, then maybe my feeling of somehow knowing you might also be connected to that. Maybe it'll be important to us to find out what this connection is between us. So I promise, whatever you need me to do, or wherever you need to go, I'll be there for you. I'll stand by your side through whatever you or we need to go through. I give you my word, Mizuki." Kansuke looked at Mizuki for a moment longer before realizing just what he had said and done, and he quickly retracted his hands as an embarrassed blush came over his cheeks. "I-I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me there..." He nervously apologized, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.

Roman watched as his hand was pushed away. He understood exactly what Masahi meant when he said what he said and hid what he did. As Roman said before, even they can alter fate, but he could see that Masahi wasn't planning on doing that... Therefore Roman didn;t try to convince him to allow him to help with his situation, and instead kept his mouth shut and his mind on the plan, only shaking his head in agreement to Masahi's denial to his offer. His family was indeed his main priority, but that didn't mean his friends weren't a priority. Unfortunately, he was going to have to put that aside in Masahi's case.

As Masahi went back to explaining the missing details of what was needed to be known, Roman simply listened in. So far, everything seemed good. With what Masahi was giving him, Roman figured he could work with. "Alright.. Alright. That seems like a good plan. How are we supposed to know who is apart of this organization though? It's not like they're all walking around with big targets on their backs that scream, 'I'M WITH CROSS'." Roman said, rubbing his chin in thought.

Standing alone was Masahi's choice for that matter, there's no risk out Roman being linked to the masked man if there's no evidance of him and Masahi interacting. Masahi was use to having no one, so there's no point in risking someone else's relations just for him to have a friend. Maybe it would be different if the other also had no one, or at least very few, but as things were, Masahi had too may enemies in too many places.

Masahi nodded at Roman's words, he wasn't wrong per se, but he could be more right. It would be pointless to bring up the plan if he didn't have at least one lead. There were two Masahi had, but they were iffy. "Well, I have two ideas, they might put 'targets' on the backs of some people, but we'll need to gather a bit of info that my web misses out on. As with any organization, they'll have a legal outlet somewhere. Outside of that, if they have any younger members, there's a chance they've ended up at the school for supers." As Masahi finished speaking, he glanced at Roman to see his reaction.

--Thetis--

Humming as she used water tentacles to seal the holes in the boys shoulders, she began to send the healing waters through the tentacles. The boy was blissfully asleep, a byproduct of him being human, and exposed to her aura for too long. Normally she could have seduced the boy to his death as her sisters have done, but the boy had a lover, and she did not want this boys family to suffer the same pain she suffered so long ago. So she let the boy sleep as she finished healing the boy, and redressed. Luckily no one was in the room to see how, she infact had healed the boy, in this day and age it would be most frowned on. But the boy was in too serious condition for normal healing. She had lain with the boy, and surrounded him in a water bubble, that drew out the toxins and pain. Now that he was out of the woods, she wanted to leave early. She knew the girl would return, so she left the lights on low and locked the main door. Walking past girls gossiping and guys relaxing, she enjoyed the bittersweet flavor of youth on the air...

--Misafune--

"Mommy? I really want to play with my friends. Please don't send me to gramps temple." a young voice echoed. The world was so sad and vivid. The car ride out of the neighborhood, where workers were rebuilding the playground. He of course did not know what happened, but he will never forget the slackjawed faces of his friends petrified in place, unmoving. He had crawled to under the slide and hid scared of what he could not understand and he started to cry. Later, there were police sirens, and a gruff pair of hands had pulled him from his hiding place. "WE HAVE A LIVE ONE!" The policeman shouted to the emergency workers on the scene. Soon at the hospital, his parents furiously rushed into the room, where their son was. He could not puzzle out their feelings towards him as they bundled him up and rushed home. An hour of arguing later, Misafune was on the road, away from his friends who remained frozen in place. Another hour later, up the wooded driveway to the entrance of the temple the car stopped. Dad had tossed everything his son packed into the dusty path of the temple. Grandfather was waiting with that patient smile he always wore, as his son was abandoning their only child to his care for the remainder of his life. Not a word was spoken to the boy, as the car kicked up dust in its haste...

Misafune woke with a start. He felt clean and dry, and his clothes were folded neatly in a nearby chair. The lights were low and he was still reeling from the bad dream and memory. He couldn't move much, so redressing was out of the question. He reached into his bag and pulled out a book and read it patiently awaiting his love's return.

He grinned back at her when she called him awesome, shrugging when Asako talked about people taking her a seriously "That's what I'd say too, I mean, I take both of you pretty seriously, I think maybe she imagines it a little bit. Though maybe fluffy bear ears dont really help..." He said with a nod "As for you being serious? I think I'm pretty okay at telling...I think" he said laughing a little after.

Ilaani looked back at him as he explained why he would think that way. "Well, atleast you have a bunch of friends now right?" She went through the door first with a nod of thanks. She then looked back at him, her head slightly tilted "I guess I get it. The difficulty with friends bit anyways. Do you know how long there was a rumour among the kids around where I stayed about a red eyed, pale skinned "demon" kid wandering the streets? A lot." She said, letting a laugh "...I can't deny I spooked some of them on purpose for laughs though...you know, only ones that deserved it of course." She said as she looked off to the side with a mischievous grin. "In hindsight that didn't help my case but, oh well" she smiled and shrugged her shoulders. She turned her attention to finding a good place for them to sit.
Asako nodded. She never really had a reason to have to be serious around Kenai, well, serious in a way that involved something important. Thinking back, the bear ears probably might be a small reason his sister doesn't feel she's taken seriously, the ears were really cute in her opinion. Her eyes immediately widened as she thought of something. "Wait! if she has bear ears.... does that mean you have wolf ears?" She asked, tilting her head.

Allen nodded, he did have a good amount of friends now, much more than he used to, that's for sure. He followed her inside and listened to her story. He laughed, "Jeez, if we had grown up in the same area our lives might have been much easier growing up." He said. "I would have done the same thing if I could, but my dad would have scolded me on how I'd made the family look bad by acting up in such a way and so on. Though, just me looking at them was enough to scare some of them." He said. He placed a hand over his eye, "I don't blame them though, my eye would be pretty creepy to children. I just think they could have handled it better at least, considering I couldn't hide it at the time so it wasn't necessarily my fault." He brought his hand down and looked around for an empty table. He pointed to an empty booth in the corner of the cafe, "We can sit there, nobody seems to have taken it."

Zero tilted his head when he said his name, only now realizing that his sudden change in form probably threw him off. He felt like an idiot for not realizing that this wasn't the form he had met Ryft in, but changing now might throw him off, and he didn't look so well, so he didn't want to confuse him. His brows furrowed when he mentioned some kids ganging up on him. Ryft was a nice guy, why would they mess with him? Or even beat him up like they had done? Really, school had barely started and it seemed like some bully's had already chosen their target. He'd have to be sure to keep an eye out, if he caught anyone messing with Ryft, he'd be sure to put a stop to it. Even if he had only met Ryft once, he was clearly a nice guy. He looked him over when he said he was fine, he clearly wasn't, and the bruise forming on his face proved so. He decided not to question him further on it. He grinned, "Of course I remembered! You remembered mine too, awesome!" He said. Was it strange Zero had remembered his name? He thought it was pretty normal to remember someone's name, especially when they had told you themselves. He took a second to look over his injuries and glanced back at the school. "Hey.... We should get you to the nurse's office, make sure nothings broken at least and get you cleaned up a bit" He offered a warmer smile, legitimately worried about whether or not he was alright.

Rosalie blinked a few times after he explained how his job would work. "A war? Seriously? Where you live must be pretty dangerous. I hope you won't have to do that on your behalf...you know...unless you like violence?" She furrowed her brows at the thought "But you don't seem like someone who would..." She added after. She held up her notebook after this, smiling a little before she gave an answer "As for my book? It's a little mix of everything. Honestly if you looked inside nothing on the pages would make much sense" she let a soundless laugh as the voice continued to speak "When my abilities get faint and I can no longer use them for speech or if I'm near normal humans that don't know sign language, this book becomes my voice. So this book is mostly filled with the answers I give when people speak with me" she lowered the book after this, hugging it close to herself again. It wasn't that she was trying to hide the book or anything, it was just a thing she did to keep her hands busy. They were now nearing the reception desk where he would have to sign up and get his dorm key.

Han could see the pain in his sister's eyes as the tears rolled down her cheeks. All the years of pent up emotions... Why? Because Han high tailed it out of there as if they didn't exist. As if they wouldn't need him in the long run. Because he had given up hope in himself as both a son, and big brother when his mother died. If he couldn't save her, he wasn't going to be able to save them. His young mind was wrong about that. There were obviously so many situations the he could have helped his sisters get out of from the sound of things. But he wasn't there. He was scared. Scared to face them and his father because he witnessed the death of his mother firsthand. Han was there and it left a mental scar on him. Taking his free hand, he raised a finger to the lips of Kanon to get rid of the blood and heal the wound she had got from biting down on it. Looking down to the ground he sighed, "I can't tell you how many times I'm sorry because in the end, I can never make up for what I did. I was scared, but not anymore. I learned that hiding from my fear only made your lives harder and took away your life. As you said before... I don't know anything. And that was my mistake... But mistakes are made to teach people, and I've learned from mine. I want you to take all of your worries other than school and your sister, and let them fall onto my shoulders. Let me bear the burden I've placed on you as I'm the rightful owner of it. Not you. Can you do that for me, Kanon?" He asked her, his eyes now focused on her once again. "Please."
Kanon

The raven-haired girl internally cursed herself for acting this way. Blubbering and crying definitely wasn't her style, especially in front of her brother. She was so used to staying strong for Yumi that crying felt foreign and weird, but in this moment it felt necessary and definitely needed. There had been an invisible wall that had been put up, keeping them at a distance. Feelings of things that couldn't be changed that grew into a strained relationship between Kanon and Han. But Kanon was only 15. She was young, and human, and someone who definitely needed her older brother, even if he said he didn't. As Han gave his response, the girl finally lost it, leaning forward and clutching on to his torso as she sobbed a torrent of tears that was long overdue. His words were ones that she had wanted to hear for the longest time, yet she was never able to. So to hear him say it now was like a giant relief, helping fix some part of her that she didn't know was broken. She wailed into his shirt, letting herself feel all the vulnerable emotions she had blocked for years. This is what Kanon had needed, and she finally got it. Hopefully she'd be able to finally forgive him after this.

Ryft-MK80

It was strange, this situation. Ryft couldn't help but find himself just staring at Zero. Someone who actually bothered to remember who he was, and someone that was legitimately showing concern? Definitely strange, in Ryft's mind. Initially, Ryft had been programmed to be pretty loud and energetic, like a normal teenage boy would be. But as time went on, it became apparent that without a Wielder, or someone to use Ryft as a weapon, his mood would change. He'd become sullen, almost depressed, losing interest in himself, others, or anything really. Recently, Ryft had been living life like that - detached, unimportant, fading into the background and out of existence, almost. Yet here was Zero, wanting to take him to the nurse's office. The gesture took him a bit by surprise, and he was a little lost for words as to how to respond. He breathed in, noticing a pang of pain in his chest. He brought a hand up to meet it, checking his diagnostics. Yeah, that was a cracked rib. Looking back at Zero, he figured it'd be best to give a response, not wanting to just be staring at him. "I-I'm fine. I don't want to trouble you or burden you with my problems." He finally answered, not having moved his hand from his chest. He was in pain for sure, and in need of some medical attention, but like he said, he didn't want to impose on Zero yet again to help him out. He was a nice kid, and he didn't want to make him think he was capitalizing on his kindness. "You were nice and helped me out when I really needed it, of course I'd remember someone who did that for me..." he added, quieter than before, almost shyly.

Levi was about to tell her not to worry, shaking his head first but Seiko had already upped and gone to pay, the poor girl really was too kind for her own good in his opinion. He simply shook his head and chuckled when she dropped her coins and bumped her head. By the time she had finished paying Levi stood not far behind her, his arms crossed as he wore a lopsided grin. "Thanks. Though you didn't have to, I was going to pay for that second one myself..." He said as he moved one hand up to rub the side of his face, his grin fading into a more gentle smile.

"They accepted me, except for the recruiter. He was... Very jealous. Shall we continue?" She said as she looked over to Elliot.
Elliot watched on as she spoke, his eyes immediately settling on following the recruiter. He only turned his head to look at her when she asked about continuing "Oh, uh. Yeah" he said with a nod, not minding if they stayed or not, it was her memories after all, she was the one in charge here. "Why was he so jealous" he asked after a moment or two of silence, sounding genuinely curious.

Rini had flashed the small girl a smile as she excitedly began to tidy away her toys watching her for a moment before going back to what she was doing. She was thankful that Chiharu wasn't that fussy of a child, not all of her behavior was good, the mess being an example but most of those things were done by here purely out of innocence and not knowing any better, she was only 5 years old after all.

By the time Chiharu had done what was asked of her and tidied everything up. Rini was already well over half way through preparing the meal of vegetable curry that she had decided to prepare for Misafune. Looking away from her task she watched Chiharu bounce up next to her and exclaim that she was finished with her chores. "Oh, really?" She asked as she looked over to the living room. Well it was certainly cleaner, not pristine but it wasn't like she was expecting that from a 5 year old she only wished for her to clean her toys up. She looked to Chiharu smiling brightly "Well done!~" she answered, sounding proud of the girl as she clapped her hands together. She looked over Chiharu, noticing the cereal still on her face and hair she giggled a little, kneeling down to Chiharu's level. Luckily cereal was a dry food so it was only a matter of wiping it off, which using her sleeve she proceeded to do. "There! now we look a bit tidier too~" she said, tilting her head and smiling.

She let Chiharu help out with packing away the food neatly into containers once it was finished, wanting her to feel like she helped prepare the meal also and so she wouldn't get bored. Rini had quietly hoped Chiharu wouldn't mess her clothes doing so as that would be yet again another change of clothes. She was only beginning to realize how much/often kids mess themselves, though thinking back on her own childhood she was just the same. Luckily that didn't happen meaning they could immediately set off to see Misafune after packing the food, which Chiharu was practically bouncing about, after all she did sing about seeing her Papa for almost the whole entirety of her time cleaning earlier. Finally leaving the dorms and arriving at the infirmary, she remembered the woman telling her she'd leave the side door open for her which she used, leading Chiharu by the hand down the corners until they had both reached Misafune's room. Stopping at the doorway she knocked her hand against the doorway a few times before entering the room "I brought the food" Rini spoke with a smile, holding up a nicely packed box that had been placed in a bag. "And someone who is very excited to see you too!" She added with a giggle as she let go of Chiharu's hand, as no doubt she was probably going to dash in his direction. "How are you feeling?" She asked, knowing that They had probably healed him up to a certain extent.

She had continued to look away after her answer, not knowing what his reaction would be or if he would even believe her, she was contemplating apologising for her ridiculous behavior and walking off but that thought was quickly thrown away when she felt both her hands being grabbed and squeezed ever so slightly but it was certainly enough to get her gaze to snap back in Kansuke's direction, first at his hands which were still holding hers then staring directly at his face with widened eyes as he spoke, telling her that what she said was okay and that he infact, was getting an odd feeling from being in her presence in a similar way she was with him. She had simply nodded at this, glad that was the case, though it seemed he just had the feelings of familiarity but no memories to accompany them like she had. It was the rest of his speech that had really caught her attention however talking about how he wished to protect her and offering her a smile so familiar that it felt surreal, she had seen it so many times before, even if the memories were still vague in parts. His words were oddly comforting to her, the metaphorical weight lifted off her shoulders making her look and feel more relaxed to the point were her eyes had softened too. She watched him suddenly pull his hands away and nervously apologise for his words. Blinking a few times she shook her head and smiled warmly "It's quite alright" she responded, fixing her hair behind her pointed ear "I appreciate your words, Kansuke" she added after, she stopped mid movement, lowering her arm again "Though. I'm afraid, where I will need to go, is back home and I do need you to come with me if I do, so my visions tell me" she said as she clasped her hands infront of her gently "I'm not sure how much more I can tell you just yet as I cannot choose what I see...but from what I have seen I fear for our home, something terrible is about to happen I think what I've seen is trying to tell us both that..." She explained, her gaze beginning to drift off again, only occasionally looking back to check on his reaction. Hesitantly biting her lip she spoke again "I-I do not wish to overwhelm you, I'm sorry" she added, she felt that maybe (oh most definitely in her opinion) she had done so with all this but how else was she supposed to ask for his assistance on this?

Kenai had paused in movement when she asked about his ears. He normally hid them from people in public he slowly spoke "Well...yeah. A tail too. I just uh...hide them." He admitted, smiling sheepishly as he smoothed his hair where they should be with his hand. He now looked straight at Asako, she was his best friend so he guessed he was fine about her seeing them, they weren't all that embarrassing or anything he just found it easier to hide them over the years. That and he was sure she'd find a way to force him to if she were really wanted to see, this was Asako after all. Clearing his throat a little, a pair of Canine ears popped up from his head almost immediately. "See?" He said as one twitched ever so slightly.

Ilaani frowned a little when he covered his eye up at first, stopping when he had removed his hand from his face. She hummed in agreement as they approached the seat he had picked out, thinking over his words and how different things could have been for the both of them if they had just met each other a little younger rather than in highschool. She smiled to herself at the thought honestly but caught herself realising she hadn't responded really. "I guess they would have been, would have been pretty cool, maybe I wouldn't have done so much dumb stuff then" she answered with a shrug and a bit of a laugh. "Well, I dunno, maybe so, I don't think kid me would have had a problem with your eye at all, I don't now and I don't think I would have then. Your parents probably wanted you to make friends too, scaring them wouldn't really help that. I had no one to reason with me about that kind of thing so yeah." She let another laugh "Stupid me I guess? I've learned since then. Obviously." She said now sitting down at her seat, leaning back a bit.

At first, Levi raised a brow at her behavior, watching as she pulled her hood up over to cover her reddening cheeks, he didn't move, he didn't really get the whole personal space thing sometimes. If he had known it was just his proximity to her causing her cheeks to glow he probably would have been grinning out of amusement but this time he assumed she was just being embarrassed by her clumsiness like previously, so although finding it rather cute he didn't give too much of a reaction. After she asked what they should do now, he was caught a little bit by surprise, this showing as his eyes widened ever so slightly, making the light hit them in such a way that they shone weirdly like they had earlier. He was expecting her to just want to go home after getting their coffee "You... want to go somewhere else?" He asked, not sounding as surprised as he looked but still a bit surprised "Sure. Cool." He paused in thought seeming a lot more comfortable with the notion of hanging out more already, not that he wasn't before, he just hadn't realised that Seiko still wanted to hang out in the first place until she had asked about it. "What do you like to do normally? I'm sure I'll be able to find somewhere to go involving it, I know the streets around here quite well now after living here for a year already." He offered.

This time she was blushing as she began to find him attractive also occasionally shaking her head to stop her desire to keep close to home as they had just met. "I like to perform Divination." She said, "D-Does that count?" She said nervously hoping she didn't make a fool of herself. Her nervousness caused her to fidget which caused her to drop her staff and when she leaned to grab it, she tripped over a table leg falling face first onto her staff hitting her onto the head. "S-Sorry, I am just clumsy." She said.

Elliot watched on as she spoke, his eyes immediately settling on following the recruiter. He only turned his head to look at her when she asked about continuing "Oh, uh. "It's a really big f you if you were to refuse someone who is actually, stronger than you. Perhaps, bested you." She said as another door appeared. She stepped towards it before putting her hand on the door. It seemed normal, she was just waiting for Elliot.

--Misafune--

He heard the door open and put on a smile to banish the memory/dream he was having. At some point he would have to confront his parents about why did they just abandon him with his master. it was a sore spot on his heart, but the smell of good food and the sudden influx of useful energy from an adorable five year old soften him a little. He made a goal as absurd as it was in his head, to be a Planeswalker. Of all the things that existed, they would probably too. But before then, he blushed at the next thought of putting a ring on Rini's finger.

"Now if it isn't my two favorite people, with delicious smelling food." he said smiling to the girls. Yeah, I wanna be a planeswalker, to find Rini and Chiharu a safe place from all the ills of the world. He thought to himself. Most likely he would not find such a paradise, but instead, trouble. A whole mess of it. He did not vocalize his goal, but instead opted to make nice memories with his two ladies. "Did things go well?" he asked as the bouncing Chi-chan was just vibrating with energy.

Just as Levi was about to respond to her answer Seiko had once again tripped and fallen, this time onto her staff. He jumped forward a little but didn't make it in time to stop the girls fall. He shook his head at her apology and chuckled "It's fine. Seriously, why are you apologising to me, for? There's nothing to apologise for. I don't get it." he said, offering a hand to help her up if she needed it. Which was true, he didn't care if she was clumsy, it wasn't making him angry or anything nor did he see how it would so to him the apology wasn't really needed "So... Divination?" He asked after, referring to her previous answer. "That's like...telling the future right? But doing it properly and not the fake way carnival ladies with the weird faces do, right?" He asked, his voice sounding slightly unsure at the end of his sentence feeling maybe that was wrong, he assumed she'd correct him anyways, no big deal.

Zero still couldn't see why anyone would harm Ryft, people really could be huge jerks. Maybe it was the fact Ryft was so nice that bothered the jerks? That was a completely dumb reason, not that anything could justify ganging up on someone. He waited patiently for his response, not in any hurry to be going anywhere. It wasn't like he had anywhere to be, and even if he did he wouldn't care if he was late or not. He tilted his head a bit upon hearing his response. Trouble? Burden? Ryft really was a nice guy. He took a glance at his hand when he brought it up to his chest, the action not going unnoticed by him. Really, being troubled or burdened was the least of his concerns. Zero smiled again after he finished speaking, "I'm more than happy to help out, so you don't have to worry about being a burden or troubling me." He said, scratching his cheek a bit. "I mean, if you need help, I can always be someone you can ask, no matter what, y'know?" He added. "I don't mean that in a creepy way or anything, I'm not saying you absolutely have to ask me for help, I'm just always an option if you need someone." He finished, once again taking a look at his hand. "Does your chest hurt?"
