Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

(Best I can do for now, if you need me to edit it I will)
Sakura huffed, she was aware of how tasty they were, that's why she kept buying them in the first place. "I know that they're good! jeez, that wasn't the point of what I was saying." She said. She crossed her arm's, her brows furrowing a bit at his question, "No?....Why? Did you do something else I should know about?" She quickly glanced around the room to see if he had broken anything. Everything seemed to be fine, though his serious look was a bit strange, but Ikuto was just a strange guy to begin with. Not that it was a bad thing, it made her life less boring.
Ikuto didn't detect anything so he figured it was fine. He then gently shook his head, looking rather upset as he rolled back under his covers on the couch to hide. "It's nothing." He said, lightly blushing even though he was upset. Why was he so upset? Wasn't he used to this feeling by now? Of being rejected? He knew he shouldn't feel this way but he did. His heart ached lightly, but he was doing everything he could to hide it. He was probably secretly hoping she was going to bug him.

Kenai laughed lightly as he was now glancing over the menu to see what he would want to eat, after all it was one of the reasons the two were there in the first place "I mean, it's not impossible..." He said with a shrug "But yeah. You're really short soo" he chuckled lightly.

After classes, Ilaani had only went back to her dorm to get a shower and change out of her uniform into her own clothes before leaving again. She and Allen had agreed to meet up after class to grab a coffee and hang out, since even though they were in a lot of the same classes this year she still wanted to actually hang out outside of the school setting. She waited at the gates of the school for Allen to arrive like they had talked about, casually glancing to her phone for the time once or twice.
Asako already knew what she wanted, so she didn't bother looking at the menu. She tilted her head when he mentioned it not being impossible. She figured it'd only be possible if she had met someone as childish as she was, since she might become a bother to any other normal person. She blinked at his second comment, taking a second to process it. "Wha?! Hey! You could have just said small! Jeez, so mean."

----------------------------

Allen had gone home to grab his wallet. He figured Ilaani would probably try to refuse his offer for him to pay for them both, but he'd figure out a way to get her to just accept it. He felt responsible for their lack of communication, he could have at least texted her. Wait, did he ever ask for her number? He pulled out his phone and began looking through his contacts as he approached the gate, though once he saw her he quickly put away his phone. "Ilaani, Hey!" He spoke to catch her attention. "Sorry if I made you wait, I went home to grab something." He said and smiled.

His heart ached lightly, but he was doing everything he could to hide it. He was probably secretly hoping she was going to bug him.
Sakura's brows furrowed more, whenever someone said 'It's nothing' it's usually something. She also couldn't brush off the upset expression he had before going under the covers. She sat down in front of the couch and lifted the blanket so she could see him. She wasn't entirely sure how to approach this, since she had never really seen him upset, but she figured she shouldn't be too pushy about it. "Ikuto..... What's wrong?" She asked, holding the blanket tight enough so he couldn't yank it back over him to hide.

As Elliot spoke of breaking character, a door opened and Seria looked at it and shrugged. "I guess you won't have to worry after all." She said before walking towards the door and exiting the fragment.
Elliot stared at the door as it opened "Huh. I guess not..." He answered as he left down the bandages he was holding. He immediately followed Seria to the door and went through it with her.

She grabbed his hand and took him inside. "S-Sorry I'm late." She said taking him into the class with him regardless of the time left at school. "Thanks to him, I found my way here." She said pulling him inside. To her dismay, class ended and everyone was already leaving. "W-What should I do Levi?" She asked looking up at him looking sad.
Levi's eyes widened as he was suddenly yanked towards the classroom, almost stumbling a little from being pulled he immediately righted himself just at the doorway before Seiko had pulled him again bringing him straight into the classroom "Uh...." He looked at the teacher as Seiko credited him for helping her, smiling sheepishly as he was given a look that said "Why weren't you in class to begin with" from the teacher. That was not the only look he was getting however, as two girls in the class were both looking over in his direction. One girl with long blonde hair reaching her waist smiled and waved at him while the other dark haired girl gave him an unamused stare before looking away. After everyone began leaving the dark haired girl once again stated at Levi as she passed him in the doorway "If dad finds out you're skipping class he'll be furious" she said in a soft spoken but grumpy tone before walking off. "Guess this was my sister's class too" he said with a slight laugh before looking down at Seiko who seemed upset, he didn't quite understand why but tried to formulate an answer anyways. "Uh....Try again tomorrow? Atleast you know where this class is now" he said with a smile "Go relax or do something fun, schools over for today" he added after.

This time, instead of being left at the infirmary all day, Rini had left Chiharu in her dormitory. Thankfully she had bought a bunch of things that would interest a 5-year-old girl to keep her occupied while Rini was at school -- coloring books, toys, kids videos, the works. Even still, leaving a 5-year-old alone for a whole day was bound to end with some... interesting disasters. Chiharu had found an empty wall and decided that it was the best place to draw a picture of her "family", with herself and Misafune and Rini. Having gotten hungry, Chiharu tore through the cupboards, taking out and not returning the food to its place while looking for something sweet. Eventually, she settled on cereal. Not knowing how to actually pour the cereal into a bowl, she just dug from the box, getting it all over the kitchen and the couch, where she spent the most time eating it.. The toys were completely strewn everywhere around the living room, and juice had somehow been spilled in every room in the house, even the bathroom. When Rini came inside, the young girl was watching one of the videos, something about a band of animals going on an adventure or something. Hearing the door open and Rini announcing that she was home, Chiharu sprung up from her place on the couch and ran over to greet her, wrapping her small arms around Rini's legs. "Mama!" she exclaimed, grinning widely. She was a mess, with dried food and drink all over her face and dress, but she was happy that she wasn't alone anymore.
Rini smiled as the small girl dashed over and hugged her legs, she was relieved Chiharu had stayed put this time, she guessed buying that kid stuff payed off after all. "Hey there!" She answered as she patted the girls head. It was only now that Rini was looking around her home and taking in what a mess it was. Food and toys strewn absolutely. everywhere. Her expression had dropped completely at seeing her home and Chiharu too, who was also covered in food. "Oh gosh..." She mumbled to herself. She didn't yell at Chiharu or act annoyed about the mess however, she didn't think she could even bring herself to do that if she were honest. She don't smiled gently as she looked back down at the girl "It seems you had quite an eventful day here today hadn't you." She spoked as she had managed to move Chiharu from her legs an knelled down to her level "But messes like this don't really look nice and can't be left behind when we do have days like that, especially if we are going to be cooking dinner, we can't do that in a mess can we?" She said tilting her head "Let's say we get this and you cleaned up so we can make some food and go see Misafune" she wasn't sure if that was the right way to handle the situation, after all she didn't exactly have experience and she honestly should have expected it with Chiharu being alone all day.

Kenai blinked at her answer "...Aren't they the same thing?" He asked, confused by the fact one would annoy her but the other wouldn't...was it a girl thing he didn't get it something? Thinking about it he wondered if his question would make it worse... "I mean I'm sorry if I annoyed you either way" he added as he left down the menu he was looking over.

Hearing Allen call her, Ilaani looked up from her phone screen and looked in his direction, pocketing it when he had come closer "Hey!" She called back and smiled "It's fine, I haven't been waiting all that long" she assured him, shaking her head as she spoke. Looking around for a moment, she tucked her hands into her jacket pockets "Anyways, Ready to go?" She asked as she looked over at him.

"Hmmm.... Well, let me put it this way. Let's say you were a pretty heavy person, would you prefer being called fat, or big?" She said, tilting her head a bit. She grinned, "I'll forgive you this once!.... That is, if you buy me icecream~" She said with a small smirk. "I'm not annoyed, Hakuru makes short jokes all the time, though that might be because I mess with her about her love for cats. I mean, she nearly got hit by a car because she got distracted by one while we were crossing the street! There's no way I'm not going to mess with her!"

------------------------------

Allen was happy to hear he hadn't made her wait too long. He could tell by the change of clothes she had gone home as well. "Yes, let's go. Also, I hope you don't mind, but I'll pay for both of us" He said and smiled. He began walking, matching his pace with Ilaani's so that he didn't end up leaving her behind. Honestly, even if she refused, he'd find a way to get around it, this was something he wanted to do, kind of like an apology.

Kenai raised his brow and leaned back bit on his chair "What?" He laughed "That is 200% taking advantage of the situation, I used the wrong word!" He said shaking his head before laughing a little "Fine, I'll get you ice cream this time. But only because your point kind of did make sense and I am sorry" he admitted after. It was then when someone arrived to get their orders for them.

Ilaani had began walking alongside him, looking straight ahead until he announced that he'd be paying. Her head immediately whipped around to look at him "Eh? No way, I can get my own coffee, you don't need to do that" she immediately protested, which was to be expected from her, it wasn't the first time she had protested about something like that.

Asako held up her arms in an X like fashion, "No excuses!" When he agreed to get her the ice cream she immediately grinned, "Yay!~ You're the best!" She exclaimed happily. She may or may not have pretended to be upset just so she'd get him to. When the waiter approached she glanced at them, "I'll have grilled cheese please~ Oh! And chocolate icecream!" She had already almost forgotten about the ice cream, even though they were literally just talking about it, but she was just really hungry and the sound of a grilled cheese was enough of a distraction.

-----------------

Allen smiled, he knew she was going to say something like that, she did it every time he offered. "Aw come on, really, I insist. It's been so long since I was able to buy you something, you can at least let me pay, just this once?" He asked, looking down at her. He liked that she was more than willing to pay for her own stuff, while he was sure many other people would have happily accepted the offer. It was just another thing about her that he admired, she wasn't selfish like many other people.

Perfect grit his teeth, balling his hands into fists as he stared up at Akira. Having to look up at him from the ground was something he'd rather not do, and instead be dead. Being in such a position showed weakness, and almost seemed as if he were being shown mercy seeing as he wasn't dead. As he listened to Akira speak, he shook his head. Such a stupid thing to do... Very. Killing him before he released these people would only kill them too. Perfect sighed and chuckled a bit, spitting up some of his blood before going quiet. He only looked at Akira. Shaking his head, he soon began to speak.

"Beating me until I free the people isn't a smart thing to do, in fact... It's barbaric. You're better than that. You're a king. Act like one and consider the best choice. Before I do die, I want to say my farewell to my friend on this planet."

Perfect started to cough up more blood, his wounds healing very slowly, only due to him having such a low amount of power right now. Akane was almost free so he wasn't getting much from her and the others inside of him right now. After his series of coughs, he started speaking once again, his tail slowly extending out from his back.

"Stand back boy. I'm gonna be freeing my captives now."

Perfect's tail opened up at the end and he released Akane, Astrid. and another person. Skylar. The less powerful beings simply appeared where they last were captured at and Perfect reverted back to his human shell.

"They're all back... But looks like Akane wants a few words with me."

Perfect wasn't wrong, and he soon found himself held up in the air by his collar to his jacket. He couldn't do anything but laugh at the sight, knowing either Akira or Akane might be ending his life right here.He could see the anger in her eyes. She must've knew what he did to her grandson. Perfect could feel the blood from her hands seeping through his jacket.

"Tight grip..."

"Just like the one you have on your life right now... But tighter."

"You aren't wrong."

Akane looked at Akira and back at Perfect. She wanted to punish him for what he did to her family and herself, along with the friends of those she cared for. Taking another look at Akira, she spoke.

"I heard what you planned to do before I was set free. If it isn't too much to ask... Please allow me to be the one to finish him off. You shouldn't have to waste your time with such scum, besides, this is my mess."

"I'm assuming a high powered ki blast through the chest like I did your grandson over there."

"Worse."

...♅Akira extended his palm out towards Perfect as his former mentor replied to him, a build up of ki soon forming just infront of his palm and had started swelling with each moment, growing large. He then, to his surprise, heard Perfect announce that he was going to release all those he'd taken. Lowering his hand, the ki blast dissipated, and Akira waited. Soon enough, Akane, Astrid and Skylar was free from Perfect's grasp, with the later laying on the ground, unconscious. He then watched as Akane picked up Perfect by the neck and exchanged words with him. It was then that Akane spoke to him. Akira understood the desire for revenge, and to avenge those she'd lost, and with that in mind, along with the relief that he himself wouldn't have to kill his former master, he accepted to Akane's request♅...

Sure, he's all yours. I have some place to be anyway.

...♅With that being said, a white aura appeared around Akira as he shot off into the air, leaving Perfect at the mercy of Akane, and his destination being the school. He had to finish up the school day, which had been an eventful one if he said so himself♅...

They were back in the dark room again. There were only a few doors left, one of them unchained. Of course, the most obvious thing would to walk towards it and open it. Though, Elesis walked over to the door and stopped there, waiting for Elliot. It's as if she knew something was coming. She knew that whatever behind this door was something bad and traumatizing. Or maybe it's just the mixed emotions she's starting to feel now. Who knows. She just stood there, waiting for Elliot.

She was obviously clueless looking around. "I wasn't given a map so I wandered the hallways all day long." She replied to the teacher obviously new. She didn't seem to understand what he two girls were saying. "Oh so your sister is a mage?!" She said amazed and held her staff on her right hand. "W-Well, I guess I could. Say, how about I treat you some food for helping me?" She asked tugging on his sleeve. She smiled and waved off his sister before tugging at his sleeve again. "I saw this really cool Cafe on the way to school, maybe we can go there." She said

Ikuto just looked away and sighed. He couldn't lie to her now. She knew what he was doing is what he guessed. "I... I don't want to talk about it but it's probably no use anyways. You'll probably get it out of me." He said before he scooted a bit and put a hand on her cheek. "Sakura... I..." He murmured before trying to not look her in the face. "I don't want you to leave my side." He said, secretly embarrassed by what he said. He'd never asked anybody to stay with him. It was always the other way around so this was kind of a first for him. He slowly retracted his hand afterwards.

Kenai smiled and rolled his eyes when she ordered the ice cream before going ahead and ordering himself a sandwich. Seeing her actions, he was about 60% sure that her being upset was just a rouse to get ice cream from him, it definitely was something he could imagine her doing. Although she wouldn't have had to do it honestly, If she would have just asked straight out he would have gotten her some too, she was pretty persuasive, at least with him anyways. After the waiter left to get their orders ready he looked back to Asako with his head slightly tilted "You know, I still would have gotten you ice cream if you just y'know. Asked me."

----------

Ilaani stared up at him as he was speaking, puffing her cheeks like she was going to continue protest the matter, she had always had a problem with people paying for her and through previous discussions between the two she knew he was aware of that, but as he continued to speak she had decided to let it go just this one time "Fine." she answered before looking away again, she guessed he must have felt guilty about them loosing contact or something, even though it was probably equally her fault too. She didn't want him being overly generous to her because of guilt or something silly like that "But only this once..." she added after, because she was going to definitely protest if he was going to make a habit of it.

Or maybe it's just the mixed emotions she's starting to feel now. Who knows. She just stood there, waiting for Elliot.
Entering the same dark room a third time, Elliot had again looked around to see if there were any changes at all. His gaze settled on Seria who was once again hesitating at the new door like she had done with the first door they had opened, just standing at it. Noticing this he had walked up next to her "...Is everything okay?" he asked as he looked at her "We can wait a minute before going through this one if you want..." he offered, thinking maybe that might help.

Levi shrugged and smiled a little "Sort of? As I said they aren't fussy on what people refer to them as. My dad is a mage and my Mom is a witch so I guess they both could take whichever path of learning they prefer" he answered looking down at her as she tugged on his sleeve "You want me to come with you?" he asked, blinking a few times "I mean, I did't really expect a thank you like that from you but sure" he answered with a nod "Lead the way, Miss Seiko~" he said gesturing his hand towards the door with a grin.

Noticing this he had walked up next to her "...Is everything okay?" he asked as he looked at her "We can wait a minute before going through this one if you want..." he offered, thinking maybe that might help.
She looked at Elliot once more before sitting down next to the door, letting out an exhale. "Alright... I guess we can take a break for now."

Ikuto just looked away and sighed. He couldn't lie to her now. She knew what he was doing is what he guessed. "I... I don't want to talk about it but it's probably no use anyways. He slowly retracted his hand afterwards.
Sakura's eyes widened when she felt his hand on her cheek, caught off guard by it. Was he messing with her again? Was he getting her back for getting onto him about the cookies? No, he looked too serious for that to be the case, he usually had a smirk when he was messing with her. Her heart started pounding, and her face immediately flushed. He doesn't want her to leave him? The way he asked tugged at her heart, it made him seem vulnerable for once, but she didn't consider it a bad thing. When he began retracting his hand, she took a hold of it with both of hers. She looked at his face one more time to make sure he was serious, she didn't want to admit how she felt and he ended up making fun of her for it. "I won't." She had finally mustered up the courage to respond, even if it was only two words.

She looked at Elliot once more before sitting down next to the door, letting out an exhale. "Alright... I guess we can take a break for now."
Elliot nodded, he guessed after the last memory it would be a bit too much to go into the next without processing the last first. He seated himself on the ground next to Seria "So...Is everything okay?" He asked softly looking at her for a moment before looking straight infront of him at the dark wall. "I mean, that last memory was quite graphic and stuff..." He said before pausing "O-Or well, you don't have to answer if you just want to sit here for a bit" he said awkwardly.

Levi shrugged and smiled a little "Sort of? As I said they aren't fussy on what people refer to them as. "Well, it's the least I can do as a thank you." She said walking around the hallway looking for the exit clearly lost again. "Alright Miss Kurishita tell me the way to the exit." She said and it began pointing to a direction which she followed with an unhealthy amount of trust. After 10 minutes, they emerged at the exit. "Thank you!" She smiled and placed it in her sack. She then led him to a cafe and ordered green tea. "What would you like?" She asked

Ikuto blushed deeply before tugging her under the covers and throwing the blanket over the two of them, holding her close so her face was close to his. His breath was soft and warm as he asked gently, as if pleading her... "Are you sure...? Because if you say yes... I'm never letting you go." He whispered. He'd never been more serious in his life. Every word he muttered was the honest truth right now. His heart was beating rapidly, he couldn't take anymore rejection in his life. Sakura was all he wanted right now.

Asako watched the waiter walk off with their order and took a look out the window. She enjoyed the minute or so of comfortable silence until it seemed like Kenai had caught on to what she did. She smiled, pretending to be innocent, "I don't know what you're talking about~" She said. She was aware he would have agreed to buy her ice cream, but just asking for it was boring. "I am totally offended by being called short, by my closest friend too!" She placed a hand over her heart and gripped her shirt, dramatically covering her eyes with her arm pretending to be hurt by his words. "Oh, the pain! It's too much for my fragile heart~"

Allen had quirked a brow when it seemed like she was going to protest more, but grinned when she gave in. "Right, just this once, I promise." He said and nodded. He knew she wouldn't let it slide another time, even though he'd be more than willing to spend a little money on her every now and then, but that was just a part of her he was familiar with. He really had nothing to spend his money on, so spending it on friends was nice, that way it wasn't just left there untouched. Maybe he could just buy her small gifts every once in a while, since she refused to let him pay for small things like coffee. He considered gifts a sign of friendship, and they were nice to have, that way you have something to remind you of that friend when you aren't face to face. Though, he wondered if she'd even let him, he could honestly already imagine what she'd say if he were to come up to her with one. "I hope you don't mind me asking, but why are you against having people spend money on you?"

Sakura had trouble thinking, considering the position they were in. This whole situation was a lot to take in. She'd never guess that Ikuto had liked her, she always thought he saw her as someone he could mess with when he was bored and take cookies from. She nodded, she was sure of her answer, even if she was having trouble thinking at the moment this was one thing she was sure of. "Y-Yeah, I'm sure."

Ikuto then closed the gap between them gently and planted his first real genuine kiss on her lips, snuggling into her as he did this, beginning to kiss her softly and gently. He had never met somebody so honest and nice to him. He was nervous for the first time ever... And it wasn't a bad nervous. It was a nervous he could cling onto forever. He was so grateful to Sakura right at this very moment, thankful she could make him feel like this. He could have honestly never asked for anything better as he kept her in his tight warm embrace.

"Looking at these memories again... Back then, thing weren't so pretty as it is now." She said as she looked at her hand. She began to wander what was the next door open to. "Besides, aren't we still sitting in a cafe...?"
