When she stepped through, Elyse ran headfirst, right into Kili. However, she found herself unable to touch him. No matter how close together they were, her fingers refused to touch his body. Kili smiled at her, and wrapped his arms around her. While he couldn't touch her either, he could be close to her without danger.
