Theodore is a quiet boy, very curious and easily intrigued by even the simplest of things. His curiosity often gets him in to sticky situations, his sense of fear damaged from trauma.


Habits:


Theodore, due to his curiosity, will often throw himself in to typically dangerous situations to satisfy his needs. As well as this, he has a fear of being touched and so will often shy away from others. When touched, he may cry or become dissociative.

Background:

Theodore grew up in a middle class home, with two loving parents-arguably too loving. His father abused him, mostly emotionally, though sometimes physically. He grew distant from the trauma and separated his personality from himself, becoming an empty boy. Even so, it hurt him when his parents became ill, and even more when they died. He didn't understand, really, what was going on. All he knew was that everybody was going through the same thing. Taken in by local foster care, he was looked after for no more than 3 weeks before the whole place shut down. He lives in the treehouse behind the run down foster home, decidedly safe with the ladder pulled up.

Strengths:

Theodore is intelligent and can think fast on his feet

Weaknesses:

However, despite his intelligence, he is often sidetracked by his short attention span.

Talents:

Theo has impeccable aim with his slingshot. His lack of fear makes him able to dance around dangerous situations.

Background: When Vic was born her mother died of cancer soon after. She never got to know the woman but saw how much of a toll it took on her father. He tried his best to raise her by himself, taught her everything he knew. Growing up as a country girl, she learned to use several different weapons, her favorite being the bow. Her father soon fell in love with another woman, and Vic couldn't help but feel like she was being replaced. She shied away from her father and his girlfriend from that point on. They got married when she was 13, a month before her birthday. Vic hated her fathers wife, hated her. It wasn't her mother after all. Then the epidemic started. Before she even knew what was going on, her stepmother and her father were trying to kill her. So, she ran.

Strengths: Ability to keep calm in stressful situations. Problem solving skills. Resourcefulness.

Weakness: Weak heart do to her mothers sickness when she was born, Asthma , Unable to kill a "zombie" without feeling grief.

Manu’s primary mode of living is focused externally, where she deals with things rationally and logically. Her secondary mode is internal, where she takes things in primarily via her intuition.


She is a natural born leader. Living in a world of possibilities where she sees all sorts challenges to be surmounted, and she wants to be the one responsible for surmounting them. She has a drive for leadership, which is well-served by her quickness to grasp complexities, her ability to absorb a large amount of impersonal information, and her quick and decisive judgments. Background:


Manu is from France, coming to London for a class trip the day everything went down. Before this, she lived in a simple cottage home with her parents and younger twin brothers. Her life was good before, her father worked with the armed forces being one of their highest ranked members, on his days off he would teach Manu some tricks, like how to take a man down in one move, or how to load a gun in under 10 seconds. Her mother was a housewife and she seemed to love every bit of being one as well. Her mother took pride in a clean home and at times clean children.


Back to her class trip. Manu was excited to see something other than her boring small town. When they were roaming around London Manu was separated from her group. She wasn’t listening to her teacher when she talked about what to do if you were to get separated. Manu wandered around confused on what she was supposed to do. When everything finally did go to hell Manu ran for cover.

Personality: Gus is loyal to his friends and allies, he is willing to go above and beyond for them. Due to his past, Gus is quick to action rather than talk, which is a blessing and a curse in certain situations. He has always been very mature for his age compared to his peers, but he is hard on himself and doesn't know how to accept appraisal. Gus is an intellectual of sorts, he loves to dwell on paradoxes and philosophy. He is kind to everyone and easy to get along with, but he will become a vein pulsating Drill Sergeant hopped on adrenaline if you cross him in the wrong way. His explosive temper aside, Gus especially has a soft spot for younger children and animals.

Habits: When not speaking he likes to have his mouth covered with a Shemagh (the scarf)

Background: American by birth, but moved to London a month before the outbreak because of his father's new assignment. His mother was a retired U.S. Marine, and his father a deployed special ops member. From birth his parents reinforced military values, they wanted him to be just like his father, and trained him the same, even though Gus didn't want to follow in his parents foot steps.

Strengths: Can adapt to any situation, live off the land, persuasive, athletic.

Weakness: Has a short temper, and is dyslexic.

Talents: Proficient in the art of combat, survival, Brazilian jujitsu black belt, and a great photographer.
