It had been a little difficult growing up a Lesbian for Amber, being the daughter of a Paster made things hard at home. Her parents were very religious, old testament kind of way so finding out their daughter was a sin, well it didn't go very well when she came out about it. When Amber was 15 she told her parents about who she liked and her parents were furious. Her father tried to 'save' her by trying to change her 'sinful' ways. Soon after though she moved out to live with Bill and hadn't spoked to them since. Bill was a close friend to the family but was more open to sexualities than her parents and gladly let Amber stay with him. It was just Bill and his 2 sons, they owned a range where Amber was tought to shoot and handle guns pretty well. Amber was living with her family friend when everything turned and the world started going down the drain. When Amber was on a camping trip the camp site had been attacked by zombies. Not many survive and Amber herself barely got out of there. When she was able to get back home to Bill and the boys they were no where to be found.

We all were similar and yet so different. Earth was always taking care of us and she never complained about anything. She always came up with ideas when faced with an obstacle. Thunder was quite emotional, but she was always the first to hit when we sparred. Fire often miscalculated things and ended up being scolded when he wanted to help. He was also the youngest of us. However, when we worked in teams he really held our team together. Valley always knew what action would lead us to achieving our goals. He was our oldest brother and, therefore our leader.


Mountain wasn't that good at things he had to think at but his strength was superior to ours. Wind was an amazing girl. She was so reliable and had so much stamina. Fighting her was always difficult because she did not let her opponents have time for making up plans. Once she started attacking you really felt like you can barely stand your ground against that hurricane. Heaven was the best thinker among us. She usually told each of us what to do as she knew us the most individually.


I got the name: Water. When I was younger, I did not feel like fitting into the family. I have never been the best at anything. I will always remember the conversation I had with our master one day. I could be around sixteen around that time, and we had a task meditate on what are the essentials of our styles. On the days of the deadline, Master sat down in the dojo and all the others showed their part. When it was my turn I stood there, before Master and my brothers and sisters and did nothing. Master knew me full well and asked if I succeeded with my task. I shook my head and then it was followed by awkward silence. After a few minutes he gave me this speech - and I will try to quote him precisely - :


- "Water may seem to never beat the other elements at their fundamentals. But neither it has to. Earth requires water to create something very unique. With the help of water, the energies of thunder can spread across the world. To hold back fire, one needs water. If the water flows in a valley, the river made by the fusion of two can achieve big things. The fast flowing water will create new paths and cut through obstacles. True as it may be that when alone, the mountain is the strongest. But I have never seen anything stronger than water falling below from the heights of a mountain. When on the seas, storms generated by the wind, can break any formidable opponent. If water is used by the guide of the heavenly wisdom, its use is as endless as the circling of the Yin and the Yang. Water can combine with anything and the more thing it is combined with the stronger it becomes. Ultimately if the eight of you fights as one, your strength will be like when the world comes to its end. Earth will shake, Thunder will shout out to everyone in the world, and Fires will be lit, Valleys will be made as the Earth tears apart, leading to the deepest of the underworld, Wind will blow as it has never before, tearing trees and buildings out and throwing them right back, Water will fall from above and floods will drift away everything in their paths. Mountains will erupt bringing rain of fire in the chaos. The wrath of the seven Heavens will shatter the remaining enemies, and no one will be able to survive."
