This actually would work well. We could have them go into a town, stay there for a night or two, scavenge some supplies, build some more trust (or distrust) between characters, then introduce those two and the group they belong to

It’s really funny that Jennifer is, because she was never that way before. I have a flashback I wrote in the old RP that will be relevant here I’m going to copy into a post. I mean, I guess you could argue she was somewhat an alpha in ways. But man, she’s changed.
Wait... I can just copy posts from the old RP and make them into flashbacks.

I can say for sure Jennifer doesn’t want to be leader. That was Holliday’s job, before he left us in the dust. She doesn’t want to be the leader. She, quite frankly, wants answers as to why Holliday left them. She probably doesn’t want to be with anybody in that group now, with Archie probably being the exception. Jake is too useless in her eyes. He’s just some scared kid. She feels like a babysitter around him. He’s a problem to her. Austin would be the one she’d want with her, but he be dead lol. She doesn’t like or trust Simon, specifically after charging her and causing this mess. She doesn’t know Milly or Jane enough to really say whether she’d want to be with them. Archie has a sense of humor and seems trustworthy to her, and capable of need be. Otherwise, as of right now, she doesn’t really like anyone she’s with *YET*.
But yeah, she doesn’t want to be the leader. She just knows she has to. No one else seems capable of it. No one else answered the leadership call. It also became part of who she is as the apocalypse went on

Jennifer is troubled in his eyes, definitely, he wants to reach out but at the same time he doesn't want to creep her out either. I guess he likes her on a level of "Ur a stronk independent woman and I appreciate that" Also thinks of her as pretty sweethearted too.
Simon reminds him of a hypermasculine lad-culture type - the kind that gets you in trouble and yer mam hates. A brotherly twat, in all aspects. Dislikes him and his behaviour since the apocalypse, he's been his only stable human contact.
Milly is smol bean, sister, adopted child person
Tbh, Jake and Jane he hasn't had enough contact with (In or out of character) to really judge. Austin seemed nice enough to him, and he ded.

Thing is about Archie, is he has a mindset that likes fixing or helping people. I guess he's projecting that on Jennifer.
