Realistic or Modern The Dead among us

Charlie pointed his glock at the man who didnt look to much like a bandit but had tried to hold him up for his supplies, Charlie started to squeeze the trigger on his glock although the man passed out, collapsing on the ground before he fired. Was this man really a bandit?

Charlie stood there, gun pointed at the unconscious man, he contemplated shooting the main in the head and almost did so, but he ultimately decided to spare him, Charlie was still a "good guy", not a bandit. It wasnt an easy decision to spare this man as his white polo shirt was covered in blood along with a knife that was also dark red. Charlie placed his bag on the ground took out a dirty rag like shirt, tying the unconscious man hands tightly behind his back before dragging him down the road to an abandoned car. He lifted the man into the car, out of the heat, but not before stripping the man of any weapons, including his knife and pistol. Charlie also took the mans backpack which had the basic survivor supplies most survivors had.

Caiden woke up with a numb feeling only to find himself on a car. He was lucky enough for the man to actually spare him. But he was still lacking of supplies and would die eventually. He also was strapped with cloth. He tilted his head left and right until he saw the man. "You know... we can make a deal. I just need suppplies... " He said with a calm tone. He was attempting to bribe but in this state.

(( Will edit it ASAP. ))

It didnt take long for the man to wake up. While the man was asleep Charlie had seen the massacre that lay only a few metres from the road, he quickly connected the dots. Charlie started to rethink his decision to let the man live. . "You know... we can make a deal. I just need supplies... " The man said to Charlie. Charlie gave a fake laugh "You think your in any position to make a deal?" Charlie said. He grabbed the man by his bindings, dragging him out of the car and onto the road.

(May be disturbing to some viewers, but here is our first look at where Whesley is)

Whesley sat quietly on the ground, his wrists tied together tightly, with his back to a large tree. The fresh bruise on his cheek burned as the cold wind blew heavily. Markus had given it to him when he refused to do "target practice" on an innocent. Markus and the group usually let Whesley tag along on the runs, but since he disobeyed yesterday, he wasn't allowed, and was tied up in the woods as punishment until the group returned from their run. The group was trying to teach Whesley to be like them, but Whesley fell short of their evil ways. Because of This, the group began lending Whesley to other bandits in exchange for supplies or favors. Whesley began to remember the first time he was lended out. It had only been one day after he was taken from his mother. The man had instructed Wesley to take off his own clothes as well the bandit did the same. What happened next Whesley didn't want to think about, but each time he was lended it was always worse. Each time Whesley was returned to the group he had tears in his eyes, and more often than not he had new bruises. Whesley fore thought of his family to make him feel better. Whesleys thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps and laughter. A moment later Markus walked in front of Whesley with a suspicious grin. "You have a trip to take tonight little man." He said showing off his nice new Bowie knife. Whesley tried to hide the tears that began swelling up in his eyes, "I don't wanna go Markus." He said sadly. Markus's grin vanished. "I don't care what you want. You won't guard and can't scavenge, so this is how you gotta earn your keep." He cut the rope from Whesleys wrists in a swift motion. At that Whesley stood wiping his pants off as he looked at the ground. "And don't fucking bite the man this time." Markus said as he took a swing of whiskey.

Susan nodded in response to the girl's apology, waving a dismissive hand in the air and giving her the ghost of a smile. "I understand." As another girl approached, she redirected her attention to her, who she'd introduced herself as Sage, and extended a hand for her to shake. "Susan," she replied, "Or Sue. Whatever floats you boat." She smiled in an attempt to be friendly.

Rain walked away back into her room.It was quiet in there and she liked that. She hated the noise and the chaos of the apocalypse it was annoying and so were the people. She wished her sister was here and someone calm the she could talk to.

Caiden was recklessly pushed back and forth out of the car by the man. He was forced to walk down the road with his hands still strapped. "You think you're in any position to make a deal?" the man had said. Caiden chuckled at the words, "No..." before he finished his statement, with all the force he could save, he kicked the man down to the ground and locked his shoe on the man's neck, "...but I am now."

His eyes staring down at the man with a threatening stare. One bad move from the man and his neck gets snapped. "Don't be foolish, buddy... We could finish this here and I'll get your supplies, or, you could still live and I'll still get your supplies..." Caiden said with a fake smirk.

(( Okay let me catch up. ))

"Wanna come in?" Sage said feeling sorry for the poor girl. Troye had went off on

her for something she had no control over. "Sorry about him...." she mumbled quietly. She was unsure as to why Troye had came to tears over the cat, but he never shed a tear when Alex went away. She shrugged off her thoughts as she turned around to go back inside.

Troye continued crying, and clenching his fists tightly. He couldn't take this, that cat had been Troye's only shining of hope since this started. The cat gave him something to look after, and now he had failed. Jessica tried to hold him, but he shrugged her off "You think im crazy, but you just dont get it!" he screamed as he ran up the stairs of the house. He went into the first room, the walls were painted a gray color and the floor was wooden. The room began spinning as Troye punched a hole deep into the wall. He knew he was crying over a cat, but it was important to him. The cat mattered, and it had a chance, but one slip and it was gone. For the first time since Troye met the group, he pulled his small flask out of his coat pocket, downing it all in one swing.

Alex held unto Eva tightly. "Do you remember how long its been since you've seen him?" he said trying to figure out what he could do to find his son.

"Uhmm" she sniffled thinking about it, "I dont know... a few weeks? Uhm... I remember we were scouting a small town and we witnessed a bunch of bandits attacking a police station and driving a bunch of innocents out... we were attacked by the bandit group a few hours later... the uhm... hurt me and whesley" she shivered at the memory, "and when I came around... Whesley was gone..." she said quietly tearing up

Jessica frowned, she didn't like seeing Troye like that, so she picked up the walketalke and called for Alex's name

"He's out there somewhere. Bandits would've killed him on the spot if they wanted to." Alex said think hard. He heard his name in a staticky voice downstairs. "I'll be right back." He said as he began to walk out the door. He charged down the stairs. "This is Alex." He said a little frustrated.

"Alex, I don't know what to do" Jessica said into the device "Troye went outside to save someone from the biters, and his cat got out, they killed it... now Troye locked himself upstairs... he was crying, I don't know what to do" she said quietly, in a panicky voice.

Eva sat up and wiped away some tears then sat at the end of the bed, the memories of the bandits... touching her son, filling her head. She rubbed her face then stood up and went downstairs to see Alex talking on the walketalke

"That'd be great," Susan responded. Why Sage had offered her kindness, Sue wasn't quite sure - it wasn't often you found someone who would reach out to others in a time like this - but instead of letting her suspicion rule, she tried her hand at being grateful. The girl's apology threw the 21 year-old off guard, her brows perking. "He could've done worse," she said, head tilting to the side. She followed Sage into the house while her gaze soaked up her surroundings, up until she slid her way into a chair. Unsheathing her blade, she wiped it on her jeans. "So," she began, eyes trained to the liquid soaking through the fabric on her thigh from cleaning her knife. "How many people are here?"

"He's crying?" Alex said bewildered.

Now THAT was something he needed to see. "Does your house have a address?" He asked reluctantly

"I've seemed to loose count." Sage murmured. "But there's a few more that aren't here yet." Sage plopped herself on the couch and laid her head back.

"Uhhm, well its like, the only house on the street that has huge gates... one sec." She went outside and looked at the numbers on the wall, "it seems that there's a number missing frkm the house numbers, its 22_6. And we're on a street called Rosewood. It's just at the edge of town with lots of larger houses" she explained to Alex. She went back inside and upstairs, she found the only closed door and sat in the hallway, "you should get here quick" she said quietly and set the walketalke down, "Troye..." she knocked softly, "I'm not going to let you break down."

Eva raised an eyebrow "cold hsrd Troye is crying over a cat?" She laughed a bit, "we should go. He must really be broken" she said a bit softer.

Emi was downstairs when she heard Alex ask for the address and Eva mention leaving, "uhhh are we leaving?"she asked quietly.

Alex sighed "Be there soon." He looked at Eva and Emi, "The thing about these sudden change in plans is that we don't have much time before dark, nor do we have a car." he said frustrated. "We're gonna have to leave now." he said. "Grab your stuff." he said grabbing his and Eva's supplies. "Keep your weapons at hand at all times."

Troye stood in the room looking at the hole in the wall. He heard Jessica outside, but he didn't care at the moment. Now all he could think about was home. He thought about one of the last phone calls he had ever recieved, it had been a girl named Allison. He didn't even remember ever meeting the girl, but she remembered him. She had been one of Troye's one night stands. He remembered the unforgetable words the woman had said, and he remembered hanging up the phone immediatly, petrified. That's when he'd decided to call Alex, and get out of town.

Troye fumbled with his fingers as he wondered if his child had been born yet.
