Realistic or Modern The Dead among us

Eva didn't sleep long, she just needed a quick boost. She sat upand rubbed her eyes, "hi" she said groggily and smiled a little at Alex.

Emi walked down the stairs and went iver to MacKenzie "she's Alexs wife... they found escother again she smiled. "Come on. I found barbies upstairs you can play with. She led MacKenzie upstairs

Jessica watched Troye walk to the dinning room and frowned a little, Jessica decided to see what she had in her backpack and found her walketalke, her eyes went wide "Troye!"

"Hey." Alex said brushing Eva's messy hair from her face. "Sleep good?" He asked softly. Alex smiled a bit when Emi came to get Mackenzie. She was a sweet girl.

Troye was trying to organize his thoughts when Jessica yelled his name. He turned torwards her surprised. He saw thewalkie-talkie I her hand and his eyes immediately widened. "We can find Alex!" He yelled happily.

Rylee had been dozing off a bit on the couch for she was dead tired, and then was jolted awake when Jessica yelled for Troye. She thought her heart would have jumped out of her chest. Shaking her head a bit, she tried to rid the thought that was eating away at the back of her mind. She relaxed when she found out all the commotion was over a walkie-talkie and the two seemed rather excited over finding this Alex person.

Rain heard Troye yell at Jessica that they found a walkie talkie and the first thing that came to mind was Mackenzie. She ran to where Troye and Jessica is."Do you guys think we might be able to get a hold of them."She said finally excited to maybe get a hold of the other group

Jessica smiled brightly and nodded, "I totally forgot about this!" She pressed the button on the little communicator and said into it, "Emi? Emi can you hear me" she waited for a reply anxiously.

Eva nodded and blinked a few times, "do you guys have food? I haven't eaten in a few days" she ssid quietly and persed her lips, she heard a sound, like talking, coming from Emis backpack. "Uhmmm I think that bag is talking" she pointed to it.

Alex's eyes went wide to the bag. "EMI!" He yelled loudly. He crawled across the floor to Emi's bag going through it to find out where Jessica's voice was coming from. At the bottom of the bag he found a small walke talke he pressed a button on the side, "Jessica?? This is Alex." He said excitedly

Jessica let out a relieved sigh "oh my god, where are you guys? Is everyone okay? Anyone injured? Tell me where you are. Where Emi?" Jessica kept asking a million questions.

Emi ran down he stairs when she heard Alex call for her, "what! Whats wrong!?" She stopped when she saw Alex holding the walketalke and gasped "oh my god! I thought I lost that!" She ran over, hearing her sisters voice in the machine

"We're okay! We found Eva! We're in Some town called Brownsville! Where are you? Emi is right here we have Mackenzie and (Emily grace?) too! Where's Troye? Is he okay?" Alex began to ask questions too. He couldn't have been happier. He found his wife and his group all in one day.

Rain smiled as she heard Alex's voice on the other side. She almost cried of happiness when they said that MacKenzie was ok.

Eva set her hand on Alex's back, he was getting overly excited. She giggled a little at how cute it was. "Calm down" she smiled and sat beside him.

Jessica listened to all his questions "Troye where are we?" She smiled up at him, "and who's Eva?" She questioned but shrugged it off, "here" she handed Troye the walketalke.

Emi smiled happily, thats all she could do.

"Jackson" Troye said happily. "Only 30 minutes away by car.Oh, Eva is Alex's wife. " Troye said looking at Jessica. "Eva if you can hear me, your a damn bitch for walking out on Alex. He talked about you everyday since you've been gone."

Eva stood up, the guilt was back, "okay..." she backed up and went up the stairs, she found a bedroom and went inside, sitting on the bed.

A frown touched Jessicas lips and she set her hand on Troyes shoulder, "im sure she hsd a reason to" she whispred in his ear, "so be nice."

"Shit Troye. We'll find a car and come to Jackson tomorrow." He said angrily as he stomped after Eva, handing Emi the talke.

Troye looked over at Jessica who's eyebrow was raised at him, "What.. I was just kidding..." He said looking at her embarrassed. "Sage! Philip! Come here!" He yelled trying to rid the tension off of him

Eva crossed her arms and pulled her knees to her chest snd wrapped her arms around her knees. She hates herself for leaving Alex...

Emi took the talke and said into it, "Jessica I love you.." then she out it away, a smile on her face. She was excited to see her sister.

Jessica shrugged and smiled, "shoulda made that clear... but enough of that, we found our group!" She said excitedly, she heard her sister say I love you and tears came to Jessicas eyes, "we found my sister" she hugged him

Alex rushed upstairs into the room Eva was in. "Im so sorry.. he didn't mean that. You know how bad Troye is when he's joking." Alex said as he walked into the room. He hugged his wife tightly, "Its gonna be okay now. Your here, and we're gonna find Wesley."

Troye frowned slightly. He regretted saying what he did. "I'll hold on to this till we find them, in case Alex needs our help." he whispered as he was hugging Jessica

Rylee got up and walked to the room the others were in, overhearing about finding the other group they were looking for. "So, are we on the move?" She probably shouldn't have said we since she wasn't a part of this group.

Sage walked down the stairs. Hearing Rylee's statement and Troye calling her and Philip, she looked at Troye "Huh? On the move?" she said a bit confused, this house was seemingly safe. "What's going on?" she said noticing Jessicas excitment and Troye's dismay. She also couldn't help but notice that Rylee said "we". She had missed A LOT while she was upstairs with Philip.

Jessica didn't want to let go of Troye because for thr first time since the apocalypse, she felt safe. She closed her eyes for a second then backed up when she heard the new girls and Sages voice, "uhm... I guess so..." she said quietly and blushed, "we found the group!" She said to sage

Eva frowned "I know... I just felt bad... I feel like a bad person..." she said quietly and hugged him back "we'll find Whesley" she said quietly and looked at him

James had been wondering for days, with Hailey on his back. The two year old was sound asleep riding piggy back, just like she always had sense this nightmare started. Sense his wife, Amy, was killed by the wonderers. The sole less bastards almost took everything away from him that day... almost. He had managed to save his baby girl, the centre of his universe, Hailey. He promised her he would keep her alive, and damn it that's what he was going to do. Hailey whimpered in her sleep, and shuffled. She must be waking up... He was in a state called Tennessee. Nothing like Canada! He had just passed a sign that said "Now Entering Jackson."

Hailey whined, "Don't like here..."

James looked at her over his shoulder and said, "Don't worry baby, we won't stay long."

And with that, the walked into the ruins of Jackson Tennessee.

(omg that's not what I ment ugh darn phone.it sent me to the wrong thing)

Rain looked at the room she was staying at and threw what she could in the bag that would help them stay warm.

Susan's feet ached as she dragged on through the edge of the city, wincing when she stepped on a rock that further tore open the blisters gnawing at her heels. Supplies had gone to shambles about a week ago, and Sue'd been scavenging for food and water since then, mostly returning back to her quaint little shelter empty-handed. She ran a hand over her face and, when her arm fell back to her side, couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Not too far away was a Jeep that seemed vacant. Brows furrowing, she threw a few suspicious glances around and began to approach the vehicle with hesitant steps. No traps? Relief flooded over her, but it only served momentary before she caught eye of the wisp of smoke sliding out from the car's hood.

She popped open the hood to get a face full of steam. Coughing and waving her hand in front of her face, Sue peered through the mist the best she could. Her shoulders sagged. The Jeep wasn’t going to be in her favor, it seemed, and it hadn’t helped that Susan knew jack-squat about fixing cars. “Dammit,” she breathed, shutting the hood and turning away from the car to survey her surroundings. From what she remembered, she hadn’t been around this area before. She’d normally trail along the outskirts of the city since going inside was practically a guarantee for trouble. She was half-way turned around when her periphery caught a footprint - then another, and another, and another, all leading into the city. She weighed her options. Option 1 was maybe the safer bet - just turning around, forgetting all this happened, and going off on her merry way. Option 2 included following after the footprints to see where they lead.

Supplies were much more abundant in the city, but people would do anything to get their hands on them. Between not taking a chance and probably starving, to taking the risk and maybe surviving, she went with the latter. And, with a deep breath, she started off.

The footprints died off as they went into the city, and from there, Susan decided to take her own route. Lining the streets were desolate houses, and the sudden thought that others may be inhabiting them made her uneasy, especially since she was practically wandering aimlessly down the sidewalk. Taking a hard right, she slipped into an alley. Her hand hovered in an instinctive position over the blade strapped to her thigh as she made her way down the alley, but much to her benefit, it hadn't taken her long to emerge. She gave a glance back to the dark alleyway and blew out a breath, freezing when she looked back ahead.

In front of her was a gated house, in better condition than the others around it. It has to be inhabited if it's in that good of shape. The thought of supplies beamed into her mind, but she was clueless when it came to actually getting them. She shook her head. No one in this time would be willing to lend some supplies to a stranger just for the hell of it. Chewing on the inside of her lip, she left the house and the thought of entering it behind as she carried on in her search for supplies, pinning her eyes forward while she fought the urge to throw a glance back at the gated house.

The sound of a gurgled growl stopped her in her tracks. Pivoting slowly to her side, she ground her teeth. A zombie ran at her with limp-y strides, dragging a broken, decomposing leg while one arm drooped from its shoulder, a groan seeping from its parted mouth. Susan whipped out her knife and shifted herself into a fighting stance, bouncing her weight between her feet as the distance between her and the undead closed. When the zombie got close enough, she dodged to the side and slipped behind it. She hadn't hesitated in driving the knife through the back of its neck, twisting and jerking the knife around for good measure. It grunted and fell to the ground with a dull thud. Placing her foot on the corpse, she gripped the blade's handle and tugged it from the rotting flesh. Sue let out a relieved breath, lowering into a crouch. She put the blade at the base of the zombie's neck and began to cut, aiming to decapitate the damn thing. Another gurgle kicked her to her feet. She whirled around, but withdrew a step at what she saw - more zombies.

"Too many," she murmured, jamming the blade back in its holder, "Way too many." She took off in the opposite direction while her mind scrambled for ideas on where to hide, how to escape. The gated house was the first thing to come to mind, and, not having a moment to second-guess it, she went with it. She hadn't ventured too far from the house, so it wasn't long before she slipped through the gates. She glared daggers at the zombies, frowning. "I'd rather get shot than let one of you little shits kill me." She breathed deeply in an attempt to keep her heart from pounding out of her ribcage, then turned toward the house, "Come to think of it," she muttered, chuckling dryly. "I've got a pretty good chance of being shot anyway."

(Sorry this is so long, hah. Hopefully it's alright.)
