Realistic or Modern The Dead among us

Eva sighed and took her bag from Alex "I got it, but thanks" she smiled and went to get her gun from the coffee table. "We could find a car, there was one in the garage in the housemyou found me..." she suggested.

Emi smiled excitedly "okay!" She quickly went to grab her things and she packed a few Barbies for Mackenzie and grabbed onenof the blankets. "Im ready" she smiled at Alex.

Jessica shook her head "Troye..." she frowned and backed up "fine. But just know, that if I had lost Emi for good, I wouldn't have given up. You're being selfish" She said a bit coldly went downstairs and sat at the kitchen table, crossing her legs. She had been mad at him because he was giving up because of something so small. But she didn't know the real reason he was actually breaking down

Rylee had woke up when she felt the couch shake a bit as someone sat down. When did everyone decide to come down here? She thought as she looked at the three females, focusing her attention on the one that was sitting on a chair that had caused quite a commotion outside.

"How did you manage to get a whole mob of undead after you?" Rylee asked with a slight sneer, feeling a bit cranky that her small nap had been disturbed.

Susan gave a half-grunt half-laugh. "Hell if I know." Slipping her blade back into its holder, she shot her gaze to the woman whom Sage sat down next to on the couch. "Either my brashness or bad luck. I was too curious about that damn Jeep." She blew out a long sigh and leaned forward, setting her elbows on her knees and shifting her weight onto them. "Would've been great if the damn thing actually worked."

Alex made sure they grabbed everything before he headed out the door. He walked behind the girls so he could watch over them. When they got to the house that Eva was at before, I took them a while to find the keys, but once the did they settled their things in the trunk and drive forward to Jackson.

Phillip opened his eyes and noticed he was on Sage's bed still. How long have I been asleep ? He asked himself, he wasn't quite sure. hopefully the group hadn't mysteriously forgotten his whereabouts and left without him, he wouldn't know what to do. As for all the commotion that was caused earlier, Phillip slept right through it. He headed through the hall, and continued down the stairs where he seen Sage and that Riley girl sitting on a couch. He sat down on the couch with the two, giving Sage and smile, that transitioned to a scowl when his eyes met with Rylee. "So what'd I miss?" He asked the two.

"Well this is Suzanne." Sage said motioning to the girl standing in the corner. "Oh, in other news Troye is on his period." She said with a smirk.

Alex drove down the road listening to the static of the radio. He was just about to switch over the station when a voice broke through the static, "You.... could... safe" was all Alex could make out. "Did you hear that?" he said looking around at everyone else in the car. That was when he noticed the person crossing the road. He had almost dismissed the man as a walker, but then he noticed the child on his back. "SHIT. HOLD ON." He said coming to a sudden stop.

Leah held up her crossbow as she narrowed her eyes upon her prey; a rabbit that sat on the edge of the road. Breathing out slowly, the woman could almost feel her own heart rate slow as her chest lay upon the top of the camper where she'd taken refuge for the past four nights. Just as her finger jerk the trigger back, a set of screeching tires alerted her snack. It took off like a bullet, and unfortunately, one faster than her bolt which stuck into the mixture of gravel and dry grass where her target once sat.

With a cuss slipping out under her breathe, she sat up, criss-crossing her legs and laying her weapon in it. "Fast food..." she muttered, glaring off into the direction the rodent took off into before averting her blue eyes to the source of the commotion. People. The woman frowned and grabbed her binoculars, taking in the look of a car stopped on the road and what to her, looked like a walker. She looped the binoculars around her neck, threw the weapon onto her shoulder and began hiking towards the group, remaining in the shadows. As she got close enough, she grabbed a mirror, shining a beam of light towards the group as a signal to show she was human. No need for noise, no time for noise, no need or time for walkers. She waited to catch someone's eye, and held a small pistol in her hands, just in case.

Rylee was about to say to Suzanne that it must have been her jeep that she came across when a teenage boy, Phillip walked into the room. He scowled when they made eye contact, and Rylee just smirked at the boy, raising an eyebrow. Dude must be on his period. But she did let out a small laugh when Sage said that Troye was on his period.

"I think all the guys are in sync..." Rylee mumbled as she examined her fingernails, scraping the dirt from underneath them.

Sue's head lifted at the mention of her name. Brows perked, she gave a single wave to the teenage boy, afterwards using the same hand to prop her chin up. By now, Sue had pieced together that Troye was the man who killed the horde of zombies, saved her life, and blamed her for the cat's death. Her gaze fell to the ground as she pursed her lips. The combination of Sage's and the woman's remark about the guys spread a wry smile on her face, and she suppressed a chuckle. One big 'happy' family, I guess. "Is Troye always so... emotional?"

(Sorry RP nation was down for like 30 minutes)

"No, this is surprising actually.." Sage said before looking over at Rylee. "Philip is NOT on his period." she said in Philips defense, but still she laughed, she couldnt help but find Rylee's statement hilarious. Philip had been a bit rude to her, so maybe he deserved it. She looked at Philip, "Good nap?" she said smiling at him brightly.

((@ProxCnC sorry for the late reply!))

Before Charlie knew he was on the ground with a boot on his throat, He heard the man say something but he didnt quite catch what he said, With all his force Charlie grabbed the boot, flipping the man onto the ground. He grabbed his glock, lunging on top of the man, pointing it into his forehead, ready to pull the trigger.

((@ProxCnC unless you have any other ideas, im thinking Charlie could probably tie Caiden up and leave him? or they could get attacked by bandits idk?))

(( @JacobLoL that's okay! And wouldn't leaving me tied up be too boring xD I mean our objective was to meet up, why go part ways again LOL so maybe we should probably make a relationship between them then move to wherever the group is heading? ))

Caiden never thought of locking the man's hands which was stupid of Caiden. The heat and pressure really gets to him. So within a few quick seconds it is as if the duo switched positions. Caiden was now the one being threatened. And he couldn't do anything. His hands were tied tight and his other supporting limbs were now unable to move. So again, Caiden's outcome now rests upon this stranger he met by the road. And Caiden doesn't think the man would give him a second chance. Yet even so, it doesn't hurt to ask. So without further ado, Caiden beamed at the man, "Can I have a second chan---?" his question was cut off by a loud noise just south of them.

Behind the man, the highway seemed to be... collapsing?!

Yes, and it was collapsing fast. So fast it shook the surface they both were on and some surprisingly working cars began to flicker lights and loud alarms as the other cars fell down the highway. The sound of the destruction, together with the sound of the alarms could certainly attract zombies. In fact, Caiden could hear a horde of undead reacting to the sound. If the man doesn't get themselves to safety, it's game over.

"That's not cool... THAT'S NOT COOL! Come on, man! Go! Go GO!" He exclaimed as his eyes widened in fear. Of course, he couldn't get himself up, so he needed to trust the man. Without even thinking if the man would actually help someone who tried to kill him. All he wanted is to live.

Charlie jumped up off the man as the highway behind them seemed to collapsing into the ground which was a little strange because the only thing below was.. dirt?

He ran to the nearest car that had the mans supplies and his own backpack, it seemed to have turned on from the earthquake. He jumped into the drivers seat and put his foot on the gas, spinning the car around so it was facing away from the earthquake. In his rear mirror he could see the man still tied, struggling to get up. Most people, even his own group who he was with before would help the man, well Charlie didnt think so. He didnt have much time to think between the rapidly approaching ground- that was collapsing and the hoard of a few hundred Zombies. He definitely almost drove off on the man, but then he thought of Emi (@Dannygirl900), what would she have him do?

He could see the man thought that he would leave him.

Charlie rushed out of the car, snatching the man bindings and throwing him into the boot of the car, slamming it shut. He then ran around to the drivers seat and took off, speeding away from the Zombies and collapsing ground that was now mere meters away.

Caiden, still shocked at the scene that happened was again surprised by the man's great decision to spare him. "I could have been hopeless..." he whispered to himself. He was now inside the boot of the car and could here a lot of zombies. The chance of escaping is very small, but before he'd die, he would like to give respect to this stranger. What could have triggered this man to do the right thing in a twisted world? Caiden is still picking up the pieces.

Right now, Caiden was just truly traumatized of the event. He had to breathe. Even though his bindings were still there, still this man saved him for a reason who knows what. He struggled to catch glimpses of the sight outside as the door of the boot was a bit broken and every other second a slight opening was shown.

The car started to jolt violently as he saw countless deep cracks split the road around and in front of him. Zombies were not a huge problem now, but the highway caving in was, Charlie had both hands on the wheel, one also holding his glock, he kept looking back to see if the stranger had somehow managed to get into the back seat of the car, he knew it was impractical but that didn't stop his paranoia. The car continued to jolt around violently as Charlie kept his foot slammed, full speed on the gas.

It had been a while since Jessica checked on Troye, so she left her spot st the table and went up to the room, "Troye... please, talk to me" she said a bit softer, "Alex is concerned... they're on their way now." She said and knocked softly.

Eva's eyes went wide at the voice on the radio, "well shit." She then directed her eyes to the street, but when Alex stopped quickly, Eva put out her hand on the dash. She let out a yelp in pain and brought her hand back. The impact of the stop and hitting her hand on the dash had sprained it.

Troye heard Jessica's voice through the door. He wished she would just go away. He crawled in to the bed that was in the Middle of the room, and stared at the ceiling. He wanted to go back home. Not to this wreck world, but he wanted to go home and things be better. He shouldn't have ran off. He should have stayed in Califronia, and found the girl. He could've kept them safe.

(( Rp is slow today sorry. Also, new characters I am trying to find a way to fit you in , but you will be added soon, sorry for the wait!))

"At least say something so I know youre not dead" Jessica said quietly and crossed her arms. She was pissed kore than anything. He had shown her a few hours of happiness, now he was cutting her out. A reason she had only trusted her sister. Jessica ran her fingers through her hair then back up when she hesrd the squeak of the bed, she knew he wasnt dead. "When Alex brings Emi here, Emi and I are leaving." She said and started walking away.

Caiden tried his best to jolt up and move to the back seat. At this time, his adrenaline was now triggered to the fullest. Almost nothing can stop him from getting up. And so he did, as if it was nothing, Caiden moved up to the back seat and ended up rolling. He looked to the man, "Can you at least untie me?!" he shouted fighting the loud noises of the environment around them.
