Blue cracks open an eyelid. "The target is dead, everything went to crap so now Greenwall is off get her ass handed to her by HQ while we wait for evac. Dig in and keep an eye out, the griffons are sure to be out looking for us." He grumbles.

"Well that sucks. Are you sure we are supposed to wait for someone to evac us and that she didn't leave you with something for one of my mages or myself to use to transport us?"

Blue furrows his eyebrows, confused for a moment. "I think so..." He looks at the return rune scroll at his side, as if perplexed as to how it got there. "Yeah, can you use this?"

"Alright. Ready for us all to be in a right mess that will make us wish we were still fighting griffons?" Star begins to dredge up what remains of his magic to cast the return spell.

Pleaseworkforonce updated The Dawn Brigade, Equestria's Fall (EF) with a new update entry:


Welcome to Canterlot

The remnants of the expedition appear within Canterlots secondary mage tower "The Night's Charge". They are quickly rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Greenwall has given her initial report and is waiting at a different hospital with Dim and Flare until HQ calls her.


Dim is no longer comatose, but is being kept until they are sure he's fine.

Blue lies comatose on a hospital bed in Hospital A.

Greenwall says goodbye to Dim before she leaves hospital b (Have any hospital names by chance) to get lunch

 

[Balancer]

A nurse looks over Blue. "I don't get it doctor, he's in perfect condition, no brain damage, nothing. He should be up by now."


(Nope, no names.)

Greenwall trots down the road towards the market place. She looks around at the restaurants until she finds The Rock Cafe. Deciding to get Dim a rocky surprise she goes in.

 

[Balancer]

Blues eyes snap open, for a moment all he can see is bright orange leaves swirling around him, the ever persistent mare curled up against him. Your debt is not yet repaid Blue She purrs into his ear, the sickly sweet smell of compost and decay fills his nostrils before he snaps back to reality startling the team of medical personal around him.


Brushing off there questions he quickly leaves, famished he makes a bee line for the nearest cafe.

Greenwall steps into the restaurant filled with foreign dignitaries and finds a seat in a booth.


The waiter arrives and sets a glass of water in front of her "Would you like the Griffin, Dragon, or pony menu ma'am"


"I'll take the Griffin and Dragon menus" As the waiter walks off a scroll burns into existence. Groaning she digs into her bag.

 

[Balancer]

Blue stumbles into a fancy looking restaurant, the waiter trotting up to him. "Ah good evening...sir." The waiter says, looking Blue up and down, his prominent scars and recent hospital tag making him stick out like a sore thumb.


"I need meat." He says moving to take a table only for the waiter to gently place a hoof on his chest.


"Ah sorry sir, we appear to be full. Perhaps I can recommend another establishment, maybe one more suited to one of your...means."

Greenwall places a bottle on the counter and stares into her glass. She bobs her head her head to the roc n roll blaring in the dark restaurant

 

[Balancer]

Blue looks over the waiter shoulder seeing Greenwall down the back of the restaurant hiding in a corner. "No need, I'm with a guest." He says as he brushes past he waiter.

(I would not call this restaurant fancy, but okay)


Greenwall fills her mouth with water before she tilts her head back. She levitates the bottle to her lips.

 

[Balancer]

(You said it was filled with foreign dignitaries...) Blue takes a seat opposite her, throwing a bag of bits at the waiter. "Steak, rare, now." He growls.

Dim groans as he sits up in bed

(Fuck I don't remember where I was going with this) Dim flips off the bed and trots to the window. "Finally I can get out of this dump. " Taking advantage of the commotion Dim escapes through the window.

"So, how long until I can get out of here exactly?" Star can be found in bed in the burn unit of the hospital dealing with getting himself healed up from the burns of the explosion.


"We are pretty much finished now, sir." A nurse informs him.


"Oh yay, time to toss myself back into the grinder." He finishes working out a spell and ties it to his clothing. The burn scars disappear as it goes into effect making it look like he had never been hurt.

Dim ditches his hospital gown and casually trots towards the bar. This is the first time in months that Dim has not wore any clothing. His fur almost completely unscarred, aside from one on his stomach he has not had removed yet.

Greenwall drops a couple of pills in her mouth before returning the bottle to her bag. "Someone's grumpy" (Ignore everything that was deleted, I was not thinking clearly because of reasons, as I said earlier)

Blue raises an eyebrow. "No more than usual. Since when did you take pills?"

"I've been taking anti-inflammatories for a while now"
