Letting her go with a frown Blue tips the waiter and leaves to go find Dim, heading for the one sure place to find him. The bar closest to the hospital.

Dim walks up to the Griffin barkeep and orders an energy drink spiked with rum

Dim takes a swig of his drink

 

[Balancer]

Blue ducks into the bar, seating himself next to Dim. "Sir."

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"Person" Dim says nodding back

 

[Balancer]

Flagging the bartender Blue motions to a bottle of spirts. "Two, half glass." He says as he pulls out a smoke.

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

I miss anything interesting?

 

[Balancer]

Blue blows a stream of smoke over his shoulder. "Just getting slapped around by Greenwall."

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

Dim chuckles before he takes a long drink from his glass.

 

[Balancer]

"Swear that mare's going to give me brain damage if I live long enough to retire." Blue grumbles around his smoke. "How the wounds holding up sir?"

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"Alright I suppose. Probably be ready for action by time the next mission starts."

 

[Balancer]

"Good to hear sir, hasn't been the same without you." Blue replies, raising a glass.

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

Dim raises a glass in response saying "I'll drink to that"

 

[Balancer]

"So how pissed do you think the brass are going to be?"

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"Enough to drive me to drink" Dim says taking a swig of his drink

 

[Balancer]

"Not a hard feat." Blue replies. "Sir." He hastily adds, swigging back his own drink.

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

Dim eyes Blue from above his glass before his horn begins to glow in order to bump the bottom of Blues glass. "Touche"

 

[Balancer]

As he brings the glass right back Blue feels the nudge, pushing the cup further back than he would like causing him to gag on his drink for a second before swallowing. Scowling he at Dim he slams his drink on the counter. "So that's how it is?"

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

Dim taps on the counter signaling the barkeep "You got it. Now how about I drink you under the table?"

 

[Balancer]

"You can try, sir." Blue replies as he motions to the bartender.

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"Hah!" Dim laughs "We got a lively on, I won't even use magic for this one" Dim grins before telling the bartender" a shot of Everfree for both of us, and keep em coming!" (Alright lets do a drinking game. Each turn you will write a quick sentence describing your character taking a shot and how drunk they are. You will also roll a 99 die. The first one to reach a sum over 1000 loses and will pass out)


Dim takes the shot and swigs it, waiting for the bartender to refill.

(No bonus for physical hardiness?) Blue raises his shot and tips it back.

"Smooth as water." He says with a grin.

(I figured Dim and Blue would be pretty similar in alcoholic tolerance)


Dim smirks before tossing a shot back.

(True, I suppose their supernatural tolerances are magical.)


Locking eyes Blue tilts his second shot back.

Blue winces slightly as the drink goes down

Green smiles calmly gathering three shots together before taking them in rapid procession

Dim cringes as each shot goes down, nearly losing his stomach on the second one.
