Blue shrugs and immediately regrets it. "My old boss in the Solar's said they only sent me in when they needed something dead. Was never one for recon." He looks sideways at Greenwall. What's her problem He thinks to himself.

Greenwall snatches scroll as it appears in front of her. "Wow I swear if the government gave us full access to thier spy network we would have already won this war." Greenwall groans. She burns the scroll before saying "I really hate them sometimes." She reaches back and takes something from her pack. "Well lets find Star and the Lunars so we can leave"

 

[Balancer]

"What's the message?" Blue asks as he hefts his sword onto his back.

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

It just says I'm getting chewed out when I get back.

 

[Balancer]

"Fuckers." Blue said as he lit a smoke, a tired look on his face as he offered one to Greenwall. "One for the road ma'm?"

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"Nope" she walks into the cave and starts to write out several laters before sending them off." Hopefully anyone alive will get these and get back here"

 

[Balancer]

Blue begins the process of hunkering down, crafting a crude fortification while keeping an lookout. You killed those ponies Blue, you'll crack and tell her. Do you think she'd kill you now? You wouldn't be able to put up a fight you know. Blue grimaced as the mare in his head taunted him, the hallucination stretched languidly along his back. Go on, tell her.

"Fortifications won't do anything you know right?"

 

[Balancer]

"It takes my mind off things, building for a change." Blue replied

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"Huh alright then" Greenwall sends out a final letter and sits there waiting for a response

 

[Balancer]

"So why haven't you been reacting to my cussing?" Blue asks from behind his hastily constructed fort, watching Greenwall warily.

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"Huh? I must have just not noticed" Greenwall quickly grabs a bottle as it pops into existence. "Drink this" She throws it to Blue

 

[Balancer]

Blue swigs down the bottle.

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"That should start to heal your internal wounds, well unless that was the nightshade extract I ordered a month ago... Nah it's healing"

 

[Balancer]

Blue runs his tongue along the inside of his mouth as he feels his internal organs settle into place. "Thanks."

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"Don't thank me, it's coming out of your pay" Greenwall says with a straight face

 

[Balancer]

Blue shrugs. "That's fine. So what happened on Dim's mission?"

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

Most of it is classified, but apparently the mission went bad at the hands of a solar and there were only 2 survivors. Dim and some Lunar captain.

 

[Balancer]

"A solar screwed up or the mission went wrong on it's watch?" Blue asks.

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"That's classified" Greenwall groans as another letter pops in front of her. "Bleh, Blue do you think you can wait for Star? He should be able to use this return rune to get the rest of you guys back, but the CO's are requiring an in person report." Greenwall takes takes off her helmet and digs into her saddlebag. After several moments she tilts her head up with a water bottle chugging it.

Nodding slightly Blue motions for her to go as he digs into his little fort, more a pile of dirt than anything, and lays down.

Greenwall pulls out one of her last gems. "Are you going to be okay" (come on ebony, let's finish this bad boy)

 

[Balancer]

"Yeah, that spot of healing should tide me over until I can see a medic." Blue says, twitching slightly as his raw muscle sticks to the joints in his plate armor. He flicks his head indicating Greenwall should leave as he braces his crossbow on pile of dirt.


"Go."

Greenwall shrugs before crushing a gem and teleporting away

A good deal of the troops that were sent with Star make it to where Balancer is still around. Only a few had been lost fighting the griffons that had come to check up on the destroyed barracks. About ten minutes later a burned and mostly clothes less Star shows up. It would seem he had to pull the same trick as before with his robes ripping apart surrounding enemies.


"Yo." He drags himself in. "Got anything to eat. I didn't have time to get a snack on the run from the roasted griffons all around."
