He doesn't point out that the reason for this is that it likely doesn't exist anymore and was probably swallowed up in a chaos storm millenia ago. "It was a nice enough little village though. Lots of diversity due to a nearby cross roads but not a lot of trade given that it wasn't a popular road in the day. Out little house though was one of a kind in the village as we kept more books there than I think all the other houses save the mayor's (or rather Elder's) combined. Made for an interesting childhood. Spent the day and afternoons roughhousing with the local Earthers and Pegasi and then the evenings and some nights reading enough theory on magic to make me nearly blind."
Star sighs for a moment. "Wasn't all good though. Sometimes we had to deal with some petty bandit raids and while the adults at the time could throw up a pretty good fight they didn't always manage to eke out a win but we were never in any sort of starvation or desperation state either."
